A Great Buying Experience
My buying experience a Philpott Toyota was 5 Star from start to finish. Daren Granger, the General Manager, set the tone for what was an easy and seamless buying experience. Prior to coming to Philpott to serve as GM, Daren had sold me my first Tundra. He is a gentleman, polite in every respect, and extremely knowledgeable about vehicles. When it was time to trade in and upgrade to a new Tundra, I immediately called Daren and asked for his help. Once again, Daren guided me through the buying process. Because I live two hours from the dealership, I worked with Daren by phone and then he found the exact vehicle I was looking for. When I arrived at the dealership to pick up my new Tundra, every person I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Shelly for showing me all of the new features on my Tundra, to Chris in the finance office, and to the kind receptionist who greeted me with a smile. 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary review
Love driving this fun car.
Love driving this fun car. Maintenance has been an issue and will probably only get worse... Item: Like most modern cars, there are no grease points in the suspension. So when the little rubber boots that cover the joints rot away, there's no way to lubricate the suspension, and the parts start to grind against each other. Out $4k to replace the front and rear suspension. Had them do the struts too since they had to take everything else out. Item: Many parts no longer available. The accelerator pedal switches failed. No Ford or aftermarket replacement to be found. Good news: found one at a salvage yard. Bad news: it's the same age as the one it replaced. Item: Crack in the windshield? Stay away from any chain that rhymes with "Chafe-Bite." Replacing the windshield means removing the frame. Very few of their techs are trained on how to do this.
