Bought a brand new in 2019 Transit Connect, since then we only had to change the brakes and oil !!!! Love this van. Works fine for our company needs. The money that we saved on gas alone is priceless (27/28 MPG). I decided to write this now because this is the only Ford product that didn't disappoint us. Hopefully they start making this work horse again soon.

Cole was extremely helpful and patiently answered all of my questions. He saw that my repairs were done in a timely manner. I knew I needed an oil change but when they did their Check, they discovered other things that needed to be addressed. He was kind and helped me decide what needed to be done right now and what could wait a bit. I truly appreciate his help and all of the good work at Honda. Excellent care all around !👍

I just sold this car after owning it 17 years. I will miss it'! We could always depend on it in any kind of weather. It would start up like it was new even if it sat in the driveway for days. I hope the new owners enjoy it as much as we did.

This van is one of the best vehicles I ever owned. It's built like a tank. I purchased it in 2016 with 72,000 miles. Now I have 162,000 on it never had engine or transmission problems. It's great in the snow especially with snow tires. I never been stuck.

This van is a great family van yet heavier and safer than the so-called "Mom's soccer van". It is a bit noisy for me! If the radio is on you don't notice road sounds. Lol! It hasgreat power for a van! I get teased that it isn't the Indy 500! It really hasgreat acceleration and power! Radio and speaker system really rocks!😊

It meets needs but the DVD player went out quick left window don't work to much cost to fix left auto sliding door but plenty of room the back seat could be more comfortable

I read the reviews, considered all the good and the bad and still took a chance. Found a local person familiar with the type of car for a PPI. They di fix the AC on their dime. The car did have a minor accident on the drivers passenger door, not reported on the Experian report. This was not a deal breaker for me. I chose to fly out of state to make sure I got the title in my hand. Everyone was pleasant to work with from the moment I contacted them. I took one star off only because I arrived around 10:30am and wasn't able to leave till 4pm. I drove the car 500+ miles home without any problems.

I bought a 2003 Ford Windstar SEL on November 30th of 2003. I LOVED that car! I was forced to give it up in June of 2018. I never should have let that happen. If I could get her back, I’d do it in a heartbeat. The very first time I sat in the driver’s seat, I knew she was going to be the best vehicle I have ever owned, and she was! She just felt so perfect under me - my test drive was less than 1/2 of a city block and I was sold. To the shock of the salesman, I pulled out my checkbook immediately and said, “How much?” Our family made so many memories in that car. All three of our kids learned how to drive in that car. We made so many family trips in that car. Ford messed up when they dropped the Windstar line from their fleet. I’m convinced that the Windstar was the BEST vehicle Ford ever manufactured … I keep hoping Ford will wake up and bring the Windstar back!

The telephone call was pleasant. The sales person was cordial, and informative. Our problem was she is on the West coast, and I am on the East coast! It's, as you might expect, difficult to buy something sight unseen.

We bought a 2001 Windstar brand new with 10 miles. We got rid of it back in 2015/16 with like 152,000 miles. It never really had major problems just the Alternator went bad twice otherwise great car fun to drive.

Compared to other front drive minivans, it's a gas guzzler and stops slowly. Not a great choice for soccer moms, but maybe the best choice for bigger families towing camper or boat often. Nice cargo van for people looking to take all seats out but maybe better mpg 3L in another make for the traveling crowd.

This is my second windstar . My 2000 went 240k miles with only 1 transmission rebuild at 160k. Water pump at 144k. Great van . My 2002 has 51k with no repairs other than oil changes and brakes Ford builds quality in 2002. German motor USA trans. No complaints. Only replaced 3 batteries . 1 power window motor. due to lack of use. If you can find an old one under 100k buy it.

The other two gentlemen in the office were also very helpful in getting the vehicle ready for my taking delivery of it. This car has it's quirks, electrical system is awful and would not recommend models that boast electric opening doors and seats, lights and radio are all that you should truly need. Because of this system we've had multiple batteries and alternators through the life of this van, but invest in a battery with a long life and pro-rated replacement (Les Schwab's good) and the alternator while can be quite pricey for some new, can be replaced by anyone in under an hour with only a few cheap tools. Van is currently 240k+, had a rebuilt transmission once (any transmission will conk out after 100k miles) and unfortunately mine has a slow oil leak that I have not to taken the time to get into. Now that its old the speakers are going, but I'm not surprised considering they're factory. Hatch unlock takes a few tries from the electric unlock buttons to undo and the passenger window no longer works (need to check if it's the electrics themselves or the motor). Oil leak Is the only engine problem I have ever had, hope to run this old girl until I retire her when the tranny gives out. Worth the buy! (Did I mention I drive it for 300 mile trips over the Snoqualmie pass at least once a month now and it still has enough power from the 3.8L engine to go 80+mph up the mountainside) *Van is second owner, parents purchased around 60k miles and we've been driving it ever since

Got as a stealth van.....$1500 one owner 120k miles been all over east USA, plenty of room to travel and gas 20 mpg highway..... great for small camping trips

Good little van for maintenance work. Wont haul all my tools, but enough to get most jobs done, including a 5x10 trailer on the back with no issues.

The performance is great, strong, smooth ride, comfortable for my height, reliable for cargo usesage, top of van also..only two things..power windows, trunk, buttons, I'll just say you may need to check minor sensors nothing serious, I only had the van for a week, haven't got it checked yet and I only need a heater coil flushed and I drove it over 30 miles to transport bed..seats lay back for mattress , bed frame.used top of car to tie down box spring, made it home..no problem :)
