In two weeks I'd visited over half a dozen dealerships and some had exceptional customer service, but the sales didn't go through for varying reasons while others had very poor customer relations and the sale didn't go through for the obvious reason. You can imagine my surprise when Bill, the sales manager at Stevens 112, contacted me directly instead of his sales staff. It was a no BS pitch from the start and the price he had for the truck I wanted was already priced to sell--it was already lower than comparable trucks I'd negotiated at all the other dealerships. I've purchased a brand new vehicle without test driving it or seeing it in person, but doing that with a used vehicle was a gamble. This gamble, as it turned out, benefitted everyone. Not only did I go home happy, but I actually paid LESS in fees than I was told on the phone. I literally paid only $145 over the listed price out the door! Bill was a brief conversation, but when he said come see us, take the ferry to LI and I'll have my guy pick you up I was skeptical and thought it was another cheap ploy to get me through the door. NOPE. Frank the sales consultant took care of me and made sure big Mike picked me up on time. These guys were friendly and they don't BS. The price was just right without me having to negotiate and they took care of me. This was a painless and stress less shopping/buying experience that was worth my time and money. Of all the dealerships I'd visited, Stevens Ford 112 had the best and realistic price for their trucks. If they tell you, the truck is priced to sell, they really mean it. Look around at all the other dealerships and you'll know exactly what I mean. The next time I buy another truck or have friends and family who want to buy a truck, I'm recommending they visit Stevens 112 first.

I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

Although pricey, this truck is awesome to drive . Very sharp looking and runs fast! I highly recommend ! We went from a Flex to this car and it was a seamless transition.

My husband and I stopped there to look at their Edge inventory. No intention of purchasing that day but getting an idea of what to look for and what we want. The sales person was very laid back and did not put any pressure on us to purchase. When we are ready to purchase I would definitely go back!

Best car I’ve ever owned. Does everything I want//need it to do. Always starts in the morning. I’ve been camping with it and slept inside the car. Plenty of room

I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.

2017 Ford Explorer. I love my car. It runs great but I have had battery problem and trim has blown off my car on freeway. Have not had a lot of problems with it.

Worked with Todd and Charlie. Bought used 2020 BMW 330xdrive. Fair, if not cheapest price. Moderate doc fee. Gave very generous trade price on old BMW. Pre-purchase inspection showed 1 tire with low tread; they replaced all 4. Very easy to work with; very good deal.

I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

I visited on the second day being opened and had a great experience in buying a 2022 Explorer and trading in a 2016. It was seamless. Had an issue with the new car that turned out to be a factory defect that they had Ford correct. All good. I’ll be back.

I upgraded from a 2017 Explorer Sport to a 2025 Explorer ST. It handles better. It sounds better. It is faster. The interior is way better. The seats hug you. The infotainment system is fast and works really well.

2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

Went in to buy a used vehicle they had in their inventory. The finance manager worked out a good deal with me to meet my needs in the vehicle i was interested in. The sales person Axel was great with comunication in the car i was interested on.

Driving experience is great. Either engine is plenty of power but even the base 2.3l is very fast. Rear wheel drive bias is noticeable in driving dynamics making it fun to drive. The new Google based infotainment system one of the best in the industry in my opinion.. Almost don't even need a phone with how smart it is. Blue cruise is very convenient for long monotonous highway drives if equipped

I bought two cars from Mike Barrows. Mike's salesmanship goes unmatched. He did not pressure us at any point and was always willing to do his best on a price for us. The transaction was quick, easy and smooth. Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

I’ve always dreaded going to dealerships; expecting to spend my whole day being pressured into buying something that I “give in” to so the salesperson shuts up and usually more than I wanted monthly payments to be (lessons learned). My experience yesterday was the complete opposite! My salesman Rob Mosen-super awesome! Honest, real, down to earth. He has the perfect balance of businessman and advisor and I definitely recommend him to everyone. Matt and Ron were awesome too, very personable. The whole atmosphere is comforting. Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

I have nothing but positive things to say about Colonial Ford. Their customer service team was nothing but phenomenal! I found a car online I did an inquiry. The next day I received a text message asking about appointment times and confirming the vehicle was still available the day before and also the morning of my appointment. I was greeted with friendly smiles. Tom Sweeney was great. He showed me the car inside and outside. Took me on a test drive. Asked me what I wanted to do and I said I want a second opinion and that I won’t be available till Monday night. We came down we looked at it and then I went home ran some numbers talked to them and they worked with me so I could get into my next vehicle. They weren’t pushy at all, they weren’t your typical car dealership people that hound you and take advantage of a women looking at a car alone. I’m beyond thankful for them and I hope to do business again with them in the future when it’s time for an upgrade. Looked at many different vehicles, very happy with 2022 Ford Explorer. The Explorer vehicle is very roomy with all the comforts of a luxury vehicle.
