I was searching for a new/used car. I used Cars.com to search for a Toyota Highlander. Carmax in Ft. Worth, TX was one of my choices. The car shown online was EXACTLY as shown when I saw it-the pics and details provided about the car were so accurate, there wasn't a need for alot of "wheeling and dealing". I emailed Carmax regarding my interest, late at night. Not only did I receive an email within 1 hour, the next day I received a phone call from Mr. Ben Arbour, the person who would eventually sale me the car. He walked me through their process, got me pre-approved over the phone, so that all that was left to do when I got to the office was to get the trade-in value on the car I was trading, test drive the new car & sign paperwork to purchase. I bought a 2010 Toyota Highlander that was a 1 owner car with approx. 13,700 miles. I recommend Carmax to anyone looking to get another car. They were great!!! The customer service is GREAT!!!

He called me later that afternoon. After that very calm conversation, he gave me very solid reassurances that a different Ford dealership had lied to me about some things.. I already had pre approved financing at my credit union, so this was a fairly straight forward process. Mel made this process so easy. I'm not a youngster with no experience. Quick and friendly service for my oil change but they overfilled my engine. I was visiting from out of state so I was glad to find a dealer that would have me in and out. When I got on the road, after a few hours of driving on the interstate, I started smelling oil burning, when I stopped, I saw my dipstick was popped out of flush position, and oil sprayed all over the engine compartment. Despite this loss of oil, I still had at least 2 quarts over according to the dipstick.

This truck doesn't get very good gas mileage, and it is not fancy-looking, but it is one of the most dependable vehicles I have ever owned. I have had it forever! We use it for all kinds of stuff, camping, commuting, hauling crap around, including a small horse trailer.
