2023 Genesis G70 review
I am a current Lexus owner (owned many) and former Infiniti M45 owner, the Genesis replaced the Infiniti. When manufacturers want to break into a market (USA) they must do something to compete and stand out. It must be price and value. In 1990 the first LS400 I purchased was 35K and it was true then and the Genesis division of Hyundai is doing the same thing now. What you get for what you pay is outstanding. The other boys on the block, BMS, Mercedes and Audi have the name recognition already and you PAY for it ! The exterior is a work of art and it pleases me when I look at it and I have received many complements. This car is a compact luxury sport sedan not something you haul a 80 inch TV home in. My friend has a BMW 650i, he uses his SUV when he goes to COSTCO. Also since when is a sport sedan a mileage champ ?? Want good mileage buy a Prius. The car has tremendous fit and finish, a great paint job and the interior is super especially if you go for the Sport Prestige model with the Nappa leather. The stitching is fabulous. If one can't live with the lane following assist and the Lane Keeping Assist you can turn them off, I for one thing they are great ! As far as the back seat being cramped unless you have the front seat all the way back, there doesn't seem to be an issue. I have had a 6 foot 1 passenger and he had no complaints. But again it is a sport sedan not a limo. I have to plug my phone into my Lexus with a wire too, to prevent it getting tangled get a 6 inch wire - problem solved. You can get the back doors to unlock with the front door; it is a setting you can choose. Advantage with Genesis is that all of the adjustments and there are many are to be made by the owner not having to pay the dealer to make them from the number of flashes on a soft touch of the turn signal to the contrast/brightness on the cameras. Yes, the HBA (high beam assist) must be turned on even if the headlights are in the "auto" position. But what about the BVM on the dash ? O.K. I did purchase a G70 with the sport prestige package but you have to admit that is some tech leading stuff. BTW, that is a camera image of the blind spot when you turn on the lane change lever on the dash. The car offers many of the safety features in the base car. To get what this car offers in the Prestige package you have to spend at least 10K more in a BMW if you can get all of the features the Genesis offers. Heck, the car even comes with a space save tire. Try finding one of those on your BMS/Mercedes/Audi. This car is a great car. In the short period I have owned I am extremely happy with it and love the pickup, technology, styling and comfort features. I didn't buy it for long hauling commuting to save on gas ! II say give this car a long look and I am sure you purchase one you will love it as I do. BTW, the rear seats fold down so that you may actually be able to get a large flat TV back there !

2021 Genesis G70 review
This was my first luxury car and I was not disappointed. It was priced below most competitors, yet came standard with features such as Lane-Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise control, and Apple Carplay. It is very comfortable to ride in, yet can be sporty when you want it. I have also been able to get well above the EPA 23mpg which is a bonus. I love this car and have no complaints!

CarMax West Broad review
First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2022 Genesis G70 review
Twin-turbo V6 Sport Prestige is a beast. Gladly traded my BMW in for it. Genesis is better looking, better built, better value and can leave my 330i Sport in the dust. 100k warranty leaves nothing to chance.

2023 Genesis G70 review
Coming out of a 2003 vehicle (Jaguar X-type) & getting behind the wheel of a 2023 model was a startling transition. Even though my CPO G70 is a base model (2.0T/AWD) it’s like piloting a space craft! I love this car! And with all of the safety & convenience features, it feels like it cares for me as well. The performance, ride & handling are exemplary. In the spirit of complete transparency, here are a few nits. - The gas mileage isn’t class leading & requiring premium gas adds to the cost of operation. Solution? Tame your right foot! Acceleration is quite lively. - The rear seats are tight for large people & the trunk space is merely adequate (a pass-through rear center seat is quite helpful). But keep in mind, this the smallest model in the lineup. If you need more space, there’s the G80. - Finally, I’m still sorting out some of the infotainment features (which didn’t exist in 2003!). Let me finish by praising the service departments. Without question the best experience I’ve had, up there with M-B & exceeding Jaguar.

2023 Genesis G80 review
I owned a 2022 G80 Sport Prestige for 7 months. It was an impeccably built and beautiful car. I loved the rear wheel steering, soft close doors, comfortable seats and exquisite interior that you can't get anywhere at this price. After waiting at the local dealership for 5 months for parts and service, it was destroyed by a hail storm. The dark side of owning a Genesis is the atrocious dealer service! Beware.

2018 Genesis G80 review
This car is dependable, stylish, and has a lot of upgraded features for the money. It also has a lot of interior room for front as well as rear seating. It also runs on regular unleaded fuel, which saves money. The standard brakes and suspension are okay, but could be better. The quality of the factory paint could be better as well. I would prefer if it came with a wood steering wheel instead of the standard leather, which tends to wear out quickly. Overall it is a great car.

2023 Genesis G70 review
Car is fun to drive, great mileage, nice performance, comfortable on the highway. Only negative is the smaller trunk but since both back seats fold down it is ok as there are only two of us in the family. This is my second genesis and they are great cars.

2023 Genesis G70 review
I just bought my G70 after looking at many different makes and models. I bought mine at the Monmouth Junction Genesis dealer. Fred Corea was extremely helpful and helped me to decide to drive home with one that day. My car drives great and really opens up on the highway when I have it in Sports mode. The interior is the second thing that sold me on the car. Lots of attention to detail and plenty of toys/tech to enjoy. It takes a while to get used to all of the tech, but I'm getting there. The car gets lots of looks and many people have no idea what it is even after I tell them. Go have a test drive.

CarMax Charleston review
My situation must have been the most difficult situation ever at a Carmax, even though it was tough and the Managers and Myself got frustrated at times Ed, Dave, Eric, and Chris (Carmax Charleston Managers) never gave up on me and worked hard to make this thing happen. I came to them looking for my dream car, the Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt or Evolution on a limited budget. They found the vehicle and brought it in, I bought the vehicle and there were a few problems with it, the guys took the car back no questions asked and found another one, even though there were some other issues that occured the Management staff at Carmax stuck by me and helped me make it happen. Anyone new to the car buying process should go see the team at Carmax, Charleston, as they will guide you through the process and explain it to you the whole way through! 2022 Genesis G70 review
The Genesis G70 3.3T Rear Wheel Drive is one of the best performance values on the used car market. I do think there are a few better options then this car in the sport sedan field. The BMW M340i and Audi S3 come to mind, however you will pay more for those cars. Pros 1. Powerful 3.3 Turbo Engine. 2. Quick Shifting Transmission. 3. Solid Handling on a backroads. 4. 2018 Genesis G80 review
I bought a G80 3.3T 2018 I love the car, it’s spacious, comfortable, love the get up and go, love the power and speed. I checked the reviews and they were for the most part very good and I decided to jump. The car has given me a couple of problems, driver side door wouldn’t open and driver side turbo leaking oil. Second guessing my purchase

2017 Genesis G80 review
So far, after just 1 week, the used car is wonderful. Cannot rate reliability yet. Missing 360 degree camera view. Otherwise has every other safety feature out there. Driving is a true joy. My mpg on the highway is just over 30 according to the dash. Please remember to get a pre purchase inspection and be wary of some huge dealer fees.

2019 Genesis G70 review
Hands down the best bang for the buck in its class. Performance is awesome and the ride is smooth. It's a well balanced car. When people get in the car they love it. My only gripe is that my trim (sport package) is defective . It's a known issue. Back seats are also small. Trunk is tiny but the rear seats fold down. I hauled some lumber last night (lol).

This weekend I visited the Lease Return Center to purchase a truck, and I can honestly say this was one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear how busy the dealership was. Surprisingly, there were only two salespeople working at the time, and David was one of them. Even with that level of pressure, he remained calm, professional, and extremely attentive to every customer. What really stood out to me was how David handled the situation. Despite juggling multiple customers, he never made me feel rushed or overlooked. That level of customer service is rare, especially in such a high-demand environment. While waiting, I walked the lot and was genuinely impressed by the quality of their inventory. They had a great selection of upscale vehicles, all well-maintained and appealing. It definitely speaks to the standard this dealership maintains. Once David was able to assist me, he was knowledgeable, patient, and very transparent throughout the entire process. The paperwork was handled efficiently, and he even made sure my truck was fully cleaned and ready, even though it was located at another lot. I left extremely satisfied with my purchase and confident that I chose the right place to do business. David went above and beyond, and his professionalism did not go unnoticed. 2023 Genesis G80 review
I bought my 2023 G80 a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. I get great gas mileage in eco mode, great power in sport mode. It's smooth as silk and the seats are very comfortable. I love the technology in the car.

2019 Genesis G90 review
This is the finest luxury sedan in America that almost nobody knows about, thanks to the bungled Genesis launch and lack of advertising for it 6 years ago. That being said it is spacious, reliable and a tremendously good value. I have driven mine for 6 years now and the car is as tight as the day it came out of the showroom - not a squeak, rattle or part failure once. It is also just about the last of the "normal" big V-8's that burn regular gas and don't have or need turbos to make up for all the forced downsizing cars have gone to 6's and 4's to meet insane proscribed mileage average standards.
