2024 Mitsubishi Mirage review
It’s a simple, affordable, efficient car with higher end technology you wouldn’t expect in a car like this. Others have said the AC is terrible, but I haven’t experienced anything of the sort - quite the contrary. The AC cools the small cabin in just a few minutes even in 90+ degree Georgia summer heat. Maybe an older one that needs the AC serviced wouldn’t work as well, but nothing works like new unless you take care of it. As for everything else, it really is what it is. Its strong points are fuel efficiency, technology, and long term reliability. Weak points are exactly what you would expect for the trade off: not a sports car so it doesn’t take off like one, not an extremely comfortable ride, but what do you expect from an inexpensive car built to be light weight and good on mpg.

I came to Ridge Road many years back looking for a quality used vehicle. Ray, the owner, found me just the vehicle I was looking for. The vehicle needed routine service once in a while, and I went to Ridge Road Imports Service, which is on the same premises. Being a female (accountant), I had been "fleeced" before, and was always wary because I know next to nothing about cars. EXCELLENT service, mechanics talked to me with respect, good explanations, accurate estimates, and timely completions of work. I have purchased every single one of my subsequent vehicles since then from Ridge Road, because they can always find me what I need. At times, I have had some very specific requests, like the vehicle must be a stick and be able to fit four Greyhounds in the back for one example. Recently I totaled my car, that I had purchased from Ridge Road. I was very upset and also heartbroken because I loved the car, and really demand a stick as opposed to an automatic. Elliott and Ray took SUCH good care of me. They found me the SAME model of car, (in a nicer color!), much newer, and it's a stick!!! Everyone at Ridge Road that I have dealt with over the years is both professional and friendly. They are eager to please their customers, and have gone out of their way to find me and friends the cars they want and need. I wholeheartedly recommend Ridge Road Imports without reservation to anyone looking for a quality used car and/or excellent and reasonably priced and honest servicing of your car in a timely manner.
2024 Nissan Leaf review
One needs to be "ready" to drive an EV. Charging a car is different than filling it with gasoline. But with a little planning, it works great, and it is MUCH cheaper. The car is really fun to drive. It's quiet, with very little vibration, yet VERY responsive. It has lots of great safety features, as well. It is well-priced, and the $7,500 federal rebate was really helpful! It's a great car.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage review
I downsized from a 2014 Subaru Forester I had for 10 years, purchasing a 2-year old Mirage SE with a whopping 4000 miles on it. It’s a beautiful tiny car, as loaded as can be, and averages 40 mpg. It works great in the city and on the highway and is a little cocoon of amenities. The visibility out the front window was a bit challenging to get used to due to the black box. And despite only being 5’4” I sit really high to the windscreen. Otherwise the interior fits me great — being aware this is not a car built for bigger people or those needing to haul more than 2 people and some groceries (although I do plan to take it camping), I love the styling and overall zippiness. It was priced very well for the model. This will be a long-term vehicle for me and I’m very pleased a month in.

2026 Mazda Mazda3 review
Bought 26' Mazda 3 hatchback Premium 6spd. While this car occupies a niche segment, a manual transmission car (not a CUV), it is a practical daily commuter car that also brings some driving joy to my enthusiast side. This model has been around since 2019 but still looks like it could have been a new model release. The interior is one of the nicest in the segment. All places touched frequently are covered in soft plastics or leather. The options include a complete host of safety and driver aids, headup display, lane departure, and adaptive cruise are actually helpful and not intrusive. I enjoy the Bose 12spkr system while rowing through the gears. The transmission is smooth and precise. This is not a fast car but it is a joy driving with spirit. The back seats are snug but our young children fit comfortably. The rear hatch is deep and fits enough for getaways or Costco runs. The handling is confidence inspiring that keeps you grinning even well within the car's limits. Having owned other Mazdas including Mazda6 6spd v6, CX 5 twice...the Mazda 3 hasn't disappointed. The Mazda 3 is a fun car that delivers a rewarding experience, decent fuel efficiency, adequate practicality, and an interior that feels premium. The long term reliability is the really what seals the deal. We're looking forward to many years of enjoying ownership.

2023 Kia Soul review
The Kia Soul is great for commuting and getting around town. It gets very good mileage and has everything I need to get comfortably from point A to point B. It's not a "Grand Tourer." It won't set your heart aflutter as your roar down the interstate. But it's comfortable to drive, the styling is good (I kind of like the older model years slightly better), and the features are well thought out and valuable. I REALLY like the Kia Soul! The one I won now is my second one, and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with another some day.

2024 Subaru Impreza review
Bought the car 3-4 weeks ago after 16 years with Nissans, and this is heads and tails above the Nissan, and i loved my Sentra's But the body lines are better on the Impreza, i like the Hatchback over the sedan, i have the base model and frankly i prefer the 2 screens over the 1 huge one, i do wish they had the android play wireless in the base but i still have it, just have to plug in, People say the 2.0 boxer is slow, they never owned a 1.8 sentra lol, this car feels smoother, it is a tad noisier on the highway but a better ride over all, as to dependability full discloser i was once a Subaru mechanic at a dealership, but always assumed i couldn't afford a subaru and i was wrong, but they are as if not more dependable than a Toyota and a lot less money.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid review
This 2013 c-max hybrid has absolutely stood the test of time , unexpectedly driving excessive miles daily for years without having any mechanical problems, we did replace worn tires and always kept up with the recommended sevice maintenance by Ford. I had been looking for months for a Subaru Baja. They are pretty rare. These folks had a 2005 that looked good, so after some emails and calls I drove 100 miles from Rochester to take a look and possibly trade my 2001 Outback. The Baja was as clean and ran as well as I had been led to believe by Elliot, and I bought the Baja. At home I discovered that the driver's side door lock didn't work. I took the car in to my local Subaru dealer to get that fixed and have some routine maintenance performed and have the car checked out in detail, even though I was pretty sure there was nothing seriously wrong with it. The dealer confirmed that the car was in good shape, and estimated the lock repair. This repair would not have been covered by Ridge Road's warranty and I knew that, but I thought a call to them was in order anyway. Elliot offered to split the cost of the lock repair. So I had the repair done by my dealer and sent Elliot the bill. In a matter of days I received a check for the agreed-upon amount. It would have been easy for these folks to walk away from this, but they didn't. Over the years I've bought LOTS of cars from lots of dealers. Some of those experiences were good, some not so good. From beginning to end, this experience was one of the good ones. I would deal with these people again. You should too.
2017 Toyota Prius Prime review
I've owned my 2017 Toyota Prius Prime for 160,000 miles, and every day still feels like a new experience. The reliability, fuel economy, and overall quality continue to amaze me. This car has proven that efficiency and durability can go hand in hand. Even after all these miles, I still enjoy driving it as much as when I first bought it. A truly outstanding vehicle. 2025 Kia Soul review
Excellent vehicle except the standard headlights are terrible. They are not bright at all. Even on high beams they do not light up the road adequately. I am looking into adding additional led light sources to supplement the head lights. Unfortunately they dealer tell me they cannot swap out the halogen bulbs for led ones.

2023 Kia Soul review
I have had my 2023 KIA Soul Sport since March of 2023. I love it, because it's comfortable, fast (little red button) especially in Michigan. I have had it up to 111mph without even trying, as i was trying to get out of a situation in Michigan. I use a wheelchair, and so the space is good for that and family, and groceries. It is awesome on gas too. I was surprised at how well it handled in the snow. No worries there. This is my third KIA, and as long as the warranty stays the same or gets better, i will still purchase them.

2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 review
We purchased the car with 14K miles on it and we're loving it! The performance is out of this world and we're constantly getting compliments on the exterior of the car. We've had a couple of minor warranty issues, hence, my 4 vs. 5 stars for "Reliability." We flew down to LA and drove the car back to Northern CA and the comfort level was great...and although we tested the power and speed, we made it back without a ticket! We would buy this car again in a heartbeat!
