It’s what was best of the 17-21 then add more refinement. The +r mode can pogo sometimes but not a big deal since can program all the +r features with the comfort or sport suspension under individual. Sound system is fantastic, interior ergonomics are fantastic, spacious, 320 miles per tank which is good for a performance hatchback, track performance in stock form is fantastic, can hang with cars it’s not got business hanging with.

It's been 5 month since I got my Type R, and it was the right choice for me . It might be for everyone so I recommend taking a test drive if the dealer let's you and get your finance done ans shop around for MSRP. I had no problem driving 1400 miles round trip and wasn't beat driving the car. This is a keeper for sure.

One of the well-constructed cars I owned. I owned seven Honda/ Acura cars never one disappointment. The six speeds can run up to 7k RPM. This is a small rocket when needed in R-Mode. Comfort mode is great when it comes to mpg gas.

I really like auto nation Honda in Costa Mesa. They are reliable, fast, and very courteous every time I come to see them and they wash my car! I recommend this dealership.

It's my 3rd Type R and last.IS such a great platform that I had to own each upgrade. Is a well-balanced car. It spacious enough to be a daily, fun enough to take it to the track, reliable enough to put miles on without worry.

I want to start off with the compassion this place has for the customers. I never once felt pressured for anything when being here and talking with the sales reps. I had the pleasure of doing business with Rami. He took things at my pace, was very understanding and I felt tried his hardest to get me into the car I so desperately wanted. He kept me updated on the car and walked me through each step making sure I was comfortable and answering my questions to reassure me of what was going on. Then came the gorgeous Vanessa who emailed me during the week to make sure my dream car was still available. When I went into the dealership she introduced herself and sat to talk to me even though I was working with Rami. She was very nice and also made my experience that much better. She honestly cared and I could tell by how passionately she spoke to me and could see it in her eyes. Last came Argenis who tried his hardest to get me the best deal I could handle. He was very professional and walked me through everything. He made the experience very comfortable and I am very pleased with my whole experience here. I would recommend 10/10. "haha" Take it to a track and you will see why Honda is going to make elite cars think about pricing! I own a 2022 porsche 911 turbo s, and i have owned many bmw audi and ferrari. I have raced rally for years and this type R even at 60k smokes the competition. Mind blown how it holds the corners and zips right back up with the top porsche cayman gt3 gt4. Just a joy to drive!

Got a wonderful used Fiat from Chris. The experience was good and got in and out in under 3 hours. From stepping on the lot to driving away. Was the most stress free car buying experience I have ever had.

Car is surprisingly compliant, I’ve had a few big Audis and vws with low profile tires and this car is really comfortable in comfort mode, took it immediately to a private event at Palmer a few weeks back and the car in stock form did fabulously, definitely lives up to the hype.... and then some. Only downside so far is the lack of options for tires since this car has odd-sized tires, non oem wheels are out of the question, the car has zero torque steer, aftermarket wheels would make all the magic go away. Also, 30mpg is a big plus. I traded my 2011 Range Rover sport for this and honestly the Honda rides better. Leaving the car stock will be the main goal, the car to my eyes is absolutely perfect and livable for daily duties. One thing I’ve noticed lately is that the car has not stopped from appreciating. Future classic is an understatement.

I decided to go to Huntington Beach for my Sonata Sport Plus, instead of the dealership where I got my Elantra from last year, and I was not disappointed. The dealership is friendly and puts clientel first. I wasn’t rushed to do anything, just make my decisions and go. It’s not everyday that people go the extra mile for you. I couldnt get someone to take me there, but the dealership was super understanding and came to take me to the dealership, where we did all the paperwork and i was able to drive off the lot. Not only that, Christina P, the one who sold me the Sonata and also came to pick me up, also had driven to MULTIPLE dealerships to get me the exact car i wanted. Lance was awesome, working with what was able to be worked with, handling finances both in person and even through the phone. Y’all are sweet! My family and family friends are hyundai shoppers, and we all go to the same dealership, so Huntington definitely has our business! ����❤️

I purchased the 2023 Honda type R on December 14th and what can I say this is an incredible car, I just can't wait to start my new weekend hobby road course racing.

This dealership was honest and up front with me. I was interested in a truck. I sent a email about it, they responded very quickly and seemed interested in assisting. Before I got to the dealer the truck was sold. No problem with that. Someone got their first. What I liked is the dealer let me know before making a 80 mile drive the truck was gone. I recommend this place.

Best all around Bang for your buck "IF!!!!" you can find it for Sticker price I had to go to 17 dealerships to finally have one sell me one at sticker price. It is amazing car. TIRES: Current Stock tires tend to scramble for traction more times than I would like but sticker ties should fix that. RIMS: These 20" rims... this is a surprisingly comfortable ride, but allow Jesus on your side if you hit a pot hole, to bless your rims for another ride. TRANSMISSION: Seems to have an issue with downshifting which seems to be a known issue by most TYPE R owners. The shifter will not go into 4th, 3rd or 1st easily occasionally has been my issue. This is very annoying when it happens especially since its a brand new car but no where near a deal break at this point in ownership. COMFORT:Seats are next level comfortable, OMG car is almost worth just the seats on long trips short trips, sometimes I just want to hope in the car just to relax. PERFORMANCE: Is not...whats the word.... Fun. What I mean by that is, i've driven EVO 8, Silva, Intera, Miata, Prelude, RX-7, Skyline, RX-8, and WRX STI, and the Honda Civic is a better performing car than all of these vehicles, however all of these other vehicle FEEL more fun to drive because of the way the Type R delivers its performance. Its calm, collected, third gear will launch you from 30-->80mph in like 3-4 seconds and you have no idea you are retardedly beyond the speed limit until you hit the breaks and then the speed becomes apparent. Around turns it just grips and takes you through the turn. No drama, no excitement, no fun, just surgically, expertly, confidently a driving professional. This may be an awful description but I really hope it helps someone out! CLEANING: If you are doing it by hand there are so many nooks and crannies on the exterior it is quite the endeavor. Also the alcantara/suede/ whatever it is seats grab particles and hair like nobodies business. Overall the worst part about this vehicle is having to deal with the Honda dealerships.
