Used 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid for sale near West Puente Valley, CA

We’d been shopping for a new car for about two weeks and finally decided on a Honda Accord. Most of the dealerships didn’t have the color we wanted. I called Jose at New Century Honda and they had the car available plus they beat the best offer we had received by over $400. When we arrived Jose was friendly and did everything he could to make the buying process painless—which it was (Thank you to the finance guy, Omar, for being informative, thorough and friendly!). Jose not only helped me set up my Apple Play, he told me I could call him with questions anytime. That level of customer service after you’ve already bought the car is unheard of. It was definitely a win-win situation!

With 40-48 mpg around town and close to 40 mpg on the highway, we have saved several thousand dollars on gas by trading our Odyssey for this CRV-hybrid. It can carry a lot of baggage and is really comfortable on long trips. Great heating and cooling system, top-notch reliability with low maintenance costs. Our other car is a 2014 CR-Z hybrid, and we've owned 8 Hondas to date.

I was very impressed by this dealership and will recommend to any friends and family. I will also be coming back in case I need a new car or trade in or anything that is of the matter.

We are very happy with the car’s performance and comfort. The only two issues we’ve run into are one, the mileage we’re getting isn’t close to what was on the sticker, and two, the computer/entertainment system has had to be rebooted and the car restarted on several occasions for it to work properly. We’ve also had to change the cable fairly frequently to sinc with the iPhone.

This is our eighth CRV, starting with a 1999. The model hasn't change all that much the past several years, nor should they. Stylish, dependable, great gas mileage (32-41) and just an all around great vehicle. We looked at the newest model but were really put off by the styling. We traded our 2019 Honda Odyssey for this CR-V Hybrid AWD thinking the better mileage would pay for itself in years to come. Our Odyssey was worth so much in trade that the cost to us for the CR-V was only $4,000. The CR-V averages about 41mpg in town and has gotten as high as 48mpg. On the highway, at 75 and in cruise control, we get 35mpg and as high as 39mpg. The Odyssey got 16/26. The CR-V is so comfortable and has so many safety features that it gives us a feeling of security when driving. One small complaint: Honda should have kept the shift lever instead of changing to buttons. The 2024 model has the shift lever back.

We have now had the CR-V touring hybrid in Ohio for 1 1/2 years and still loving it,NO complaints. Average fuel in winter 33 but in summer conditions 42 and a couple of times 45, Mostly town and country driving 55/60 MPH Now have 15800 miles on the CR-V with NO problems and getting very close for second oil change. Would buy again, For a lot of high way speeds may have bought non hybrid but for our driving needs hybrid is GREAT Larry north central Ohio,

Mr Jose Vargas made buying a jeep very memorable! I came in just to look around and test drive. I ended up buying a jeep due to the fact that Jose was a very nice young man.

I visited multiple Honda dealerships for written quotes, including a Costco Auto Program referral. When I visited New Century Glendale, I did not share the competitive quotes. New Century Sales Manager George Amezcua beat every quote by reasonable margins -- and a huge savings from the Costco referral quote. I purchased the car from George and called Costco to recommend they add New Century to its approved dealer list.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Kenny, we were never pressured into buying. We were given all the information we needed. Kenny and Eddie were super helpful and they gave me the best deal!!

Zareh checked my car in for it's routine service, he was efficient and courteous. My car was ready in half the time he quoted me (awesome), and I took my car to be washed right afterwards. As I was washing my car, I noticed some caps were missing from my tires. I went back, and Zareh was the first to greet me. I told him the situation, and he immediately gave me four new caps, and even put them on my car. Zareh! You angel! Gave three stars for the facilities, they're fine. If you get there early you may even get a donut.

I brought my Honda Accord into the Service Department around 8am Friday, April 11, 2023, and was given an approximate time of completion, and so it was, as discussed. Why did I choose to visit Penske Honda of Ontario when I have a vast selection of dealerships where I live and work? I was looking for a specific year/model and they had one of the two available for sale in the state of California. Why did I choose to buy from Penske Honda of Ontario? The brand speaks for itself, I fell in love with the car BUT it was the customer service that helped seal the deal. I have had my share of bad experiences and good experiences in car buying but this one was THE best especially considering the particularity of my financial health. After my credit took a blow from a recent economic hardship, I was apprehensive of stepping into a dealership or engaging any financial institution. I did not wish to be put in a bad light and judged merely because of my credit situation. At the same time, I didn't necessarily need the car so I was in a good position to decline any outrageous, high-interest offers. Well, it didn't take long for my unease to dissipate, or even form rather. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed. Everyone had a smile and actually knew my name! Not only was I greeted by the sales staff, service manager and finance manager but the President and General Manager, Bill McGrath, himself. I must preface this by disclosing I did reach out to Bill directly to inquire about the car and financing options. What I didn't expect was for him to personally respond, and so promptly! With that I knew, it would be worth a trip to Ontario (which by the way is right off the 15 freeway; and a couple of other things to note: they have a courtesy shuttle and service is open both Saturday and Sunday). I had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle and after an honest dialogue about my finances, I was met by their just as honest feedback -- and an offer. This took me by surprise, yet it was refreshing that they had taken me seriously and utilized previously provided information to generate numbers. And they weren't bad looking numbers! What eventually led me to sign papers that night was their responsiveness and willingness to help my situation. I didn't feel as though they were trying to take advantage of me or make a quick profitable sale on my account. In fact, I don't think they made much off my transaction! They listed a number of items on the due bill of pre-existing conditions with the car, which weren't exactly a deal breaker but I would have liked to see addressed. This they handled during my subsequent service visit, and more! There were a couple of items that went unnoticed during the signing but when I brought it to their attention, it was immediately handled. Now, why am I so excited about this whole experience? Because customer service is rare and theirs was exceptional (and I LOVE my car). On a number of occasions they went above and beyond - did I mention two porters worked overtime to deliver my new car home? Oh and the Special Finance manager Jaime (no, I did not spell his name wrong), he is very knowledgeable and was instrumental in pushing forth an efficient negotiation. And Mr. McGrath? He was there every step of the way! For top management to be ever so present and involved means a lot! Everyone worked so harmoniously together and provided for a seamless transaction. Even after the purchase, they remain attentive and consistent in their care and communication of my car needs. Just as with the Honda line of cars, the individuals that make up Penske Honda Ontario are quality and performance driven. You can't expect anything less of this team because they are the epitome of Helpful Honda.
