It 2021 and I still own my 2008 Honda Element EX AWD truck/SUV. I love it so much, that I probably need to think about buying a new automobile but I can not part with it. My husband said in order to buy something new we need to let your Honda go - so I still have it. Runs wonderful and people never believe what i can haul in it. It also still looks great. I just wish that Honda would bring it back.

It can absolutely do whatever you need for daily life.
It can absolutely do whatever you need for daily life. This has it all: storage of a truck/van, compact body of a city car, funky fresh looks of nothing else. All it can't do is race and haul which most people do not need. You can sleep in the back comfortably (I am 6'6 and can do it) and hold any camping equipment you would need. It can do some *light* off roading with some good tires even. The engine and transmission with proper care can last 400k miles easy. All for under 5k.

I owned a 2006 model for 6 yrs, bought it new and put 298,000 miles on it. Honda stopped making them in 2011. When I went to buy another I couldn’t find one newer or one under 150,000 miles on it. Fast forward to 2019 and I found a 2008 EX Model with only 75,000 original miles on it and I snapped it up! Love this vehicle, so roomy and easy to take care of!

The exterior style is unique and sporty. The engines are dependable and last forever if you change the oil and filters. If this one was crashed or stolen I would buy another. So versatile. This is my second Honda Element and it is perfect for transporting 1 large dog and 2 cats in kennels to the mountain cabin and return. The roomy interior is comfortable and it has no problem at all with snow. Not the best gas mileage but I wouldn’t drive anything else!
