New and used 2026 Honda HR-V for sale near Pemberwick, CT

We were very pleased with our experience at Honda of Tenafly. It had been 2 weeks that we were very actively looking for a pre-owned BMW X1. I saw the advertisement of Honda of Tenafly on Friday for a new entry they got matching exactly our requirements. The listing had no pictures as they had no chance to take some yet (nothing sketchy as someone could think). My first contact with them was via text and I have to admit that it was not a successful experience. I would not bother with that system and call directly the dealership. We spoke to Denise that answer all our questions and set-up an appointment for us. Arriving at the dealership we were treated by one of the salesperson, Lydia - very nice and professional. She located the car and brought it for us. The car was not even in the dealership lot yet as they just had finished inspection and were in the process of cleaning it. That stopped everything for us to see it. It was perfect! The car was a trade in with a perfect Carfax - one owner, low mileage, regular maintenance by a local BMW dealership - PERFECT! We decided to go for it! The dealer’s fees were minimum and it was a very transparent process. We didn’t have our checks on us so they allowed us to make a deposit via credit card ($5,000 max on cc per transaction), leave with the car and gave us a few days to bring back a check of the remaining amount. In overall, we are very happy with the process and we would highly recommend to deal with Lydia! She answered all of our questions and was very helpful.

I leased a 2025 HRV. It was a smooth transaction. The salesman Joey Naim was great he went over all the features of the car with me. The manager also was great explaining all the forms and lease contract .

My 2026 HRV Sport came with the Hankook 18 inch tires and rode rough. I upgraded to 17 inch Michelin Primacy A/S. It made a world of difference improving the ride. Its smoother, and quieter with the Michelins. What I like about the HRV: 1. Price. OTD price was 28,600, but that included a trade in with about 1000 equity. Its hard to find a decent car under 30,000 that is not a Kia or Hyundai. 2. Safety tech. The sport model has adaptive cruise, blind spot monitor and lane keep assist, which make the car safer. 3. Easy to drive. You dont have to get a phd in the touch screen and controls, they are intuitive and easily learned, unlike my Toyota, which has a glitchy, awkward infotainment system. 4. Rear seats go all the way down and lay almost flat. This gives more room and its large for the class. 5. Spare tire. Many car companies want you to call AAA everytime you have a flat. Bad idea. The HRV not only has a spare but lots of room with the spare with special compartments for stuff like flashlights, car emergency equipment stored out of the way and the like. 6. Easy entrance and exit the vehicle even tho it does not have power seats. They slide back easily without a problem. 7. Very nice consul with storage underneath the shifter, along with usb plugs. Good place to put phone or other items. 8. Naturally aspirated long lasting non turbo engine. Turbos run hot and burn the oil and your engine. Avoid Turbos. 9. Nice that it has remote start, without buying a super expensive subscription like a Toyota. I like that Honda seems to appreciate its customers, not trying to burn us each month for more money to get the car to work right, like some companies. Are car payments not high enough for car companies so they find a need to force us to pay even more for glitchy, irritating, complicated and often non working subscriptions? Im unaware of any un needed subscriptions or apps to download and enrich hackers, on the HRV which is quite refreshing after owning 2 Toyotas with multiple subsrciption profit (for the compnay) enhancers. Dislikes: I have not yet had a chance to drive it on a longer trip, but other reviewers sometimes complained the front seat was not that comfortable, lacking a lumbar support. I thought the seat was slightly narrow, but thats because Im fat. I dont like removal of Sirius XM radio. Yes, you can, and I did, hook that up to Sirius on my phone, but that is just not the same.

Recently purchased a Honda Pilot from DCH, Their salesperson, Matthew Tuchman worked with us from start to finish. We found Matt to be very easy to work with and knowledgeable when it came to the car we were looking to buy. He was able to answer all our questions and stayed involved in the sales process until the very end. Spending as much as we all do today for a new car, you want a sales person who will listen to you and want to work with you, to make the process as smooth as possible. My salesman, Peter Leahy was helpful through all of the steps of securing the vehicle and walking me through the loan process over the phone. I never felt any pressure while dealing with him and all of the questions I had were answered quickly and thoroughly. As I live an hour and a half away from the dealership, I wanted to do most of the deal over the phone before I drove there. I was in the market for a used car for my daughter, a new driver. We went to look at a used Honda, but also noted a great looking, newer Ford that had a lot of the safety features I was looking for. Even though Honda is his brand, Gabriel recognized that this car was the better value for her, and took us on a test drive. He was great to work with, the pricing was very fair, and he even drove the car all the way down to the Ford dealer in CT so that we could have the car inspected...which was appreciated. Great service...seamless! Salesperson (Linda Pesantez) was very professional, attentive and forthcoming/transparent while tending to our needs. It helped too that my fiancé and I knew exactly what we wanted as far as choice of vehicle. We should note here that there seems to be a "homey" feel to the ambiance. We didn't feel pressured in the least and the entire purchase process lasted approximately 2 hours or a tad over. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Mahwah Honda for your next vehicle purchase.
