Service was prompt as always. The staff was very helpful. We have been going to Berlin Toyota ever since we moved to Maine in 2020.

No complaints overall on performance and durability. Only drawbacks is road noise. If you like to avoid road noise, this car is not for you. noise is too much than expected. i even went to Honda dealer to report noise, they replied me this is normal honda noise.

Waited to give an honest review. 4 years later, I know have 109,000 miles on my 2020 Pilot Tour. The bad: It developed the known crackle sound coming from the speakers. This was fixed under warranty twice. The second time not coming back and has been fine. The looks are "meh". My wife's Nissan of similar trim level has a far nicer interior and much fancier seats. On curves the "warning" light flashes on my dash and the steering wheel shakes sometimes if a car is coming from the other direction. It's annoying, but I hear a problem for many manufacturers with these safety features, not just Honda. The Good: I consider my Pilot practical. It does everything well, just not flashy. My previous car was a 2012 Honda Pilot that I put 190,000 trouble free miles on. This Pilot with an updated transmission feels MUCH quicker. It is much easier to drive. It handles well, averages around 24 mpg on my commute (non expressway), and has been trouble free outside of the speaker issue. It hauls the family well, with lots of room, especially if the 3rd row is not used. I put on the dealer installed trans cooler and trailer hitch to tow a couple of waverunners, which it hauls easily. If you can get past the "ok" styling, it is a car that does everything well and my reliability has been very, very good so far.

Honda makes a very reliable vehicle. The Pilot comes with a bevy of extras and has a very smooth ride for a medium sized SUV.

Overall great experience from inquiring about a vehicle on line with a follow up phone call to closing the deal.

The SUV meet all my family need with space, seating and tech that come from the factory are perfect for us. My wife works as an independent contractor she has a lot of equipment to move during the job hours. Picking kids from school after work work out perfectly without having to toll trailer around with her.

This car is a big step up from a Nissan Altima. Lots of space and the ride is smooth. The engine is a bit noisy when idle(clicking noise from the direct injection), and there's also a drone sound when acceleratinf beyond 60mph(not sure if this could be cause of the new tires or not), but other than those noises, it's a smooth machine!

I have previously bought 16 new cars. NEVER before did I receive the type of service that Charlie's provides, MOST notably from the sales guys that I had an extreme pleasure to deal with. I live in MA and was purchasing a new car for my son who was moving to Winthrop, Maine. My first contact was with ALAN KENNEY who right off the bat gave me what I knew was a UNBELIEVABLE DISCOUNT!! I spent many years in the new car business and recognized the discount I got on THE 2018 Honda Odyssey as HUGE. I calculated it was below invoice.... In any event in addition to the supa $$, Alan communicated with me via e-mail (as he pointed out once we met at the dealership) OVER 60 TIMES! What sales person in any dealership would respond to SIXTY E-MAILS!! ?? Alan advised me and patiently answered all of my questions as the registering process is totally different in Maine vs MA. The was also NO "games" played with silly unnecessary "BS" being offered as ad-ons to the purchase like most dealers do. The actual delivery was done by Pat Michaud who went over the cah with my son as if he was his own son buying a car for the first time. Never before did I see any sales person spend so much time explaining EVERY detail of the cah. Pat even insisted on taking my son for a "test drive". Something that you only expect when your looking to purchase a cah. Pat was spending so much time going over the car it prompted me to tell him that my son didn't need anymore assistance as he could read the manual. Pat would have nothing to do with that as he insisted on going over every detail. The finance manager, Alex Musica was thorough and went over all the figures and you cannot beat Honda financing at 1.9% . All-in all my experience with doing business with Charlie's and their staff was the most satisfying I have ever had. Only a month earlier I had purchased a "pricy" BMW in Ma and had gotten the run-around with all sorts of BS during the negotiations and upon delivery of a cah that cost 85K the salesman tossed the keys to me and said "here you go". If you live within 100 miles of a Charlie's dealership when you need to purchase a car and you don 't do business with them then you are out of your mind. Bill Mullen Quincy, MA

3rd Pilot owned in last 15 years. Each with more advanced features. Always reliable if you do all the required maint. Always a good trade value too, even with 100K + miles ! Combination of practical space, reliability, fuel economy , and performance can't be beat......Love my Honda !!

My son’s Nissan Rogue would not start. I had it towed to Lee Nissan Dealership in Topsham Maine. Ryder and team got it worked on immediately and diagnosed the problem. I have the TrailSport and I tow a 3000lb camper. Positives: 1. Ruggedness. I have off road tires and steel plate. I don’t plan to rock climb but camping and exploring often comes with bad roads and if your family is with you, this three row is superbly equipped and capable. 2. Comfort. The Trailsport is tuned off road but what a nice cushy ride without a lot of truck-like bounce. Potholes barely disturb it. 3. Layout. Really easy to jump in and drive away. I did not need a two-hour class at the dealership. A good blend of old and new. Not to hard to get into the menu to reset seats and few other things. 4. Towing. I towed 3000lb at 75mph with no problem. It was steady, tracked well and with the trailer brake (added on) it stopped just fine and gas mileage was great at about 13-14mpg loaded up. I was as high as 11,000 feet. It’s really a great all purpose family vehicle to tow the camper or boats. Negatives: 1. Solid black vinyl interior. You only get black and it gets hot as xxxx if it’s in the sun with a window down or door open. You cannot get ventilated seats. Honda, seriously, add another lighter color. 2. You cannot get a bench middle seat which I prefer and is in ALL the other Pilots. 3. Speed. The power is good but it’s geared for off road and towing so really it’s a neutral but it will not take off like lots of others unless you press the pedal pretty hard. It’s not lacking, just takes more pedal travel. Overall, I love it as a good value for the money, well equipped with the 360 cameras I love and tows and does dirt roads well. I would NOT get this model for soccer team suburban duty but if you do real SUV things then it’s hard to beat. I am also not afraid of future expensive repairs being a Honda with a tried and true engine.

Love, love, love! You can’t go wrong with a Honda & this new Pilot is the bomb! It offers comfort, all the conveniences of a smart car and looks great in the meantime. It is a great investment
