I set up an appointment on line then the salesman said he would have it ready outside. Our appointment was 3 days out. When we got there the car handnot been processed yet It needed work done and it was dirty. We test drove it and liked the car and the price. Also when we got there the cost of the car had gone up a couple of hundred dollars. Because I copied what we saw on line and our preapproval they gave up the price we first saw. That was nice. The car needed some work done on it and they did it for no cost to us. It took over a week and a couple of phone calls. We now have the car we expected to bring home the day we got it.

This car is a big step up from a Nissan Altima. Lots of space and the ride is smooth. The engine is a bit noisy when idle(clicking noise from the direct injection), and there's also a drone sound when acceleratinf beyond 60mph(not sure if this could be cause of the new tires or not), but other than those noises, it's a smooth machine!

No complaints overall on performance and durability. Only drawbacks is road noise. If you like to avoid road noise, this car is not for you. noise is too much than expected. i even went to Honda dealer to report noise, they replied me this is normal honda noise.

Best car buying experience of my life. Made an online inquiry on Thursday around noon, and by Friday afternoon we were driving to Smart Honda from Omaha to pick up our new Odyssey. Clay Olson was awesome to work with. Prompt, clear, fair, understanding, etc... everything you could want. After almost 180,000 trouble-free miles with our 2015 Pilot and an excellent Honda dealer near by, we really didn’t look hard at anything but another Pilot when it was time for a new car. Our EXL, purchased in March 2024, just turned 20,000 miles. We have had no issues with it, and the trip computer says we have averaged 27.1 mpg over the last 5500 miles. That is about 4.5 mpg better than the 2015. The good: It is extremely roomy and comfortable, even the third-row seats. We are very pleased with the fuel economy for a vehicle of this size. The headlights are the best we’ve had on any vehicle. I really like the rugged looks, especially compared the the previous generation. It’s great on snowy and slippery surfaces. The not-as-good: This is my first vehicle with all the modern safety aids. I find the lane-departure system annoying, especially in construction zones. The first time I backed out of the garage with bikes on a hitch-mounted carrier, the car automatically slammed on the brakes so hard I thought I ran into something. (Pro tip: Use tow mode when hauling bikes.) I don’t use the adaptive cruise control because it starts matching the speed of the vehicle ahead long before I would normally change lanes to pass, even with the system adjusted accordingly. However, I can’t see that future vehicles will have FEWER of these features, so I suppose I will just have to get used to them.

Definitely an upgrade of our 2017 Pilot. All black leather interior, driver memory settings. White exterior already getting good gas mileage. Haven't had this Pilot a month yet and we're still learning about all the extras. I had a Honda vehicle since 1988. Traded the old Honda in With 141,000 miles.

The Pilot car is a reliable spacious family suv. Only annoyance is the lane assist appears to be too sensitive especially when driving windy 2 lane roads. Suggest change factory tires for snow driving as opposed to CR-V that held better on standard tires. Only minor complaints vehicle is a good pick.
