I was in and out within just three hours, which was a pleasant surprise! The sales team was incredibly friendly and not pushy at all, making the whole process much more enjoyable. If you can put up with it's ridiculously small interior, this car is great--it runs well (I have over 300K miles on it now), even though repairs are a little costly when they are finally needed, and it gets on down the road REALLY well!

I have a Honda civic and a Honda CRV along with my 2002 Honda S2000. And I have to say with 158k miles on my S2000, it is the most reliable out of all 3 of my cars. All I do is regular maintenance, change oil, tires, battery..I drive it hard sometimes because this unique racecar for the streets requires it. 9,000 RPM's in this car is like 6,000 RPM's in my civic and 5,000 RPM's in my CRV and I should note that all 3 of my cars have a manual transmission. I don't know quite what Honda did with the S2000 but the engine in it, the F20C is extremely reliable, and I use to have a 94 RX7 and loved it but it was the opposite of my S2000 when it came to reliability but the drivability was about the same so if there was a car I would describe as close to the Honda it would be the 90's RX7..

Drive this car if you are a driving enthusiast. Drive this car if you are a performance purist. The S was built for a single purpose: The sheer joy of spirited, performance driving. One can only drive it to understand truly all that's been written about this machine. It's all true. Two things I know for certain about the S: The car has limits that I am simply not good enough to reach. Secondly, I've parted with a whole lot of cars, but this one stays with me forever. I initially thought "my number" was $30K - I'd sell for $30K. Not anymore. I wouldn't part with my 2001 Indy/Spa Yellow S with 21,672 miles for any amount of money, ever. I love to drive and am pretty good at it and this is a driver's car if there ever was one to hold that title. Again, drive an S and you'll know. BUT, before you drive one, make sure you know how you will pay for it...as you will want to buy one. This is a race car when in the hands of someone who knows how to push a car like this. It is NOT for the novice driver. Take your mind off what you are doing and what you are driving and things can go sideways in a flash, yet this is exactly what makes this such a phenomenal performance machine. And know this: at 6,000 RPM, the car becomes a wide open thrill. Just be ready and if you are, the pure enjoyment is simply unmatched. All Hail the S...

Although we did not get approved there’s no fault of theirs. They worked with us and tried everything possible. if they could get us financed, I’d be on my way there now.

This is my second S2000 , after we retired my wife said go get one , took awhile but finally found an 2004 with 40,000 on her , all I can say , just drive it you’ll love as I do , I won’t be selling this one going to my son after I kick the bucket.

Great handling, performance, and reliability. A true drivers car with great road feel. Rear Wheel Drive, 50/50 Weight Distribution, the highest HP per Liter production engine for several years until the venerable Ferrari 458 Italia was produced, and 2800 lbs of JDM Royalty.

They have nice cars and are easy to work with. I recommend them for cars that have a bit of personality for sure.

This car is ridiculously fun to drive. The transmission has been hailed as the best stock transmission ever. This is my second one and I may buy a third when my finances improve. Only takes one test drive! Try one.

The Honda S2000 has become a modern classic. It has timeless performance and style. This is arguably Honda's best production vehicle ever and best distills what Honda used to stand for. The Honda S2000 is an amazing, engaging, reliable sports car packaged around a gem of an engine. Can be daily driven as the clutch, shifter, and all controls in general operate with perfect, traditional Honda feel and ergonomics.

The service dept is friendly, helpful, provides great customer service. My maintenance was quickly and efficiently performed. The rep that checked me in for my appointment printed out my service plan as I couldn't locate the copy from purchase.

Love driving this car when in top condition. It has amazing acceleration for just being an inline 4 and excellent at handling curves. The mid-engine design really helps with the cornering and handling of the car. I would much prefer to have this car in a warmer on average climate so I could drive it year round. The only real downsides I have with it is the basic ness the options are. You have almost nothing but it was designed like that so it could hold you and drive you without the need of options but it would be nice to have certain features. It is a '00 which would make most current options non-existent at the time but somethings would have been nice. But other than features, it is amazing to drive but the winter/rain driving is horrendous or non-existent, to advise against.

If you’re in the market for a affordable roadster/sports car, strongly consider looking for an S2000 with low miles and good shape and you’ll likely be more satisfied with it than even the highest level of trim on the newest MX-5, if your priorities are performance and driving experience. I’m 6’0 and 200 pounds and it’s a little tight getting in and out but it’s a comfortable drive and my knees don’t hit the dash or the steering wheel. There’s no telescoping steering wheel which is bizarre considering this was available in the early 90s for many cars. It’s admittedly a small car, which is great if that’s what you want, but for most people it wouldn’t be the greatest commuter or traveling car. But if you’re looking for an S2000 then that probably doesn’t matter to you. Low mile S2000s are at a good price right now and I’d say it’s a good time to start looking before they start becoming less common. Keep in mind there are no cupholders, limited tech, and limited storage space, but again, I doubt anyone looking for an S2000 is worried about these things. Great little car for the price, just fast enough to be an absolute joy to drive, and an eye-catcher for sure.

Probably the best car ever made. When I was considering "My Reward" I checked out a lot for cars. It came down to a practical decision. Yes, believe me, it was a practical decision to buy a car that many say is not practical. If your looking to haul a useful amount of lumber, drive in heavy traffic, drive in inclement weather and other such nonsense, though it can be done, you may not consider this car practical. You'd be charged with blasphemy by many for trying to do so anyway. What I considered in my decision. Number one the car was for me, not everyone else. Most people do not know what this car is when they see it, but, they do love it. I could have bought anything I wanted. I was considering a Jag, Vet, Camaro, Mustang, Mercedes, Beemer, Porsche, Ferrari amongst others. With all these choices why did I buy the S? Back to my first statement the car was for me, not anyone/everyone else. I bought this as a "Reward". I work hard for my money. I'm a practical, value orientated person. I'm very busy, loaded up with responsibilities. I wanted a toy, a serious toy. One that I could play with, play hard with and not end up under it, over it, wasting my valuable time fixing it. RELIABILITY, CHECK. It's a toy, it should be fun. Fast, quick, nimble, surefooted, all those things you may consider fun. While I'm here let's speak to fast. It is fast but if you want to do quarter mile stuff, race long straights, etc your likely gonna get beat. But in the twisties, the tight ones, all those other cars will get in your way. I had a Carrera in my way in some nice twisties. In the straights he'd run away but hit the curves and he was in my way. FUN, CHECK. GAS MILEAGE, CHECK. It's great. Comfort. I don't know why many here have marked it as only four of five? I'm 5'11'', about 200 lbs, no issues. Long drives your gonna wanna stretch but I do that in any car on a long drive... The wife loves it and she hates long drives... I've known guys 6'2'' and heavier guys too that drove and enjoyed the cars. COMFORT, CHECK. I've known people that daily drive their S2Ks. I've referred to the S as "The Civic From xxxx!" It's as reliable, no more reliable than a Civic. It has all the aforementioned attributes. So to me, PRACTICAL, CHECK. And how did I not mention it's a convertible! With air conditioning to boot for those hot muggy days. With all this considered it was a no brainer. Wish I had bought several as these are now an investment in addition to all their other qualities. How could you go wrong... The cars a 2006 that I bought new. Last fall, 2019, I replaced the OEM battery. The battery was still good but getting weak. No other problems or issues. Nothing.

This car was not in the best shape at first but I changed all that for myself. I updated the things that it needed to extend its life. And now I'm sad to let it go. Only because I have some important things I need to take care of. But, I will get another one for sure in the near future. For now I have to say goodbye to a good well friend.

I have owned and driven many performance, luxury and sports cars in my days. Never could you find a car that incorporated all aspects of what cars can be until Honda made the S2000. To drive the S2000 will just blow you away. You come away saying wow, how can that be. You haven't driven til you have driven this. Of the S2000 stable, and I've driven them all, the 2006 model is the best in regards to balance of performance and luxury while retaining raw sports car qualities. The differences from the ten model years, 2000 to 2009, in some cases is subtle but the 06 has the best balance which makes it the best of the run.

No pressure or stress. They did try to hide a 1500.00 monitoring device in the sale price which I refused to by. Also tried to offer me financing with an inflated interest rate. Fortunately I had already arranged for my own pre-approved financinh.

Pure example of a sports car. Andrenalin is there, excellent v-tec sound. Revving to 9.000 rpm, rear wheel drive. Everything you need in a sports car. Bhp not impressive for today’s standards but anyway my moto for s2000 is ‘not how fast you go but how you go fast’

Short Story: These guys are the real deal and exemplify what used car dealerships should be. Long Story: Myself (fellow salesman 7+ years) and my father (mechanic 30 years) are probably the most difficult customers to deal with when it comes to buying cars. Kevin and Dan "put up with us" :) and aided us throughout the entire buying process, as I was buying out of state and had been burned by used car dealers before. Yes, every dealer has some sort of "fees" (certification/documentation), but BOTH were lower than the local BMW dealership as I have both quotes in front of me as I am writing this. (In reference to the few negative reviews): If you cannot figure out that "$2,000 down" or "$2,000 trade-in" will show you a different sales price than the bottom line of the vehicle, y'all need to do more homework. If you have any questions JUST ASK, they are beyond honest and I look forward to purchasing from them again. Their honesty made me feel secure and confident in my purchase. - C

I've owned 3 Honda s2000's over my lifetime and each time I get to own one of these amazing vehicles I feel like a kid in a candy store. The s2000 is timeless, extremely stylish, sport, handles amazing, and best of all its low low maintenance. I find myself lowing the top and just enjoying the sun as much as I can. There arent many cars out there that are affordable and put a smile on your face each time you drive it, but the s2000 definitely is one of those cars. If you are someone who hasnt experienced this type of vehicle in your lifetime, what are you waiting for?

Excellent oil change quickly done min of fuss or waiting; coupon was a great bonus. We will be back as needed for trans service or brake fluid service.

love driving this car, very good 6 speed which pulls strong in 2nd and 3rd gear especially, but cruising at 85 in 6th is fun at low RPM, but you can slow to 50 without downshifting. Seats are very comfortable and top down driving is a joy with no buffeting or other annoyances. 3 things I don’t like 1 the factory convertible top has a flaw in design which results in tears in the fabric at the arc above windows. 2. The headlight and tail lights are expensive modular assemblies, you can’t just replace the clouded headlight cover or the same lucite cover on the tail light. You must replace each unit at about $659 a piece. 3. Run flat tires that are not repairable. When the current tires need replacing I’ll switch back to a good convention tire and use one of the run flats as a spare. The A/C is strong and I to have it on when I have the top down on a hot Texas Day

An amazing driving machine. One of a kind. Truly, truly a driver's car. I've yet to push this car to cornering/handling limits, as I am frankly not good enough yet with this car and I've logged almost 4,600 enthusiastically spirited miles since I acquired in July of 2018. A sports car built to be only a sports car by a company that builds nothing but quality and reliable automobiles. Mine is unmolested, and as indicated, performs at a level that pushes MY limits direct from the factory. Amazing. There are other sports cars, sure, but this car was designed for the driver, the one who craves the twists and turns and corners, and who desires to feel the essence of spirited driving. I can't tell which is the best aspect of this dream car: The 240 HP 2.0, the 6-speed box, the stiff and sticky suspension tuning, or the stopping prowess. It really is hard to describe the driving experience. One must drive an S to "get it". Just make sure you've got the money plan in place before you do. And I've owned and driven my share of "sports" cars. I will never part with this car and family has been instructed of the same.
