I have the TrailSport and I tow a 3000lb camper. Positives: 1. Ruggedness. I have off road tires and steel plate. I don’t plan to rock climb but camping and exploring often comes with bad roads and if your family is with you, this three row is superbly equipped and capable. 2. Comfort. The Trailsport is tuned off road but what a nice cushy ride without a lot of truck-like bounce. Potholes barely disturb it. 3. Layout. Really easy to jump in and drive away. I did not need a two-hour class at the dealership. A good blend of old and new. Not to hard to get into the menu to reset seats and few other things. 4. Towing. I towed 3000lb at 75mph with no problem. It was steady, tracked well and with the trailer brake (added on) it stopped just fine and gas mileage was great at about 13-14mpg loaded up. I was as high as 11,000 feet. It’s really a great all purpose family vehicle to tow the camper or boats. Negatives: 1. Solid black vinyl interior. You only get black and it gets hot as xxxx if it’s in the sun with a window down or door open. You cannot get ventilated seats. Honda, seriously, add another lighter color. 2. You cannot get a bench middle seat which I prefer and is in ALL the other Pilots. 3. Speed. The power is good but it’s geared for off road and towing so really it’s a neutral but it will not take off like lots of others unless you press the pedal pretty hard. It’s not lacking, just takes more pedal travel. Overall, I love it as a good value for the money, well equipped with the 360 cameras I love and tows and does dirt roads well. I would NOT get this model for soccer team suburban duty but if you do real SUV things then it’s hard to beat. I am also not afraid of future expensive repairs being a Honda with a tried and true engine.

Waited to give an honest review. 4 years later, I know have 109,000 miles on my 2020 Pilot Tour. The bad: It developed the known crackle sound coming from the speakers. This was fixed under warranty twice. The second time not coming back and has been fine. The looks are "meh". My wife's Nissan of similar trim level has a far nicer interior and much fancier seats. On curves the "warning" light flashes on my dash and the steering wheel shakes sometimes if a car is coming from the other direction. It's annoying, but I hear a problem for many manufacturers with these safety features, not just Honda. The Good: I consider my Pilot practical. It does everything well, just not flashy. My previous car was a 2012 Honda Pilot that I put 190,000 trouble free miles on. This Pilot with an updated transmission feels MUCH quicker. It is much easier to drive. It handles well, averages around 24 mpg on my commute (non expressway), and has been trouble free outside of the speaker issue. It hauls the family well, with lots of room, especially if the 3rd row is not used. I put on the dealer installed trans cooler and trailer hitch to tow a couple of waverunners, which it hauls easily. If you can get past the "ok" styling, it is a car that does everything well and my reliability has been very, very good so far.

After almost 180,000 trouble-free miles with our 2015 Pilot and an excellent Honda dealer near by, we really didn’t look hard at anything but another Pilot when it was time for a new car. Our EXL, purchased in March 2024, just turned 20,000 miles. We have had no issues with it, and the trip computer says we have averaged 27.1 mpg over the last 5500 miles. That is about 4.5 mpg better than the 2015. The good: It is extremely roomy and comfortable, even the third-row seats. We are very pleased with the fuel economy for a vehicle of this size. The headlights are the best we’ve had on any vehicle. I really like the rugged looks, especially compared the the previous generation. It’s great on snowy and slippery surfaces. The not-as-good: This is my first vehicle with all the modern safety aids. I find the lane-departure system annoying, especially in construction zones. The first time I backed out of the garage with bikes on a hitch-mounted carrier, the car automatically slammed on the brakes so hard I thought I ran into something. (Pro tip: Use tow mode when hauling bikes.) I don’t use the adaptive cruise control because it starts matching the speed of the vehicle ahead long before I would normally change lanes to pass, even with the system adjusted accordingly. However, I can’t see that future vehicles will have FEWER of these features, so I suppose I will just have to get used to them.

I visited the Honda dealership in Kingwood twice in one week, and on both occasions I was not acknowledged. No one greeted me with a simple ?We?ll be right with you? or asked who my service advisor was. Several staff members who were not with a customer looked at me but did not offer assistance. I finally approached Jesse Ybarra, who was not my assigned advisor but has known me from my many years as a customer, and he was willing to assist me. I appreciate Jesse?s professionalism, but the lack of basic acknowledgment from the rest of the staff was very disappointing.

My CR-V EXL is outstanding overall. It was a little pricy but worth it so far. I have over 11,000 miles on it in a little over a year.

Let’s start off with what went bad. I purchased a 2016 ‘Vette and less than 24 hours later the AC went out. To my dismay, I DID NOT purchase an extended warranty. Now, onto the rest of the experience. The team at Emmons Autoplex took complete care of me. They almost had to replace an entire AC system in order to fix the issue at no cost to me other than the time and gas it took to get there. The car was in immaculate physical condition, and was the cheapest C7 corvette within 100 miles. Kevin handled the no pressure, no hassle sale like a champ and the service team took care of the rest of the issues. The general manager even offered to completely scrub the deal if they could not complete the repairs. Overall, it was a great experience and instilled confidence in the organization as a whole on how they would handle business in the future. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Emmons Autoplex.

Great vehicle. Really like everything about it. It has all the safety features a vehicle could have, making it safe to drive. It has just enough power and gets great gas mileage. It offers reliability with the Honda name. Comfortable with plenty of seating!

I bought my wife a 2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer RS. My salesman Jared was an absolute god send. He didnt pressure anything and made my wife and I very comfortable during the purchase. My wife is happy and thats all tgat matters. Rad in finance was a pleasure to work with and very informative. He was able to help me lick my wounds hahaha. Just kidding. OVERVIEW: Found this used 2019 Pilot Touring with AWD, and 8 Passenger seating. It was in great condition. Exterior and interior colors were exactly what we wanted. Purchased it with aobut 74,500 miles on it, newish tires, roof rack rails (great for mounting a backback). Clean carfax. Overall, I'm super glad we got it. We hope we get 200k miles or more out of this Pilot just like we got on the old one The drivetrain is smooth and provides enough power to move us when all 8 seats are used. Lots of comfort and tech features came with this one. DRIVING: Very smooth transmission shifts. No gear hunting issues with the transmission like those reported on the earlier models, especially on the 2016. Feels more luxurious than sport which for us and the family, it's great. Plenty of power for a family hauler. You can use the paddle shifters in Sport mode. 4 AWD drive modes - Normal, Snow, Mud, and Sand. COMFORT: It's super quiet inside compared to the 2011 model. Not as much road or wind noise like our old Pilot. The steering and suspension handles the road nicely, especially on our crappy California pothole-filled roadways. Lots of room. Nice leather seating with ample leg room. Feels a little bigger than our 2011 Pilot. Kids confirmed it feels a little bigger. Front and middle row heated seats are great! Adjustable armrests for front driver and passenger give good support. Plenty of leg room in 2nd row. Small adults and large kids in the 3rd row will be fine. Feels roomier than the 2011. Lots of cup holders. Seats are easy to move and adjust. Single push buttons to move the middle seats forward to get in and out of the 3rd row seats! Easy to flatten them as well to give you room to haul stuff. Rear door sunshades are included in this trim as well. Sunroof with tilt comes with this model, too. Entertainment and Technology: The entertainment system is really nice. 8in touch screen with Apple CarPlay (Android Auto as well) is excellent. Love how GPS displays on the screen while having the ability to have other apps open on the phone. 10 Speakers sound great. The multiple information dashboard can be customized. Looks sleek. The screen is big, bright, colorful and I set mine to show the tripometer information - miles driven, MPG, and range. You have other options - Nav, AWD torque distribution, entertainment info, etc. Outside temp, ECON mode, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keep Assist System, safety systems, and other indicators are on-screen. Rear entertainment system has yet to be tested but it can play Blu-Ray discs and has an HDMI port and AC plug for another input source. Comes with 2 wireless headsets and a remote control as well. So far, we found 4 USB charging ports. There are lighter ports available as well in case you need more power. Can't wait to figure out CabinTalk when we go on a road trip. You can communicate both ways with the rear passengers using the internal mics, speakers, and Rear entertainment headsets. The motorized rear tailgate with hands-free kick motion open and close is nice to have as well. Keyless entry system with auto-unlock and walkaway auto-locking features are included as well. Remote start is also included with the Touring trim. Safety: Bright LED headlights and well-designed daytime running lights. Auto high-beam LED headlights were a nice surprise.The Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane-Keep Assist are freakily awesome. Keep your hands on the wheel though because it's not perfect. The camera and sensors can get confused. But they're good to have for safety and driving assist, especially on long rides on open highways. Blindspot monitoring, rear cross-traffic sensing, and parking sensors are included and help in those situations. I always disable the collision mitigation feature due to potential problems with the system potentially braking at wrong and dangerous times.

I have always had a good experience, never had any issues with them, they work quickly and do good work, the technician sends you a video from the multi-point inspection

Except for the engine stopping at a light (which you have to press a button each time you start the vehicle), the Passport is roomy, comfy, better gas mileage for around town driving at 21 than my 6 year old 4runner (which is a heavier vehicle). Still trying to get used to all the bells and whistles and how to program them to my choices. The drivers manual is cumbersome and full of all the child tether info which is good for many but n/a for me. This is a base RTL with trailer hitch model. Would prefer it had a rear window that rolled down on hatch. Loving the remote pulldown and opening of the hatch. Never bother with the foot kick opening. And it is a V6!!!!!

Very happy with my HR-V sport model. Exterior design of the car is very nice Interior is a little small with not much room for storing things. Would not recommend this car to avery large person but for a smaller individual it is perfect, Runs well, has more pick up than I thought it would have. Based on only been driving it for 3 weeks I do recommend it.

This car is a big step up from a Nissan Altima. Lots of space and the ride is smooth. The engine is a bit noisy when idle(clicking noise from the direct injection), and there's also a drone sound when acceleratinf beyond 60mph(not sure if this could be cause of the new tires or not), but other than those noises, it's a smooth machine!

First time experiencing the service department and was blown away not only by the price but the customer service was top notch! Best kept secret in Kingwood is getting out!! Stellar!!

Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

No complaints overall on performance and durability. Only drawbacks is road noise. If you like to avoid road noise, this car is not for you. noise is too much than expected. i even went to Honda dealer to report noise, they replied me this is normal honda noise.

This is the first Honda I have ever owned and will likely be the last as I expect it to out live me lol. We travel back and too from North Georgia to SW Florida and the car is so comfortable that I make the drive in one day. We get good gas mileage and the Pilot is a nice looking car with plenty of power.
