Auto hold light and suspension light steady. Was told that the sensors need replacing at 4200.00. It happens intermittent, but scared to drive it for fear of breaks locking up, only has 65k miles. Great car

This Equus is my favorite car I've ever owned. I purchase a used 2011 ultimate and have put 100k problem free additional miles over the 30k it had when I bought it. I am currently in the process of buying a newer 2016 model. You will not find a nicer car anywhere close to its price range. I read the seating is cramped for Taller drivers. I'm 6 feet and have all the room I want. This car is amazingly quiet and smooth on the highway. The only negative I found on my 2011 ultimate is that I can't stream from my phone to the radio. I had to plug a wireless adapter in to the auxiliary port for streaming.

I first saw this car in December of 2012 during my layover in Seoul Korea on my way to Manilla. My flight was cancelled and the airlines put me up in a hotel and sent the 2011 version with a driver to pick me up. I had use of the car until 8 a.m. the next morning, and I have been in love with it ever since. It is comparable to all the major luxury brands (Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, Audi, etc.) without the high price tag. There are no details left out of this car and it drives like the dream she is, power, agility, and luxury all in one for under $20K.

I was interested in a suv I called on a regular to ask questions and got answers Charlie was very helpful he seemed to be pretty honest I went there from Washington DC to see the vehicle but didn’t have time to really check it out when I drove it I felt a little vibration and was told it was the tires because it had been sitting so I decided to pass because it wasn’t a warranty and I had to get back to DC didn’t want to take any chances otherwise I had a good experience dealing with Charlie I just wish I could’ve had more time to check it out if I can get someone to go back to check it out I might go back to buy it or if they would put new tires on it to assure me that it’s just the tires one other thing I had to find a bank to purchase a cashiers check because they didn’t finance out of state that was what took up a lot of my time I’d also like to say I wasn’t pressured in any kinda way like big dealers Charlie was very patient

It’s gorgeous and powerful with a ride that rivals the best of the best. Interior comfort is limousine quality. Overall an excellent choice. Better than our Mercedes

I was going to buy a newer one but hey this one still runs great. If you’re thinking about buying one remember, you have a lot of horses and you have to feed em.

The vehicle is nimble with a performance that in par with most high end European and American high performance vehicles. The engine and transmission are solidly built. For such a large car, the gas mileage for normal driving is very decent with me averaging 15 to 17 mpg in local/city driving and 24 mpg driving at 80 MPH on the expressway with my A/C blowing. When driving on the expressway, I can go over 400 miles on a tank full of premium fuel with a couple of gallons remaining in the tank. The ongoing defects found however are in the interior trimmings that are proven very expensive to repair. The interior leather, especially the dashboard cover has the tendency to shrink under the hot florida sun. Such repair will set the owner back about $5,000 if the repair is to be done out of warranty by the dealer as most car reupholsterers will not do the repair due to the intricate difficulties involved. Also the hinge of the center rear seat entertainment system breaks off easily and the repair can range in price from $800.00 to 1200.00. Also, another common problem has to do with the adaptive cruise control that, at times, will disengage. Although the above issues appear as manufacturing defects, Hyundai will not honor such for repair once the car is out of warranty. I would recommend this car to a friend but would strongly advise the buyer to carefully check the above mentioned-issues carefully before buying.

Purchased used in 2019 with 74000 miles. Great car with exception of air ride. Had purchased warranty. After 1 year + and over $6000.00 in repair cost the local Equus dealers service manager finally told me “ we don’t know how to fix it”. I found after market suspension (conventional), had my mechanic install and been great ever sense. When the air ride worked it was great. When it failed it would knock your fillings out. Boos to Hyundai for not stepping up to the plate on this.

This vehicle has all the bells/whistles anyone would want in a luxury class vehicle. I own a Genesis and now the Equus. Both, I love however, the Equus is on a whole other level. Price you can't beat in comparison to its competitors. The ride is superior to none, and the Lexicon stereo system hands-down is the absolute best. The power of the V8 engine is exhilarating and smooth. Don't sleep on the Equus. Trust me, your money will be well spent.

This is an awesome vehicle. Packed with features. Stylish. Incredible “pick up”. Gets noticed wherever I go. Incredibly comfortable whether you’re the driver or a passenger. Hyundai hit a home run with this car. The Genesis series isn’t as good looking. They may have more technology because they are newer but the Equus is definitely classier. It’s only issues are “1970’s gas mileage around town 12-13 MPG but cruising on the highway I get around 27-30 MPG. Unfortunately in the snow it’s TERRIBLE!!!! Don’t believe those YouTube videos. Even with snow tires the traction is bad. It’s a southern states car for sure. For the money you can’t beat the value. I bought a 2015 Ultimate with 36K miles from a dealership for 35K I’ve owned Lincoln’s for the past 20 years I’ll NEVER go back

I love our Equus Ultimate. People are asking me all the time "You have a beautiful car! What make is it?" Is it a Mercedes, Rolls Royce (because of the emblem) I tell them an Equus and made by Hyundai. People are amazed. they never has seen one before.

This place was absolutely wonderful. Bought a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta in great condition for a good price. The staff were accommodating, kind, and helpful. The manager even drove us to the bank because we didn’t have a car, very helpful and willing to negotiate on price. Can’t account for the negative reviews, but I definitely recommend these guys.

Bought a 2011 Equus Ultimate in 2019 with 34500 miles. This car has been a dream to drive. It has a strong engine, quiet and great handling. It drinks gas when I drive it hard and the Equus responds beautifully in sports mode. I bought the extended warranty because of the age of the car, but the quality built into the car is outstanding.

When looking for a reasonably priced used cars I was so excited when I ran across 518 Auto Sales and the large selection of cars they had!!! The staff including Alex, Wendy, Kyle and Scott were awesome and made me feel right at home!! I will spread the word about this place!!!

Great car. Lots of power in a 429 HP V8. Best value in a luxury car found. Nice car. I bought a pre owned for under $20K that was clean aND then more clean. The wife has now confiscated the Equus. GREAT trip car and 17 speakers make for good concert sound . The pre owned market for these cars are a steal. Really. Do the math on depreciation of the vehicle with 1st owner then 2nd owner and the difference is so in favor on the 2nd owner. Huge.

This is a very well built luxury car. It has met and passed my expectations. I was not looking for this car, but after testing driving a few Lexus 460’s and other luxury cars and the price they wanted. The Equus is right there if not better than the cars I test drove in my opinion
