Great experience with Marco, he was extremely helpful and very polite. He did not pressure me at all, and made the process a really pleasant one. I purchased a new jeep and I am very pleased with it! He took the time to go over everything on the car and did a great job explaining how all of the options worked. I would recommend that you ask for Marco if you visit Landmark South, he will take care of you the way a car salesman should. Thanks for being a gentleman and not a pushy car salesman, it pays off.

When I purchased this car with 60,000 miles on it over 12 years ago, I had no idea I would fall in love. A lifelong truck or van owner, this purchase met my needs for a more car-like vehicle to tote around more than 1 passenger. It sits up high like a truck but has the interior comforts of a somewhat plush car - great sound system, super comfortable seats, and common sense ergonomics for the driver. Currently clocking in at just over 240,000 miles, this car has never let me down. If they still made these, I'd buy another one today.
Blair does not stand by the vehicle he sold me. The transmission needed repairing, and he said everything else was fine. I've had check engine light after check engine light. Failed sensors. The transmission after his friend's rebuild shifts like crap. Tried to get help under his 6 month guarantee on the transmission, but he told me not to contact his friend. He did everything he could to prevent me signing up for additional warranties. When I contact him for help he says it's an as-is sale and i'm SOL outta luck.

I love everything about this car, the handling is great, it it dependable, looks great inside out. this car hauls my pets to vet, my groceries every week, my items i buy at yard sales(my hobbie), all my other shopping oh so easy. there is so much room in the back, and when you let the back seats down such room.
Great service!! Not pushy!! I will be back for my next vehicle. I highly recommend working with Mr Livingston. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions
I own a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo 2.2

Just like I said in the head line I own a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo 2.2 not a v6 but that is all they display it's upsetting when you look up the information on how much it gets on gas mileage it just says for a 3.5 again upsetting it's like that's all they make is the 3.5 disappointment to cars.com and anyone that just think about the v6 model
Friendly experience and never pushes me away if I don't make a appointment. Recommended what my car needs by the book no scarce technics. Also fixes my car in reasonable circumstances never wait to long.

Bought with 48,000 miles in 2008 for $9000. Had 204,000 on it when I traded it in. Never had a problem with it. Would love to have a brand new one just like it.
We were in the market for a mini-van. We came across a price that could not be real for the vehicle being advertised. They simply beat everyone. After speaking with John, we drove 4 hours. The customer service was great and they stood behind what was advertised. Excellent experience.
One of the best vehicles Ive owned

I bought this thing in 1995 with 22k miles. It currently has 242k miles and doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing down. I bought it to transport light geology equipment into the hills. It's handled all kinds of climbs, frequent long road trips, as well as carrying my family.
The GM engine is nearly bullet proof and relatively simple to work on. Ive never had anything major wrong with it, just stuff that typically goes out on a vehicle. I replaced the radiator, water pump, clutch and ball joints. Its not a power house, and I wish it got better mileage, but this thing has run strong for 25 years.

Long time owner

I’m the original owner of a 98 Rodeo (18 years now), and I’ve been quite happy with it. There has been some repairs along the way, but these items were typically wear oriented ’ IE: limited slip clutch pack, starter solenoid, etc. I’ve managed to perform most of the repairs myself and the vehicle is not to hard to work on. Bought the Rodeo shop manual with the vehicle.
I like the Rodeo for its size and capability. There are not many vehicles in this size that are; body on frame, comfortably seat 4, can tow 5000lbs, and not take up much space in the garage. The 4:30 differential is wonderful for my 17’ travel trailer.
In my younger days I even went bush whacking with it and it performed well. Got me out of some places I should not have gone.
In the winter I do wish it had an iron block as it cools off so quick, but I manage by completely sealing the front. Ride is a little stiff as I think the suspension is overbuilt. Cargo volume is good, roof rack is strong. I have a manual transmission, and here on the highway once the cruise is set, speed hardly changes ’ no matter how steep the hills.
I recently purchased a vehicle through Dave Solon Nissan and had a great easy process even though a majority of it was through the phone and over the Internet, the guys at Dave Solon Nissan (Jay and Zach especially) did everything they could and got the job done and I got a new Jeep, very happy with them!!
Consumer Reports Got This One Wrong

I still see plenty of Isuzu Rodeos around. I liked my 98 Rodeo 5 speed manual so much I bought 2 between 2002 & 2015. The car is solid, safe and is great for moving furniture, or kids. Mileage averaged 20 city to 24 highway. Very reliable although I cannot attest to the automatics. I can only assume the automatic is the reason for leading the list of cars NOT to buy. The manual is fantastic though a little slow to get warm in a mid-Atlantic winter. I put heated sheepskin covers on my seats which helped. The other flaw was having to remove & store rear headrests when the back was in cargo mode, small potatoes in the long run. Overall a great bargain if you can find one!
Purchasing my vehicle from Gil Auto Sales, Inc. was excellent. The entire purchasing transaction was great. There was no long waiting periods This auto dealership have modern vehicles for those who are looking for a vehicle without high car payments. It's like you almost determine your own monthly vehicle payments.

This model is prone to severe rusting under the rear bumper I be seen 3 separate vehicles with it rusted all the way through in that specific area to the point the bumper falls off.
Dealership is so great bought another car from them, love this place, very accommodating, bring CASH for the best deal.

I had a 2002 Izuzu Rodeo LS 4X4. The 3.2 liter v6 is a little bit underpowered. Mine was in good condition when I sold it. The beutiful green paint never faded or didn't shine. You might ask why did you sell it even know I liked it? Well, I'm an idiot and wasn't paying attention when I Plowed into the back of a semi truck and totaled it. I walked away from the crash unharmed. That just shows you that they're very safe. Otherwise, I loved my Rodeo and I'm going to get another one. You should get one too. It just might save your life like mine did.
Courteous, Helpful, and kept in contact through the process. So far the best used car experience I have ever had. Cannot recommend them enough.

My grandparents bought a 3.2L V6 4x4 rodeo new in 95 and it has been in the family since. It has always run great. Never has given any major mechanical problems. But its underbody does seem a bit susceptible to rusting. Other than that it is a great car with a powerful engine and great go anywhere do anything capabilities.
This is my first car. I wasn't interested in a bigger car since it seemed like it would be a pain to drive. I love it BUT it does have issues that need to be fixed that are inconvenient and make my parents worry. I bought it for $2,500 so naturally I expected problems, and some of them I don't mind. When I bought it the driver side door wouldn't open from the outside, but I somehow fixed it. The main problem is that it has a turn on problem. So far no one knows what the issue is except that it's electrical, and it's often a pain when I turn off the car to stop for gas or the store. It needs to be fixed and could end up costing a lot of money to fix. So far it will turn on if I let it cool so it's a matter of waiting for the car to cool down, but still. It usually handles the highway very well, but I have had the transmission light come on and off at high speeds around 70 mph when trying to shift(I think). It was fixed once before for awhile by my dad when he noticed something wasn't on fully beneath my shifter, so I'm hoping it's just that. I really love this car, and from what I understand I just got unlucky with the car itself.
The staff here are best in their field in car sales and part knowledge. Best selection for buying a repairable car, truck , suv .

I have had my Rodeo for 4 yrs and put over 60K very hard miles on it. I work in the mountains of N.California and my truck has seen a lot of severe weather and misc. conditions. It has only failed me once and that was when the alternator went out. It has over 185k miles currently and still runs gr8. I just bought my wife a 97 Trooper. Before I got my Rodeo I only bought GM trucks. I am now forever an Isuzu fan. I just wish they still made passenger vehicles in the US.
Rob was amazing! By far the best car salesman I've ever had. He was knowledgable, accommodating, not pushy in the least, professional and friendly. He's a hard working veteran, who will work hard to get you a great deal. Be sure to ask for Rob if you want the best car shopping experience!

It was one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Low cost maintenance, reliable and nice design inside and out.
The customer service was pretty good, and the prices were fair. They were willing to negotiate. If I wanted to view a car someone would escort me or at least point me in the right direction

Owned my '01 Rodeo LS for 9 years and 120k miles. Very little maintenance required over those years. Handled snowy roads and high mountain trails like a champ. It's a shame they stopped making them after '04.
