Once we had decided this car was the one, we talked price and he openly showed us how his car was priced compared to the local market to ensure we knew we were getting a fair deal, again, super refreshing. Deal done and he took the time to go through all the paper work and found us fantastic deal on the finance then before we knew it we were on the road in our new car, he even gave it another quick wash before we left. It's rare to find a car buying experience like this and someone that will be open and honest about your car of choice. I purchased this car about 6 years ago (5.0 n/a XK). From a design perspective, it still holds up and looks modern. I actually like the looks of the base models as they don't have all of the side skirts and aero that change the lines of the original design a bit. The front was slightly redesigned in 2012 and looks a little more aggressive. Performance is great, end the sound of the engine when you get on the gas is addictive. Heated/Cooled seats with 16 way adjustments are great. Back seat is good for some soft luggage. I don't put a lot of miles on the car, but besides yearly oil changes my main cost has been tires. The 20" wheels & tires on this car look great... but stay away from potholes if you can. If you can get the car with 19" wheels... do it... they have some more sidewall. I've replaced both front tires due to pothole hits splitting the sidewalls. If you can't get the 19s, get a road hazard plan when you buy tires. The only other complaint is the touch screen. It is very outdated and slow... only saving grace is that it supports usb mp3 playback (no bluetooth music... only calls). There is not a ton of aftermarket add ons for these cars (exhaust and wheels) and if you get into an accident in an old one, don't be surprised if your car gets totaled out for even seemingly minor damage due to the cost of aluminum body repair. I love this car for roadtrips with the wife, and weekend drives... but I have a Subaru for driving the kids and bad weather.

Got my 12 XK and absolutely love the lines. The wide hips in the rear with growl of the exhaust makes me happy. Absolutely love the car, don't care for no Bluetooth car play, but making due. 83K om the odometer and paid 12 for it, not bad. Will enjoy beefing up suspension, PowerPlant and make this egg plant colored exotic my baby!

Bought the car with 6,400 miles and it still only has 26,000 after 8 years. So far, nothing has ever gone wrong with it - very happy. Classy look that never gets old.

After searching for months, this jewel fell into my lap! I have been a "Jag" junkie since I was a kid. Everything about this car was well thought out (less the rear seats). Available driving options, comfortability, handling, and exterior design is second to none! I have the convertible version which just screams sexy! Combined 5.0 litre power plant with the factory exhaust system makes this jem an absolute pleasure to drive. I personally recommend this car to everyone.

I have owned 3 corvettes before this car and have to say, this XKR has had more head turning photos and washes than the last 5 years of miles driving summers. It is such a powerhouse and joy to drive with the top down while listening to the supercharger kick in. With its original MSRP at $105K, these represent an outstanding value in a high performance touring sports car, I have nothing but good to say about my 2010 XKR ❤️

I'm now a Jaguar enthusiast! Vroom vroom so sexy - so far all good - use great gas - lots of it lol - keep oil fresh and the mechanic says if I "listen" to the computer and STOP driving if anything comes up on that screen I'll go for 200k.

I bought my 2009 XK-S in 2014. Over the six years since then, my only outlays have been on fuel, services and tyres. The reliability, comfort, style and performance are everything I could wish for. And it makes me feel like a million dollars. Grace with pace.

I have two Jaguars. The first a 2001 XK8, I bought in 2015 from the original owner. The 2nd, a 2007 XK, I bought after the original owner traded it in to a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped to me in Alabama. Both are a similar Pacific Blue, the 07 being Indigo Blue, slightly darker. The 01 has Ivory interior, the 07 has beige. The 01 has quite a bit of recurring maintenance from a host of items that needed redesigning, which was accomplished on the 07. Everything needed was done. The big differences between the two cars is trunk space and cabin space. The 07 Cabin accommodates a taller person where the trunk on the 01 would hold a VW Beetle and easily close. I redesigned the 01 upper shock mounts and rebuilt the mounts with new polyurethane bushings that should outlast me. I have replaced them with OEM 3 times since 2015. That chirping sound you hear is the shock mounts, metal to metal chirping. Anyway, the 01 XK8 is a nice automobile that needs near constant attention. The 07 XK is a Super Luxury GT sports car that is easy to maintain and so far, bulletproof. Nothing that I have driven in it's class compares equally. Everything else has a harsher ride and are regular sports cars. I have owned Corvettes, BMW's, Acura's, Mercedes and Porsche's. None compare. So far, I've had people compliment me on my Miata (the 01) and Corvette (both the 01 & the 07)... Jaguar is a brand of only a few in my location... very rare and no one knows what it is... up close, they just can't read, I guess. The guy was staring at the Jaguar emblem when he called it the best looking Miata he had ever seen. LOL!

In house financing was needed to leave with the car, gotta be transparent with your sales people about pre approvals and what needed to get going.

Performance is unbelievable and the comfort is Stella. Best car for the money. The way this car hold the road is much better then a Corvette and a much better interior.

So I bought a low mileage 2013 car from Nine Stars Auto group from far, far away from Virginia. Kamran was a great sales person and kept me informed throughout the process. I hired a company called Pomcar to perform an inspection, which was excellent, by the way, and I would highly recommend them as well. They sent pictures of the car, tires, brakes, etc, and test drove the car. The only problem they found was a small crack on the front spoiler. I figured "heck, the car is 12 years old and if that's the only problem, that's no big deal" and planned to just have it repaired when it arrived. After the Pomcar inspection, I made a small down payment with a credit card, and Kamran sent the paperwork to be signed and arranged for transport at a very reasonable cost. As soon as the paperwork was complete, they shipped the car which arrived the next day. When I was inspecting the car after transport, I looked for the crack in the spoiler...but I couldn't find it. It was dark at the time, so I figured I just was missing it. The next day, I still couldn't find it. I texted Kamran, and asked it they had fixed it...and they HAD! I didn't ask for them to repair it or expect them to...that is ABOVE AND BEYOND! In addition, HE NOTICED the check I sent was $500 too much (I didn't take the credit card down payment into account) and refunded the difference. Again, I didn't ask for that! Sadly, you don't always get that kind of integrity from car salesmen nowadays. So I put these guys at the top of my list and would definitely use them again! Everything was super smooth and they proved themselves trustworthy and went above and beyond my expectations! Thank you Kamran!

I love the fact that Jaguar's still have a bad rap on reliability. That assures me that I can get a used one for a great price. As for the reliability... I've owned four of them now. My original Jag's an 82' and 89' although great to drive, WERE maintenance nightmares. My 2005 XK8 and now my 2014 XK are as solid as can be. I drove my 2005 until it reached 203,000 miles and only turned it in when it was totaled in an accident. My 2014 is one of the greatest touring cars in the world... PERIOD. I've owned Mercedes' (coupe), BMW's (735), Porches (911), Corvette's, etc. and NONE of them provides the driving pleasure of my Jag's AND ever since Ford took over and now Tata Motors, the reliability of my Jag's are rock solid. So keep that old reliability rap going. It will only allow me to once again get my next Jag at a reasonable price.

I purchased a 2013 XK-R with Dynamic Pack, Speed Back, and Black Pack. It's amazingly fast, best exhaust note ever, and absolutely gorgeous to look out. Why not buy an exclusive car like this? Read all the reviews. Once you drive one, you'll understand why the pro reviewers say this is the best GT car ever!

I have owned the XK for 7 years, it is my second Jaguar, and overall, it is an excellent car. The timeless design combined with the power of the normally aspirated 5.0 V8 make it a winning combination. Even after all these years I still enjoy every drive I take, weaving in and out of traffic at 90 mph effortlessly is just exhilarating. While the car has been reliable over the years it is not Japanese car reliable. An electrical issue that drains the battery has persisted throughout my ownership. If I leave it at the airport for 5 days it is fine, however, if it stays there 7 days it will not start. Yet the excellent technicians at Jaguar Central in Houston could find no fault, but that did not discourage them from charging me $300 – and to tell me there was nothing wrong with the car. So, I now just put it on the charger and when I am gone for more than 5 days I take an Uber to the airport. Incidentally, that was also the last time I took my car to the Jaguar dealership – I might as well pay less for a useless diagnosis. The engine itself has been very reliable and I do drive it hard and fast. But as I mentioned before it is not reliable in the Japanese car sense, so did have to change a seal in the crankshaft that was dripping oil. Additionally, all the control arms as well as the shock absorbers had to be changed. But this is probably more a function of the poor road conditions in Houston, rather than shoddy manufacturing. I also had to replace the roof lining as it came unglued and fell on my head – that on the other hand is shoddy manufacturing (or at the very least cheap glue) and should not happen in a car in this price category. The Achilles heel of this car is it’s cooling system. In both the XK and my wife’s XF the water pump had to be replaced. Additionally, most of the parts that feed the water pump had to be replaced within few weeks of each other. The reason is that the parts are plastic and very poor quality, so the lifespan is sort of like an iPhone battery doomed to fail. For probably a few hundred Dollars more they could have made the parts out of aluminum and the cars would have been bullet proof. If you can live with the slightly poor build quality and inept dealer support it is a magnificent car to drive.
