I've only had it a few weeks. So, can't speak to reliability. But design, inside a d out, is fabulous. Engine performance (and sound) is great. Ride is a bit more calm than I expected, which is nice since this is mostly a GT for me. But, even with that forgiveness, it is planted in corners. Great blend. I won't be doing track days, so the 450 is all I need. Value is debatable for a car/toy like this. But, I have no buyer remorse, so that says something!

I purchased my 2016 F Type R AWD last December 2022. Since then I have driven about 2000 miles without issue. I test drove everything from 911 to AMG GTS before purchasing the F Type. Lots of AWD HP without fish tailing. Can drive for hours at a time with comfort. Lots of attention, it was a little weird at first. Modification not necessary. I highly recommend.

I wanted to take this opportunity to give a "WELL Done" to Westend Lincoln Mercury. I was rear-ended a couple of months ago and my old 2007 Jeep survived, but had 253000 miles on it. Made the decision to upgrade my vehicle, but still needed to stay within my budget. Started looking for another Jeep and visited many different Dealerships around the Twin Cities Metro and soon became very disappointed with salesman and the non-caring attitude that were portrayed by these dealers. I saw a nice 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Westend Lincoln-Mercury on the internet that seemed to fit my budget. I called and talked to a gentleman named Taylor Sparks and told him that I was interested in the Jeep. I made an appointment to come up and test drive the Jeep. When I got there, Taylor had the jeep out front and it was washed and immaculately cleaned. Now we'll cut to the chase! I let Taylor know that I wanted to take a little longer test drive to get the engine/trans hot. This is typically when hidden problems will present themselves on a vehicle. Taylor went out of his way to let me test drive it as long as I needed. He did not apply any pressure to me on the vehicle, which was beautiful coming from a sales person. When we got back, the only question Taylor asked me was if I had any questions or concerns. I replied,"The only question I have is when can we start the paperwork to buy the vehicle?" If you like a real casual sales experience, without high pressure and B.S, I strongly emphasize seeing Taylor. You won't be disappointed. I'd like to send out one more "Kudos" to Gary Poff. I had a minor issue with the Jeep and talked to Gary. They did not have to help me in anyway, because I bought the Jeep "As Is". Gary listened to my concern and help me out more than I could have hoped for! The "Best" car sales experiences that I have ever had. I had a 2106 Cayman. I was hesitant about moving into a Jaguar. However after I drove the car (P300), I was convinced. It drove as well as the Cayman but has a better ride. Jaguar gives you a lot of options standard whereas Porsche charges much more. Examples: torque-vectoring, navigation and launch control- all standard. PLUS a $8000 rebate. These cars are going to disappear.

The SVR F Type is one of the best all-around sports cars I've ever owned, and I have owned quite a few very nice sports cars. This car can do everything, drag race, track days, pleasure cruises, haul $400 worth of groceries with ease, and function as an extremely fun daily-driver with ease. It can even handle light snow and ice on the road with ease given it's British weather heritage and the exceptional AWD system it has. The only thing it cant do is haul more than two people. It is VERY fast from a dig with an excellent all-wheel drive system that squats and goes like a scalded cat. My car has been modified with some performance parts including custom-built 200-cell sport cats on resonated stainless steel downpipes, a smaller crank pulley to increase boost, and an ECU and TCU tune to take advantage of that additional power. It sits now with just under 600 wheel horsepower at the tires and is nearly unbeatable in a stoplight to stoplight race against 95% of the cars you will see on the road normally, including the all-electric Tesla models below the Plaid which is very impressive. Even before it was modified it was truly a fast car straight from the factory and stock. Power delivery is excellent but particularly once in the 3200 RPM range, where it feels like you have a pair of rocket boosters kicking in and it plants your butt in the seat hard. Fit with a set of B-Forged 3-piece wheels (21x11 rears and 21x9 fronts)and larger than stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (285/35ZR21 in the front and 325/25ZR21 in the rear) the handling is superb in this car. The 20" factory tires and wheels are great as well. It corners extremely well, rotating and accelerating out of corners like it is on rails. The electronic stability and traction control are NOT too invasive, and in Dynamic mode it will let you have all the fun you could want. The 575 crank horsepower rating on this car is definitely understated, as a factory car will dyno 500 to 520 HP AT THE TIRES despite an AWD system that takes about 18% percent of the engine's output to power. The standard larger brakes that come part of the SVR package are excellent and have all the stopping power you could want. The factory titanium exhaust is so much fun on this car and makes lots of ear-pleasing noise if you are a fan of exhaust notes, pops, and bangs. They can be swapped to a quite mode if you prefer or turned on to the louder mode whenever you choose. Swapping out the factory catalytics for the 200-cell sport cats with resonators made the exhaust note sheer perfection. As far the exterior goes, this is one of the most graceful and beautiful designs of all time IMO, as well as many others. It follows the classic proportions with a low sweeping hood and nose and powerful wide and compact rear with at four wheels located as close to the corners as possible. The interior is also beautiful, and despite not having a huge infotainment system, what it does have works well, looks good, and fits with the rest of the interior. The seats are comfortable but very supportive, and even at 6 foot 4 inches tall I fit in the car very comfortably. The top option stereo is a must and sounds great with the factory subwoofers and speakers. Reliability has been superb so far. A 2017 model that just turned 20k miles, the only repairs thus far have been a broken hood latch (which was mostly my fault) and a driver's rear shock which started leaking. Both of these repaired under warranty. All in all, this is a fantastic car and everyone that has ridden or driven mine has fallen in love with it. With only 1,871 SVR's built between 2017 and 2020 in the entire world, I have no doubt that resale value will hold steady and possibly appreciate in the near future as they get more and more exposure from enthusiasts. WARNING: Do not buy one if you do not like attention. I cant remember the last time I drove mine without at least one person asking about it.

Second F Type (accident last one-also V8-current SVR 575HP vs 495 last). Best value of any sports car, except Miata. Look at power, compare to cars costing 50%-100% higher. Wonderful exhaust, although not as growly as first ( monel vs titanium).

My first two seater and I’m in love. It handles amazing, is comfortable a gorgeous sports car. Tons of fun features, a beautiful glass roof. Totally bitchin’ ride

I have owned a 2016 f-type base convertible for two years. I have owned a Porsche 911 and 944 as well as a BMW Z3 and Z4.. I liked all of them but although the Jaguar is newer it does handle and ride great. I’m older now and I like the feel of a nice sports car. The F-Type gets the looks and admiration you would expect.

The dealership is excellent, the staff very attentive. I had a great experience. They give full pricing up front with no hidden fees; none of the "dealership, manager's new boat, owner's third vacation home fees." While this is nice for transparency, it does make it difficult if you are someone who wants to negotiate your price. The staff were very low pressure, making for a pleasant experience.

An absolutely "head turning" beautiful car. This is my second F-Type R. I traded an SL550 in for a 2016 F-Type. The SL was certainly more luxurious but not nearly as much fun to drive. My only real gripe with the 2016 was the cumbersome infotainment system. It did not have voice activation and was slow in response time. The 2019 has a vastly improved unit with Apple Car Play/Android Auto and is very competitive with other manufacturer's units. The seats and interior room are fine for someone 5'10" but I think would be a little cramped for someone much over about 6'2". Only real complaint I have is the lack of storage in the cockpit. They even took out a small compartment between the seats which my 2016 had. (Not sure why) As you could expect the handling and performance from an AWD sports car with 550 HP is amazing. The ride and handling in the base configuration are firm but not too firm. If you select a more performance-oriented setup, which you can do on the fly, the car does become rough but that is to be expected. I think the value of what you get for your money is good but Jaguars in general seem to depreciate more thatnother cars in this price range. Lastly, this is my fourth Jaguar. I have owned a '67 XKE, a 2001 XKR, a 2016 F-Type R and this 2019 F-Type R. The '67 truly had some reliability issues. The old question, "Why do the British drink warm beer?" "Because their refrigerators are made by Lucas" was appropriate but the only problem I had with my last three was a fuel pump failure in the 2001 after about 5 years. Otherwise, they have been problem free. The 5-year 60K "bumper to bumper" warranty and 5 years free maintenance shows Jaguars confidence in their product and my experience says that is so. I truly love this car and with a set of winter tires the AWD makes this a year-round car.

I purchased my black on black coupe in 2005 when it had 32000 miles and have driven it sparingly. Today it has only just over 37000 and it has been almost flawless! I did have to replace a headlight washer at the dealer when I first bought it (expensive), but she hasn't been back to the dealer since. I replace the oil with Mobil 1 full synthetic every 6 months and use Sonoco 93 premuim gas. The car runs great, makes no unwanted noises, and has no rust or corrosion whatsoever. Ford did a great job with these. I also have a 2006 Mercedes SL500 and they drive very similarly with almost the same horsepower (300). I have never felt that I neded anything more. These cars are well engineered and will surely appreciate in value over time!

I've only owned my XK8 for six months, so I cannot speak to my own long-term experience, but I researched and followed these cars for four years before buying one. It's one of those cars you buy because you want one--bad. Jaguars, at their best, appeal to your heart. That doesn't mean you have to turn off your brain, though. I can say that my car was well-designed and well-built. It feels solid and tight and built to a high standard. I've owned mostly Japanese cars--Hondas, Acuras, and a Lexus, which I still own. These are not true sports cars; they are luxury GTs. That's important to note. I had a Honda S2000 before this--totally different animal. The X100 (XK8 and XKR, 1996--2006) is a heavy car--almost two tons, so even with a V8 under the bonnet, they aren't "fast" by today's measure. (The supercharged XKR is the way to go for those looking for more of that kind of thrill.) I gave my car a 5 for performance because to me it perfectly fits the bill for what it is. It's composed, quiet, and handling is capable, not corner-carving. The steering is precise but light. It does not wander on-center. The car is gorgeous inside and out, and the interior is bordering on sumptuous. The seats are the most comfortable and supportive for long trips I've ever owned, and I've had some nice cars. Mine is a Victory Edition final-year model, with the "soft-grain" leather interior. This leather is soft and supple but it wears really well. My interior looks new and my car has 52K on it. As for reconditioning and upkeep: these cars are all 20--30 years old. They will need this and that. Buy in the best condition you can find and you'll come out ahead financially over buying one that needs work. (Unless of course you're a skilled DIY.)

I took a three hour drive from CT and met up with Mike And we had a great time talking card and driving a classic Fiat!! This may have been the best experience I've ever had with a car dealership sales dept! And coming from one who's been in automotive customer survive my entire life that says a lot! If you are buying an XKE for comfort or speed look elsewhere. If you are looking for a beautiful car that will only go up in value the XKE is for you. Why would anyone spend the same amount on a new Corvette that will depreciate the second it leaves the showroom. Why spend that much on a car that is as common as a Toyota? I guess if you want to race people at the stop light then go for the Vette. If you are satisfied with only going 150n MPH in the most beautiful car ever made then the XKE is a better choice IMHO.

I found this place on google after searching for a new car for me to buy. Fortunately, the last car I bought for $17,300 was totaled (minor fender bender but airbags went off) and valued at $19,200 by insurance, meaning I had a good chunk towards a different car. I emailed Jasin about this 2016 X5 50i since it caught my eye with all of the packages and features it has and I got a reply within 25 minutes of doing so. The process was made very simple and to the point which I appreciate. When I get to Skokie he had everything already signed on his end so all I had to do was sign my parts, and after the test drive and some small talk about the car, I bought it and was in and out of the dealership within 45 minutes. I was recently at classic cars of Sarasota and found the receptionist very friendly as well as the manager. There are many interesting cars in various price ranges. Most were in good to excellent condition. It was a very positive experience.

I have two Jaguars. The first a 2001 XK8, I bought in 2015 from the original owner. The 2nd, a 2007 XK, I bought after the original owner traded it in to a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped to me in Alabama. Both are a similar Pacific Blue, the 07 being Indigo Blue, slightly darker. The 01 has Ivory interior, the 07 has beige. The 01 has quite a bit of recurring maintenance from a host of items that needed redesigning, which was accomplished on the 07. Everything needed was done. The big differences between the two cars is trunk space and cabin space. The 07 Cabin accommodates a taller person where the trunk on the 01 would hold a VW Beetle and easily close. I redesigned the 01 upper shock mounts and rebuilt the mounts with new polyurethane bushings that should outlast me. I have replaced them with OEM 3 times since 2015. That chirping sound you hear is the shock mounts, metal to metal chirping. Anyway, the 01 XK8 is a nice automobile that needs near constant attention. The 07 XK is a Super Luxury GT sports car that is easy to maintain and so far, bulletproof. Nothing that I have driven in it's class compares equally. Everything else has a harsher ride and are regular sports cars. I have owned Corvettes, BMW's, Acura's, Mercedes and Porsche's. None compare. So far, I've had people compliment me on my Miata (the 01) and Corvette (both the 01 & the 07)... Jaguar is a brand of only a few in my location... very rare and no one knows what it is... up close, they just can't read, I guess. The guy was staring at the Jaguar emblem when he called it the best looking Miata he had ever seen. LOL!

Two very comfortable seats, convertible and a V8. Perfect mid life crisis car for me. This is a fun little car that fits 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk and gets there quickly.

Those are some amazing down to earth guys !! They make you feel welcome and definitely make your car shopping experience easy and enjoyable.

I purchased this car about 6 years ago (5.0 n/a XK). From a design perspective, it still holds up and looks modern. I actually like the looks of the base models as they don't have all of the side skirts and aero that change the lines of the original design a bit. The front was slightly redesigned in 2012 and looks a little more aggressive. Performance is great, end the sound of the engine when you get on the gas is addictive. Heated/Cooled seats with 16 way adjustments are great. Back seat is good for some soft luggage. I don't put a lot of miles on the car, but besides yearly oil changes my main cost has been tires. The 20" wheels & tires on this car look great... but stay away from potholes if you can. If you can get the car with 19" wheels... do it... they have some more sidewall. I've replaced both front tires due to pothole hits splitting the sidewalls. If you can't get the 19s, get a road hazard plan when you buy tires. The only other complaint is the touch screen. It is very outdated and slow... only saving grace is that it supports usb mp3 playback (no bluetooth music... only calls). There is not a ton of aftermarket add ons for these cars (exhaust and wheels) and if you get into an accident in an old one, don't be surprised if your car gets totaled out for even seemingly minor damage due to the cost of aluminum body repair. I love this car for roadtrips with the wife, and weekend drives... but I have a Subaru for driving the kids and bad weather.

I was looking for a used luxury sports car and had finally made up my mind to buy another Jaguar because of the extreme luxury interiors and reliability I had with my Jaguar XF. I purchased a 2013 XK-R with Dynamic Pack, Speed Back, and Black Pack. It's amazingly fast, best exhaust note ever, and absolutely gorgeous to look out. Why not buy an exclusive car like this? Read all the reviews. Once you drive one, you'll understand why the pro reviewers say this is the best GT car ever!

Got my 12 XK and absolutely love the lines. The wide hips in the rear with growl of the exhaust makes me happy. Absolutely love the car, don't care for no Bluetooth car play, but making due. 83K om the odometer and paid 12 for it, not bad. Will enjoy beefing up suspension, PowerPlant and make this egg plant colored exotic my baby!
