Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. My Gladiator is 3 years old. Driving in Alaska and what a great vehicle. Starts every morning with no issues. Drives great in deep snow thanks to the ground clearance. The ride is stiff-it’s a Jeep.

As soon as I was greated by Anthony I knew this was the place to be. Me and my wife went in not really sure if we wanted to buy a car because at every other dealership we had been to the salesman where really pushy and seemed like they didn’t care about me as a customer. But the way we were treated as soon as we walked in made us feel as if we knew Mr Anthony from a long time ago . Even though he is a really young man he is very knowledgeable and very respectful. This is a.rock solid vehicle that defines “utility” better than all the rest. You have tons of ways to configure the vehicle every day. Open air roof, doors off, entire top off, pick-up truck uses, off roading, climbing, travel, snowshoeing, skiing, snow driving, trails and dirt roads, hiking, carry bed loads, trailering, ATVs, etc, etc, etc. No way to ever find it boring. Plus, the extra bonus of the culture, friendliness, the wave, jeep groups, and the way it promotes and nurtures getting outdoors and getting active. No issues. Alpine stereo is great. Nav is great. Heat is great. comfort great, carrying fun loads great, towing to 4K lbs great. No complaints.

I think my 2022 Gladiator is one of the top vehicles I have owned The only drawback is the lack of warranty service from my local Jeep dealer.

The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple.
