This is the second new car purchase we have made in the last three months at Shelor. Great experience with the sales and finance staffand. Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects of the purchase.

MOST importantly it is a JEEP. If you want a luxury vehicle, buy one, if you want a full-size truck, buy one, if you want a sports car, buy one, the Jeep Gladiator is none of these. It is designed to be a mid-sized pick-up yet still be a Jeep, it does this PERFECTLY. I have owned 9 Jeeps over the years, as early as 1978 up through 2006; the Jeeps today are full of more amenities and comfort than they ever have been in history. I have 2 Gladiators; a '23 Mojave, and a '23 Diesel Overland, both of them are INCREDIBLE vehicles on and off road, and MORE than fit the bill for a light duty pick-up, superseding most others on the market, and I am even comparing to any of the 5 Tacoma's I have owned. If you are in the market for a light duty pick-up, you can't beat it; whether it is a loaded up graded model, or even the base model, it is still a truck with 4WD, straight axles, and still available with a manual transmission. VERY happy with both of mine!

Ecodiesel gladiator is fun to drive and getting good MPG. My second gladiator and no issues. Jeeps aren't for everyone as they are boxy, heavy, noisy in cab at high speeds and not as luxurious as a Lexus. But these things are tanks with body on frame build, Dana 44 axles, real transfer case and mega offroad capability. Plus its easy to modify suspension and its a "jeep thing".

We worked with Steve who was our salesman. Steve was a genuine, honest, lovely man who just want it to make us happy. He didn’t push anything. He was thorough, helpful, and I felt as though we were treated with respect and kindness and honesty.

With the prices of the Gladiator coming way down (because of incentives), it made it an affordable choice. Black on Black, with a tone of options. I love it, and most importantly so does my wife! 🤪

I helped a friend purchase a used vehicle from Oakes Kia. She doesn't do much online, but I wanted to make sure to put a SHOUT OUT to Stacey! She was upfront, fun, asked my friend many questions to make sure she had found the right car and most of all, wanted her to feel good about her purchase when she drove off! Apparently, they aren't paid on commission, but online reviews help their pay. To each his own, but why should anyone ask a customer to reward them for doing their job? Even if you don't know STACEY, ask for her! She's upfront, honest, funny and doesn't push you. I recommend Oakes Kia, but more than anything I RECOMMEND STACEY. And did I mention she's entertaining?!!

My car was giving warning messages so I called the Cadillac dealership to make an appointment. I caught on that it was the wrong dealership because of the HORRENDOUS, DISCOURTEOUS customer service I received! The woman that answered the phone had no empathy for my situation. I informed her that I was getting “steering assist reduced” messages, my thermostat was not working and my AC was not working - unfortunate for me because we were in the middle of a heatwave!! She told me there were no appointments for two to three weeks and even if I brought the car in then - there was no guarantee as to when it would be attended to. Also, no rentals for another month! She then put me on hold. I was on hold for so long that my call started bouncing all around throughout the dealership. I grew impatient and frustrated, so I hung up and called back. She answered and literally told me she forgot about me! The whole time I was holding I thought she was trying to get me in sooner!! SMH That’s when I realized that something was wrong because I have NEVER EVER encountered such rudeness and disregard at the Freeport location. I asked if it was the Freeport dealership and she said “no - this is the FARMINGDALE location”. I replied “that explains it” and I hung up! When I called my correct dealership - Paul Conte Freeport - the greeting alone by Christine gave me warmth. Initially, I just asked if there were any available appointments that day. Christine informed me that they were swamped. When I told her what was happening with the car, she POLITELY asked me to hold and when she returned shortly after, she told me to bring the car in right away!! At the dealership I spoke with RYAN. He is AMAZING - he is so professional and has such a pleasant personality (like all the others in that office). After checking the car he informed me that I would have to leave it for at least two days because they were so busy. With concern, he asked me if that would be too much of an inconvenience - I replied that it would not be. He explained everything to me thoroughly and arranged for an Uber to pick me up. I felt well taken care of - two days sounded way better than three weeks at Sarant Cadillac. Much to my surprise - after being home for a couple of hours - Ryan called me and told me THE CAR WAS READY!!!! I was shocked and soo thankful. It really made me feel like a valued customer!! I’m not writing this survey because I was taken care of in such a short time frame - I’m writing it because of the OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM, TRUE SINCERE CONCERN FOR MY WELL BEING IN MY VEHICLE, THOROUGHNESS, COURTEOUSNESS, THOUGHTFULNESS, (I really could go on and on LOL) that I received. Now that I’ve experienced elsewhere, I know without a doubt that PAUL CONTE FREEPORT/SERVICE DEPARTMENT is truly OUTSTANDING - NO WHERE ELSE CAN COMPARE!!! Dealing with Candice in service is truly a pleasure our truck was fixed on the first visit. Candice is very professional, kept us informed every step making sure we knew what was being done and when the truck would be done. A loaner car was provided it was a great truck as well. I’m from out of town and had some minor damage to my car. It was enough that I would not be able to return home in a week. Galloway was the closest Ford dealer so I went there in spite of the 1 star reviews on this site. I couldn’t have been happier. Had no clue where to go as they have multiple buildings. Stopped in at the first one and met a woman at the desk who was friendly and guided me where to go. The next stop they all were most accommodating and in an effort to resolve my issue in the shortest amount of time since I had no reservation sent me to their quick lane building where Mauricio came to greet me. Basically took me under his wing as he looked things over, took me to his office and gave me a quote. I had to leave my vehicle while they ordered the parts and delivered the following day. Was given a ride in their free shuttle back to where I was staying in Cape Coral. Was called the next morning around 8:30 or so that it was complete and ready for pickup. They offered to come and get me but a friend gave me a ride over. Everything went so smoothly and my contact couldn’t have been better. Thanks to all that helped which could have gone much much worse.

Had a problem with the service department on Saturday when price at payment time was more then discussed. Left dealer pissed off and called when I got home with a cooler head. Nothing was accomplished so I wrote a review that was seen by upper management. Saturday afternoon a gentleman named Mark called to discuss the issue with me. After talking in order to keep me happy and being a returning customer he first had offered his apology for the misunderstanding then refunded the entire service charge price to me. This showed me they're a stand-up dealership. The icing on the cake was the owner Dave called me on Sunday to apologize and assure me he was behind the total refund.
