Love driving this Jeep. Love having top down and going to the lake or river. Kids love riding in it. I hate getting rid of it but going through divorce and need the money.

1991 YJ Wrangler Review not 1992 Last of Off Road suspension was YJ model. They then changed to Coil Springs and lower chassis for more "On Road" compatibility". And the dash and interior look to "Car Look" as opposed to JEEP look. I'm more into the original. Those wanting that need to look no further than the CJ or YJ models.

Drive an 89 yj with the 4.2l as my daily, guzzles gas, loud, not to fast but xxxxxxx will that thing take some abuse, she takes redline like a beast, can run 2nd gear to 55 at about 5500 rpm (1000rpm past redline) engine and the ax15 transmission are xxxx near bullet proof due to being built for 300hp but only making 120-130. Interior is kinda lacking, analog clock gives some bonus points. Looks good on the outside tho

I purchased this car and have never felt so connected to a vehicle. I find myself just driving through grass and terrain for no reason at all, it is also pretty comfortable at highway speeds. Set my cruise. Only complaint is wind noise, but the vehicle was not made for the highway anyways. It is so fun to drive especially as a manual. Going up hills and rocks and exploring nature. Take the top off and you feel like you are on a motorcycle but not as dangerous or nervous... just so relaxing with the music playing and your leg out the door and your hand on the shift knob. My mom is going through a divorce with my father and I took her on a ride with the top off and played some 80's hits... I have not seen her so happy in years. That alone made purchasing this vehicle worth it to me. Thank you Jeep :)

First let me say I am female! This rig runs like a champ. It has 100,050 miles, I put heavy duty suspension on it about 6 years ago. This Jeep is rugged, dependable and fun. I’ll never sell it and I’ve had several offers. For me it’s the best vehicle I’ve owned. I have the hard, soft and bikini top plus other extras.

This was the best experience I've had while buying a car. Tony greeted us at the door, gave us the keys, and said he'd be inside if we had questions or wanted to take it for a drive. No hovering. No making excuses about the condition of the car. No abrasive selling tactics. We were able to test drive the car by ourselves, which is nice because you can concentrate on the vehicle instead of listening to a sales pitch coming from the back seat. Financing was easy. And we got an extended warranty for under $2k. A previous dealer (Ford) wanted to charge us $5k for the same 3 year warranty ( the car had more miles, but not enough to justify a $3k difference. I bought my 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ in 1989 brand new and I still drive it today in the year 2024. This is my 3rd engine and my 2nd transmission. I have kept it traditional except for the dash and gauges which I replaced with a custom all steel dash and phantom 2 gauges. The dash I had made by Double D Dashes LLC, to my liking. I do not 4 wheel on trails etc and have driven this Jeep across the States at least four times. I drive my Jeep as my Go To vehicle. It sustained me for 28 years in my career, and I still enjoy driving it daily. I can not say that it hasn’t had its problems. The longer I’ve had it, the more work I’ve had to put into it to keep it running. Some repairs have been costly but I have owned this Jeep since I bought it back in 89 so it is bought and paid for. It’s cheaper to repair it than it is to go out and buy a new one that will break down even more so. I find it suited for comfortable riding for two, as the back seat area can be uncomfortable to say the least. I drive it with a hard top on, and half doors however; I do own the full size doors. I had my entire Jeep Rhino Coated and find that the best to do in the South. I still drive it with the original Aluminum Wheels that came on it in 1989. I love this Jeep and will drive it until I die. I always wanted a Jeep when I was a kid but I waited until I was 29 to get one while in the Army. 35 years later and I’m still driving it. The I6 engine is a great one and the 2 barrel carb gives me minor problems. So here’s to Jeep!

It's A Jeep, built for fun and can go through anything, I have the 4cyl so not racing anyone. This little toy can still go through the same things everyone else can just much much slower, although great value for the money.

The 1997 Jeep Wrangler is my first car that I ever had. I even like it better then my moms 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 it is great for off-roading for towing for having fun and just everyday things.

Can't say enough good things about my experience buying my truck from them. It was a no pressure experience. Very nice people from the salesman to the finance guy. Both went the extra mile to make sure I felt good about my purchase. Very upfront with no surprises.

Mine is stock except for my Smitty Built Rock Crawler Guards. I have a small suspension lift. I am running 31" x 10.5" x 15" tires. My gears haven't been done yet so I don't have much power going uphill. The larger tires also affect my braking ability. I can go over curbs when I feel like it. If there is a need I can throw her into 4WD. I have a straight 6 and just put a new crated engine in. I have full doors, stereo bar and hard top. If you can afford a Rubicon get it because you don't have to swap out your axles

Come on, what car do you know can go 65 on the highway then go up rocks 3 feet high. In the winter you just click on the 4 wheel and you'll never get stuck. From mud puddles to snow and ice, its the best car ever. Not the best for highway driving or the average commuter, but if you need to haul, or go off road it's great. Take the top down int he summer and get all the girls to ;)

I have owned our Jeep from Day 1! Only had 1 issue the Jeep, had to replace the cross arm! Utter than that, change the oil, keep up with the maintenance, replacing wore out parts, as need. Our Little Green Jeep has been our work horse. We drive it every day, for shopping needs & what nots, because it is easier to park, zip thru traffic & we don`t worry about wee little door dings from the idiot parked next to me!!!! Our Jeep has over 135,000 miles on Her. Her mileage per/gallon has gone down from ah constant 18mpg to ah 13 to 15mpg as the miles started piling On! Absolutely No Regrets in buying our little Green Jeep...
