2007 Kia Sorento review
Best car I've owned. Out of warranty: AC repair needed ($1200), wheel speed sensor (dealer, $400) steering column to rack and pinion connection / replaced ($600) city mileage 13mpg. Highway 22mpg. Final year that this SUV was built on a truck chassis - is a truck, which is why mileage sux. Still, comfort and handling with all the amenities - my TOP rating. 5 stars. I've owned it 16 years, and STILL love it. Warning: Every KIA dealer I've dealt with has been second rate (terrible) and too expensive. (2-3X cost of neighborhood mechanic shops, and work has been shoddy)

2013 Subaru Legacy review
Bought 2013 Legacy 2.5 premium in early 2014 with approximately 9k miles. Now has 88k and other than routine maintenance no other issues. It has been and remains one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. That includes a few BMW’s and Mercedes. Great all year round especially in the winter. 2003 Acura MDX review
Iv owned my 2003 mdx for about 7 years now! Bought used for $4,800 private party. With 145,000 miles. It now is at 198,000 but it’s been parked for 2 -3years now cause it had broke down finally the harmonic balancer separated and the pulley flew off !! while I was parked luckily. So towed it home didn’t have the money to fix at the time and didn’t have money to non op. Now it fixed but still not driving cause $1000 back fees.. anyways other than that great car except the electric crap my xxx Warmer was glowing and burned my bum 1 morning going to work so I pulled the fuse to both seats. Also my gps monitor went blank 1 day and never came back with maps. Great reliable car otherwise. Why I still hold onto it cause I know she is a trooper. Just need to pay registration..

2000 Toyota Camry review
I have been nothing but impressed by my 2000 Camry 2.2L 4 cylinder XLE that I've owned for 5 years. It now has 360,000 miles on it. She has lived in the south (North Carolina & Virginia), for the length of her 'car career,' though she also lived up by Canada for 1 winter and made it through with snow tires just fine.. I don't expect her to last forever, but the fact that she has lasted this long (and I've taken her on some rough roads to go camping) has truly left me awe struck. I've never had a more reliable vehicle.

2006 Saab 9-3 review
This is the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Drove her off the lot brand new and 16 years later and 150K miles, she’s still smooth as silk. Only repairs are a window and windshield wiper!! So sad they don’t make these cars anymore.

2005 Volkswagen Passat review
We have owned a few of these Passats from the 2001 -2005 body style. If you take care of it and wash it during the winter these cars do not rust. Very comfortable interior and I love how it drives. I have the V6 engine and I been told by many that the engine is bulletproof, but you do have to follow the service schedule. Some repairs are expensive, but long term it's worth it. I have the 4 motion 2005 model and it handles beautifully in the winter. We also still have 2003 v6 GLX and it's running great. I plan on getting another 2005 GLX if I can find a low mileage one. They are reasonable pricewise and last forever.

2013 Ford Focus review
In Aug 2016, purchased the 2013 Fucus Hatch SE used in 2016, with 13,000 miles on it. With 35-37mpg on average with mixed driving. Early on OK without issues. Around 40K miles the transmission electronic control modual, ECM, needed an adjustment. The transmission is a learning transmission. It will learn how you drive and adjust shift points as your driving habits are learned by the transmission. My wife's driving habits are put it in drive and GO! My habits are different. Every now and then I will drive her car and shift the transmission as a manual drive, since the transmission is a manual drive transmission which has been automated. The engine and transmission only makes a subtle gurgle noise when as the car shifts from 2nd to 1st as the car comes to a stop. The car is sporty to drive, sensitive steering, good braking. It reminds be of a less expensive VW Golf. Currently we have 140K miles and the only wear on the car that shows is a failure of the heat shield and since I am a mechanically inclined guy who putters around fixing what is broken, there is wear on the clutches in the transmission, all due by my wife's driving habits of being a speedy driver. Since we already have it and its paid off, I will keep it. I will only purchase a Golf or Jetta when the transmission or electronic control module hiccups. I do realize the ECM has a recall if you're below 1450K miles.

2018 Ford Fiesta review
Bought new at the end of 2018. Almost 8 years later and this has been the least problematic vehicle I’ve owned. In the past I drove a Camry, Civic, Volvo, and a Mazda3. 70k miles on my Automatic transmission SE sedan and the only issue has been replacing the actuator once. Other than that, all routine. Tires once, brakes once, battery once. Been consistent on oil changes/tire rotations, always between 4k-5k miles. Even drove from Florida to California and back without a single problem. Hoping for another 70k miles! 🙏🏼

The outside is immaculate; however, the interior is showing its wear and tear. The headliner is falling, the material on my arm rest has come unglued, but guess what? It starts and still drivers like a dream. Not sure why the windows fog up before I get going on fall/winter mornings, but outside of those two issues, I'd buy this car all over again. I read somewhere where someone has 300k on their dash for this car -- guess what, maybe this will be the last car I own. (smile).

2005 Toyota Prius review
Love my Prius. At first I thought it was ugly, but having owned it for so long, I love it! Get 52 miles to the gallon, but then I don't speed. I drive between 27-29 mph. in town, avoid freeways if I can to keep the mileage high. IU have only replaced the tires and the battery a couple of times. The car starts beautifully, responds well when driven. Is in good shape outside, except for a small "ding"on the bottom of the driver's side where I hit a curb.

2015 Nissan Sentra review
Awesome car . I’m having some transmission slipping ..major red flag .. but I’m so happy with the overall performance otherwise since I’ve owned other many other problems when they were high mileage . I’d buy a Nissan Sentra again if I could afford it . Older lady .. wishing I could get my Transmission to not be sluggish in 1st gear !!!! Transmission sticking !!
