2023 Kia EV6 review
Game changing. Luxurious and affordable. Makes relying fully on an EV an easy and comfortable reality. This car goes head-to-head (and beyond) with any luxury sedan. With the regen mode (which you choose the level of with the paddle to the left of the wheel) it's easy to get above the standard range level. Has auto pilot, lane change guidance, and auto distance/speed adjustment which are really helpful for long or late-night drives. Find the EV6 groups on social media for helpful tips.

2024 Kia EV6 review
I own a 2024 EV6 Wind AWD (traded in a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited) and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned. And it can go 0-60mph in under 4½ seconds, which is on a par with some of my dream cars (Ferrari and Lamborghini from a few decades ago). Charging at home with a $150 charger that plugs into a regular power outlet is quick and adds power to the battery as I sleep. I have a YouTube channel where I post occasional videos, showing what it’s like to own an electric car in your silver-haired years. If you have questions, drop by and ask away.

We had a great purchase experience, thanks to exceptional service from our sales representative, Tommy Lane, who was able to find us the vehicle with the colors and features we wanted and get it to their dealership from another dealership the same day. He also took almost an hour after his shift was supposed to end to go over all the vehicle features before we went home with the vehicle, which was greatly appreciated. Edward Brown also did a great job during the sales paperwork process of fully explaining every document and walked us through the various financing and warranty options without pressuring us into any specific route.
2024 Kia EV6 review
I have a GT model, the fast one ;). I have had for 6 months and 7k miles now. It does not get old to put it in GT mode (full 576hp) and step on it. Ultra fast car and a complete sleeper. I got a screaming deal on it, paid 2/3 of the MSRP price. Love the no maintenance aspect of it (minimal stuff required). Great interior at this price point, not a BMW/Audi interior, but excellent for the segment it competes in. Very happy and highly recommended!

2022 Kia EV6 review
My EV6 Wind AWD is great. I love all the features and would consider a GT Line in the feature. However, I have 3 pet peeves. First, the autosensing wiper setting is inconsistent. Sometimes it will go on high speed for mist and at other time does not wipe a windshield full of rain drops. Second, the forward vehicle detection is also inconsistent failing to detect and stop regardless of having the highest distance set of 4 cars separation. This is especially true in curves or if cars depart suddenly from in front of you and the next car in front is very slow or at a full stop. Third and last, the auto parking sensor fails to detect parking spots and when it does, it's too slow to park. These 3 were true in the 2023 Niro Hybrid I had for a year. The surround camera view is, nevertheless, a great feature to for parking and to avoid damaging wheels when parallel parking. The Meridian sound system is superb.

To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Cochran Kia, because it truly made a difference at a time when I felt overwhelmed and out of options. Several years ago, I found myself in a situation where my vehicle could no longer be repaired affordably. I had no choice but to return to the dealership where I had purchased my previous car in West Virginia. As a West Virginia teacher, “robbing Peter to pay Paul” is often a way of life, and unfortunately my credit had taken a hit. The result was frightening—my manageable $300-something payment was projected to jump to nearly $600 just to secure a loan. I was frantic and unsure how I would make it work. Another West Virginia teacher recommended Cochran Used Cars, and that referral changed everything. I decided to make the trip, and I am so grateful that I did. I was treated with respect, understanding, and honesty—and most importantly, I walked away with a brand-new vehicle and a payment that was truly affordable. At a time when I expected to be limited to something unreliable or far beyond my means, Cochran made what felt impossible become possible. That brand-new car exceeded every expectation. It has required no repairs, still looks great inside and out, and gave me peace of mind when I needed it most. Because of that, I once again find myself in need of a reliable vehicle—and once again, I know exactly where I will go. 2022 Kia EV6 review
This car is amazingly fun to drive: it has a ton of power and torque, and handles like a sports car. I have the Wind AWD w/ Tech Package. The cabin is a good mix of touchscreen and physical knobs/buttons. The Meridian sound system provides fantastic audio. There is a lot of space with the rear seats folded flat.

2022 Kia EV6 review
I’ve put 90,000 miles on my EV-6 GT-Line RWD in a little over 16 months in a rideshare role. No mechanical problems. No software problems. No battery life problems. It is an awesome machine on the outside but at its core, elegantly simple to drive and maintain. My biggest complaint? The AC/radio control panel is too small. Double check when you poke the panel to make sure you didn’t turn the wrong thing on/off. Things I’ve learned and how to overcome them: -USE MAX REGENERATIVE BRAKING. It can add north of 20% extra range in stop and go city driving. If you are racing, turn it off… but do you really race? It feels a little strange - ok, so did weightlessness to Apollo astronauts - get over it, it’s part of EV driving. -Yes, the battery does not like cold. Range is reduced by 30-40% below 30 degrees F. This is consistent with all EVs. If “battery preconditioning” does not appear in the EV page of the master menu (select EV, then select setup cog) get your dealer to upgrade your software. Learn how to use. -Yes, it is a challenge to find chargers. Download PlugShare app for help locating chargers and buy a Tesla charger to J1772 adapter for charging emergencies and keep in the frunk. -If you keep turning on seat fans/seat heat by accident, pull the fuse for seat heat. -If you plan to charge at night, bring a flashlight, because someone forgot to illuminate the charging port (light goes right in your eyes). -If you stow things under the trunk floor, pool noodles will keep stuff from rolling and banging around. -Be aware that just like your gas car, the 12V battery can run out if you leave things on, and that you cannot start the car with a 12V battery that is too low. I had to call AAA once for a jump start to get the EV running. Once on, the big battery charges the 12V battery, buy a little 12V jump start gadget and keep in the trunk under the floor, just in case. Now, go get one and have fun.
