Suntrup Kia SouthReviews
Suntrup Kia South review
I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a car from Suntrup Kia South, and I can’t express how satisfied I am with the experience. Despite being a thousand miles away, their professionalism, transparency, and warmth made me feel right at home. From the moment I connected with Moe Saad, I knew I was in good hands. Moe exemplified the epitome of a top-notch car salesman, providing me with reassurance and guidance every step of the way. My search for the perfect EV9 led me to many dealerships, but none matched the integrity and authenticity of Suntrup Kia South. Moe and his team went above and beyond, offering red carpet treatment without the need for an actual red carpet. Even while under the weather, Moe ensured a seamless transaction, passing the baton to Dzenis, who continued the stellar customer service. From start to finish, every detail was meticulously handled, including a thoughtful conversation with sales manager Dave, who ensured my satisfaction was met at every turn. In an industry often plagued by deceit and gimmicks, Suntrup Kia South stands out as a beacon of honesty and excellence. It’s rare to find such a level of service and transparency, and I can confidently say this was the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Despite the distance, I’d make the journey again without hesitation. If you’re in the market for an EV9 or any vehicle, do yourself a favor and visit Suntrup Kia South. You won’t be disappointed. Hats off to Moe, Dzenis, Dave, and the entire team for exceeding expectations and setting the bar high for customer satisfaction.

I recently purchased a car from this dealership, and I cannot say enough how wonderful the experience was! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome that immediately put me at ease. Every step of the process was smooth, straightforward, and stress-free. The customer service here is nothing short of fantastic. The staff was knowledgeable, patient, and truly seemed to care about helping me find the right vehicle. Special thanks to the general manager, Scott, who went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. He made what can often be a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this dealership to my family and friends because I know they would have a great experience, just like I did.

I LOVE my 2023 KIa K5 GT-Line. I have the Passion Red, and I must say it’s a very sexy color. The panoramic sunroof is my favorite feature. The K5 rides so smooth and handles very well. If you’re considering this car…don’t hesitate any longer. GO BUY IT!!!

Took my daughter to get her first car on her own! Sent her while I was a work to test drive. She said Nate, Darren, and Jeff were so nice to her. She felt so comfortable, all her questions were answered and she didn't feel pressure to make a choice. Later I joined to view car and paperwork. I was greeted as I entered and pass any of the staff! Thank you for the amazing experience with my daughter's first grown up purchase on her own. I will be sending everyone I know your way for a new Kia. My daughter loves the car too! Thank you again Nate, Darren, Jeff and the entire HW Kia team!

For the money, probably the best car I've owned. For the price, value for dollar, it's unbeatable. Excellent safety features, great fuel economy, unbeatable warranty, and comfortable. An amazingly quiet ride, bettering many that cost twice as much. I think it looks great too, especially with the 18" wheels

2022 Kia K5 review
This is my 3rd KIA I have owed. They all have been excellent cars and mechanically sound including my K-5 except for my 2015 Kia Forte which which threw a piston rod. This was related to a recall which occurred in 2014 on the engine that was in my forte I believe and had the same symptoms as was described in recall. I was not granted a credit for that car which was upsetting. Other than that I am very happy with my Kia’s and my K-5.

2022 Kia K5 review
Took the family to Vegas for a week. Enterprise have me the choice between the Malibu, Charger and K5. My youngest didn't want the grey Malibu and I didn't want to pay for the gas on the Charger with the V8. So we went with the black K5. I drive a SUV so it took some time to use to bending down to get into he car. Once we started driving I noticed how smooth and quiet the car was. The car accelerated with ease and the braking made you feel safe. My Dodge Journey is 2015 and doesn't have all the new tech. The K5's blindspot and car In front of you leaving warnings are great features. Although the K5 had great features the only negative I had was the infotainment unit. The unit worked just fine, I just didn't like how it was integrated. It looks as it was installed as an afterthought. Looks like it was just inserted like a Lego piece, I would prefer it flush in the dash.

2025 Kia K5 review
I only had the car 1 month but drove it to Florida (all around) and back and put on 3,500 miles. My car is a GT-Line, Wolf Grey with the Red interior, Bose speakers etc. The car is a real pleasure to drive. Very Quiet on the road, and my mileage exceeded the 37 mpg epa rating, and that’s while maintaining speeds of 80 mph with 2 people and fully loaded with luggage. Little if any wind noise. Note that at times I hit much higher speeds not knowing since it was so quiet & smooth. The engine RPM was mostly between 2 to 2.1 at 80mph. The power of the 2.5 liter is good, and slightly better than the 2019 Camry I had, which was a very good car as well. The Bose system sounded great, and all the alert sensors and some other sensors like keeping your car steering between the lines worked very well, but I preferred to turn that off most of the time. If you turn on your turning signals to changing lanes, and a car is present, not only does your side mirrors alert you, but you’ll get sound notices and the steering wheel will vibrate. Triple redundancy. The handling is very good, and secure, brakes are excellent and has a very good feel to them. A very important note is, I appreciate that the 2.5 engine has both Direct & Port Injectors on each cylinder. Port injectors will help cleaned the valves and clear any carbon build up. This is the same arrangement my Camry 2019 had which greatly reduces or eliminates carbon buildup in these Direct Inject Engines. The Nav system worked flawlessly and quickly. I also love you can remotely start your car with the key FOB (No additional charge) or with Kia Connect though Kia connect is only free the 1st 3 years. Also, happily, it doesn’t have the stop & start engine control which can cause more wear on your starter motor with little gain on MPG. The seats are very comfortable as I can attest driving 12 hours straight on my first stop. The car’s 8 spd auto shifted smoothly in all conditions. Plenty of room inside. Lot of storage in the console area for incidentals and drinks. I enjoyed the Panoramic roof. The negative was the Combine toggle Climate & Media control is a bit counter intuitive and sometimes causes more effort to control. Trunk space is good, as I had lots of luggage. The car feels solid & hopefully reliable down the line. The only other negative which is because I do my own oil changes etc, is this car takes a Cartridge oil filter (Not spin on) and takes 6.1 quarts of oil, (Not 5 qts) but I knew this well before I bought it but it’s location and design is good. So it’s not a real big deal, but this will cost a little more for oil changes. Recommended oil chg is 7,500 but I’ll be doing it every 5 to 6K for sure. BTW recommended oil is 0 -30W. Based on my limited time but very heavy usage I highly recommend this car, and I really enjoy driving it. Very sporty looking.
