Used 2022 Kia Niro EV for sale near Rolling Hills Estates, CA

My wife picked up the top of the line version used a year after it was released for under 40K. We have a level 2 charging system in place at home as we anticipated getting one EV. We immediately did a road trip from Denver, Colorado to upper state New York. I knew enough about EVs to know we'd be taking our time and learning as we went. We had some close calls as new EV owners, but always made it to our next level 3 charging station. We made it through some flooding roads in Chicago and our return trip was even faster as we'd learned much from the drive out. I loved the car so much I found the exact make and model (different color) and bought it six months later for under 30K. I wouldn't recommend anyone else road trip unless you've got time to stop frequently, but I use this daily to and from work as well as local excursions. I've had many vehicles over the last 30+ years and this is the nicest, most intuitive & fast (never leaving Eco Mode). I think the reason many are currently hitting the market and substantially lower prices than that initial $48K is most likely a leasing situation, so take advantage of the prices dropping on these very rewarding EVs.

Overall an amazing car. 36,000 miles in just over 1 1/2 years (about 2,000 miles per month). Handles wonderfully, zero repairs so far. Gets 3.5 miles/kW on average in the NYC area - worst in winter, best when using no heat or AC in stop and go driving, but 3.5 is the average. Points taken off for reflective surfaces in the cabin that can blind you when sunlight hits them at the "right" angle. Some stupid head-unit and HVAC quicks (which car doesn't have them?), including settings that -should- stick when re-starting, but do not, and poor control of instrument lighting, which is not consistent across the dashboard. Lots of cargo space with rear seats folded down, and ample legroom in front AND back for passengers. So, I do love the car and love driving it. Would easily consider another Kia EV in the future.

Had to get some warranty repairs done. Jeff took care of all the processing and we were informed about the progress from start to finish. Professional, courteous customer service.

We've had our Niro for just over a year. That's when we got the notice that Kia Connect "Ultimate" the tech package was being disconnected. We no longer have remote door locks, remote starting and other features unless we're willing to pay $150 -200 per year after dropping $40,000+ for these features. This must be their definition of "service after the sale."

I had an amazing experience buying my new car at Van Nuys Kia. Gabriel Hernandez, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, and he was patient with all of my questions. He even stayed late to help me finalize the paperwork and teach me all the features my car has. Picked up in February 2022. Great commuter car, 200 + miles per charge, but lack of level 3 charge stations restricts long distance trips. Even in Economy mode car can be QUICK off the line! Driving / handling is good. Quick start in a turn, front wheel torquing can be an issue but this is with any front wheel drive car. No inside release for charge door. Have to get out, open charge door then go back to drivers door to lock the car doors. Charge door on front of car so it can get snow packed in winter. Not tow or bike receiver rated. Bottom line: Fun & economical car to drive. Enough head & shoulder room. Comfortable drivers seat. Gauges/ dials / buttons EASY to figure out. Regen brakes and paddle shifters take a bit to adjust to. If Kia gives the Niro a tow rating, I would buy it again.

Amazing performance. No need for shifting with electric vehicles so acceleration is immediate. The weight of the battery keeps it grounded so you don’t miss the unneeded equipment of a gasoline engine. Just need to install a power source at home and charge up overnight. Once you do the math and deduct the expense of gas from the price…it becomes the obvious choice for you and the planet. Fab features like Smart Cruise and Auto Hold make driving FUN. Don’t overlook this one!

My recent purchase at Van Nuys Kia was the best experience buying a new vehicle I have had. Other dealers were not able to accept the $7,500 EV tax credit for a purchase, but Van Nuys Kia did. I am very happy with my new Kia EV6 and pleased with how I was treated by Farid and Ali at Van Nuys Kai. I highly recommend them.

Great customer service and detailed attention to customer never making feel pressure to purchase the vehicle, got approved online and when i visit the dealer that night i was out in of the dealership with my new beemer in about two hours. Julio was excellent.

I traded in my car for a better one at lower payments. I'm very happy with how they treated me, didn’t push me, didn’t try to fool me. I looked at 4 different vehicles and ended up with a Toyota Tacoma, car’s history was very transparent and the price for its condition was superb. Overall - very positive experience.

Went in there not even expecting to get anything and they were able to hook me up great deal for the Toyota Tundra. The car is 10/10 and they did some magic with the payments, making those indeed affordable. I didn’t have any expectations but left impressed. Thanx!!
