My wife picked up the top of the line version used a year after it was released for under 40K. We have a level 2 charging system in place at home as we anticipated getting one EV. We immediately did a road trip from Denver, Colorado to upper state New York. I knew enough about EVs to know we'd be taking our time and learning as we went. We had some close calls as new EV owners, but always made it to our next level 3 charging station. We made it through some flooding roads in Chicago and our return trip was even faster as we'd learned much from the drive out. I loved the car so much I found the exact make and model (different color) and bought it six months later for under 30K. I wouldn't recommend anyone else road trip unless you've got time to stop frequently, but I use this daily to and from work as well as local excursions. I've had many vehicles over the last 30+ years and this is the nicest, most intuitive & fast (never leaving Eco Mode). I think the reason many are currently hitting the market and substantially lower prices than that initial $48K is most likely a leasing situation, so take advantage of the prices dropping on these very rewarding EVs.

When using cruise control and limit how many car lengths between you and car in front of you, it does serious sudden slow down which could be dangwrous with someone right behind you. Otherwise great car, one of my best ever.

Overall an amazing car. 36,000 miles in just over 1 1/2 years (about 2,000 miles per month). Handles wonderfully, zero repairs so far. Gets 3.5 miles/kW on average in the NYC area - worst in winter, best when using no heat or AC in stop and go driving, but 3.5 is the average. Points taken off for reflective surfaces in the cabin that can blind you when sunlight hits them at the "right" angle. Some stupid head-unit and HVAC quicks (which car doesn't have them?), including settings that -should- stick when re-starting, but do not, and poor control of instrument lighting, which is not consistent across the dashboard. Lots of cargo space with rear seats folded down, and ample legroom in front AND back for passengers. So, I do love the car and love driving it. Would easily consider another Kia EV in the future.

We had a great experience buying our 2025 Ford Escape at Apple Ford Shakopee. The Senior Sales Rep, Tim Baird, was so professional and helpful and treated us like family. He went out of his way to explain many features of the vehicle that are new to us. We are senior citizens and were blessed to have Tim take care of us.

so much going for it that it is sad that the dashboard panel was not thought out. The air conditioning and the media controls are inexplicably linked. Every time you want to turn the radio on, you will turn on the air conditioning. It is bonkers and it's not useful. If you want to install a phone holder you will not find a good place as all useful information is on a panel that would hold the phone. Who designed this? Fire them.

We've had our Niro for just over a year. That's when we got the notice that Kia Connect "Ultimate" the tech package was being disconnected. We no longer have remote door locks, remote starting and other features unless we're willing to pay $150 -200 per year after dropping $40,000+ for these features. This must be their definition of "service after the sale."

I made an appointment with a very pleasant person named Courtney. We came in and met with Ryan Santos. He was very professional and friendly. He showed us the new Accord we were interested in and we took it for a test drive. The negotiation was painless and we bought the car and drove home that day. This car replaced a 2010 Hyundai that was beginning to give me trouble. I decided to lease it - my first 100% EV - and installed a charger in my garage. So far I am totally delighted with the car - its finish, its drivability, and its performance. It is nimble and when I step hard on the accelerator (what we used to call the "gas pedal") it leaps forward like a startled bunny. To be sure there are lots of differences from the traditional gas-powered cars I have driven all of my life. It is really quiet, which sometimes is a little deceiving because it is actually working. The quiet and the different feedback signals that provides to the driver will take some time to get used to. Also, there are so many options -- many of them hidden several clicks from the top of the home screen -- that are still a mystery to me. (As usual, the owner's manual is almost impossible to use -- I have relied on asking ChatGPT for guidance). "What is that button for?" "How do I make it so the radio doesn't turn on every time I get in the car?" "Where is cruise control?" "How do I turn off the seat heaters?" -- the list is endless and I'm counting on slowly learning how all of it works. Overall, after a month of driving the car I couldn't be happier. It will be an "in town" vehicle -- the range isn't suitable for much inter-city driving -- but I love how smooth and competent the car feels. The finishes inside and out are great; seats comfortable and insanely easy to adjust; sight lines fine. It's a great introduction to the work of EVs.

Great car for trips around the city. A blast to drive. Good range. Maneuvers really well in tight spaces. I’m 6’ 2” and there’s plenty of room in front and back seats. Easy to charge. Inexpensive to maintain. However, the bench seats are extremely uncomfortable. Back up beep is way too loud and annoying. Not worth the price unless there are substantial state and federal incentives.

We chose the entry level trim model. This vehicle has amazing fuel mileage and drives much better than you would expect at the price. Many of the features for this trim level are not offered on equivalent vehicles from other manufacturers.

Picked up in February 2022. Great commuter car, 200 + miles per charge, but lack of level 3 charge stations restricts long distance trips. Even in Economy mode car can be QUICK off the line! Driving / handling is good. Quick start in a turn, front wheel torquing can be an issue but this is with any front wheel drive car. No inside release for charge door. Have to get out, open charge door then go back to drivers door to lock the car doors. Charge door on front of car so it can get snow packed in winter. Not tow or bike receiver rated. Bottom line: Fun & economical car to drive. Enough head & shoulder room. Comfortable drivers seat. Gauges/ dials / buttons EASY to figure out. Regen brakes and paddle shifters take a bit to adjust to. If Kia gives the Niro a tow rating, I would buy it again.

Going electric is a fascinating experience, You drive by gas stations and realize, they are a thing of your past. This car get every good mileage. I have seen 300 miles after a charge. The drive is so quiet and the interior feels rather luxurious in some ways and quite baffling. in others. The complex electrical system has an air conditioner/radio switch that is completely annoying.Every time you turn the radio on, if you're not in the right place, the air conditioning goes on. This happens perpetually. The entire system requires two ro three reads of the manual—it is not intuitive. Another dislike is (it can be turned off) is the steering wheel switch that shudders anytime you make a lane change—there have been times when the sense of control is lost—not a good thing! The entire right side is given to some Las Vegas type light fixture that can change colors. It's a wasted space, though passengers comment and seem to love it. All in all, a good car, pricey compared to similar cars, but a timely choice.

A few weeks have past since we purchased our 2025 Telluride and Seelye’s personable customer service and vehicle knowledge have not faltered through multiple interactions since. Purchasing from Seelye was as Peaceful as buying a new vehicle could be with no pressure to walk off the lot that day. Amazing performance. No need for shifting with electric vehicles so acceleration is immediate. The weight of the battery keeps it grounded so you don’t miss the unneeded equipment of a gasoline engine. Just need to install a power source at home and charge up overnight. Once you do the math and deduct the expense of gas from the price…it becomes the obvious choice for you and the planet. Fab features like Smart Cruise and Auto Hold make driving FUN. Don’t overlook this one!

The car is great to drive. Has a really decent range for being an electric vehicle. Manufacture states 239 miles per charge but I get 254 miles per charge. Quest, smooth and relaxing drive. Has plenty of power and option. The back seat as a good amount of leg room and I am 6'2". Recommend this car to anyone.

Performs flawlessly but charging technology is badly designed and takes too long. If Kia had their own chargers like Tesla, that would be better. But they don't.
