When using cruise control and limit how many car lengths between you and car in front of you, it does serious sudden slow down which could be dangwrous with someone right behind you. Otherwise great car, one of my best ever.

We made the deal on the phone, so there was no negotiating once i got to the dealership. Once there, the staff was attentive and prompt. Made the whole experience enjoyable.

My wife picked up the top of the line version used a year after it was released for under 40K. We have a level 2 charging system in place at home as we anticipated getting one EV. We immediately did a road trip from Denver, Colorado to upper state New York. I knew enough about EVs to know we'd be taking our time and learning as we went. We had some close calls as new EV owners, but always made it to our next level 3 charging station. We made it through some flooding roads in Chicago and our return trip was even faster as we'd learned much from the drive out. I loved the car so much I found the exact make and model (different color) and bought it six months later for under 30K. I wouldn't recommend anyone else road trip unless you've got time to stop frequently, but I use this daily to and from work as well as local excursions. I've had many vehicles over the last 30+ years and this is the nicest, most intuitive & fast (never leaving Eco Mode). I think the reason many are currently hitting the market and substantially lower prices than that initial $48K is most likely a leasing situation, so take advantage of the prices dropping on these very rewarding EVs.

Great car for trips around the city. A blast to drive. Good range. Maneuvers really well in tight spaces. I’m 6’ 2” and there’s plenty of room in front and back seats. Easy to charge. Inexpensive to maintain. However, the bench seats are extremely uncomfortable. Back up beep is way too loud and annoying. Not worth the price unless there are substantial state and federal incentives.

Performs flawlessly but charging technology is badly designed and takes too long. If Kia had their own chargers like Tesla, that would be better. But they don't.

Overall an amazing car. 36,000 miles in just over 1 1/2 years (about 2,000 miles per month). Handles wonderfully, zero repairs so far. Gets 3.5 miles/kW on average in the NYC area - worst in winter, best when using no heat or AC in stop and go driving, but 3.5 is the average. Points taken off for reflective surfaces in the cabin that can blind you when sunlight hits them at the "right" angle. Some stupid head-unit and HVAC quicks (which car doesn't have them?), including settings that -should- stick when re-starting, but do not, and poor control of instrument lighting, which is not consistent across the dashboard. Lots of cargo space with rear seats folded down, and ample legroom in front AND back for passengers. So, I do love the car and love driving it. Would easily consider another Kia EV in the future.

We've had our Niro for just over a year. That's when we got the notice that Kia Connect "Ultimate" the tech package was being disconnected. We no longer have remote door locks, remote starting and other features unless we're willing to pay $150 -200 per year after dropping $40,000+ for these features. This must be their definition of "service after the sale."

We chose the entry level trim model. This vehicle has amazing fuel mileage and drives much better than you would expect at the price. Many of the features for this trim level are not offered on equivalent vehicles from other manufacturers.

Nice staff, great selection of Tesla vehicles. Good prices. It took a while to get seen but they were short staffed. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the car. But I will be back for it soon.

It is so inexpensive to operate this 2020 Kia Niro EV EX model! At 0.0619 per kw that I pay with my electric company, it cost me about $3.96 cents to get 239 mile range!

so much going for it that it is sad that the dashboard panel was not thought out. The air conditioning and the media controls are inexplicably linked. Every time you want to turn the radio on, you will turn on the air conditioning. It is bonkers and it's not useful. If you want to install a phone holder you will not find a good place as all useful information is on a panel that would hold the phone. Who designed this? Fire them.

Going electric is a fascinating experience, You drive by gas stations and realize, they are a thing of your past. This car get every good mileage. I have seen 300 miles after a charge. The drive is so quiet and the interior feels rather luxurious in some ways and quite baffling. in others. The complex electrical system has an air conditioner/radio switch that is completely annoying.Every time you turn the radio on, if you're not in the right place, the air conditioning goes on. This happens perpetually. The entire system requires two ro three reads of the manual—it is not intuitive. Another dislike is (it can be turned off) is the steering wheel switch that shudders anytime you make a lane change—there have been times when the sense of control is lost—not a good thing! The entire right side is given to some Las Vegas type light fixture that can change colors. It's a wasted space, though passengers comment and seem to love it. All in all, a good car, pricey compared to similar cars, but a timely choice.

Never was I pressured, made appointment, went in and once again, I never felt pressured, Juan was informative, professional, friendly, best service I have ever received buying a new car. I left In my new car feeling like I was part of a new family. Aladin in finance was real and friendly. And the wonderful man who got us approved was also incredible. I feel horrible that his name is escaping me right now. I see the past reviews are not that high but ownership has changed and the service is now incredible. Once again ask for Juan Z. He is amazing. Picked up in February 2022. Great commuter car, 200 + miles per charge, but lack of level 3 charge stations restricts long distance trips. Even in Economy mode car can be QUICK off the line! Driving / handling is good. Quick start in a turn, front wheel torquing can be an issue but this is with any front wheel drive car. No inside release for charge door. Have to get out, open charge door then go back to drivers door to lock the car doors. Charge door on front of car so it can get snow packed in winter. Not tow or bike receiver rated. Bottom line: Fun & economical car to drive. Enough head & shoulder room. Comfortable drivers seat. Gauges/ dials / buttons EASY to figure out. Regen brakes and paddle shifters take a bit to adjust to. If Kia gives the Niro a tow rating, I would buy it again.

We bought our KIA last year (2024) with a package of free oil change, 4times/year. Since then I been at Kia xxxxxxGlendale 3times for oil change. The service is great! It goes smooth, easy and for free! :) They never tried to put on me any kind of an extra charge. Their service is always professional and correct! I'm very satisfied with KIA xxxxxxat Glendale.

Bought my first car there 23 years ago. the honesty from the owner Shaun and He's positive and reassuring way to get me approved when nobody else could was a life saver, all I had at that time was a beat up car that could barely take me to and from work, Shaun with a reassuring smile took it as a down payment and as of that day, I remember how much that help meant for My wife and I, we were young and had just married and started a family with My eldest at that time in the car seat. Amazing performance. No need for shifting with electric vehicles so acceleration is immediate. The weight of the battery keeps it grounded so you don’t miss the unneeded equipment of a gasoline engine. Just need to install a power source at home and charge up overnight. Once you do the math and deduct the expense of gas from the price…it becomes the obvious choice for you and the planet. Fab features like Smart Cruise and Auto Hold make driving FUN. Don’t overlook this one!
