I recently purchased a BMW i4 eDrive 40, and the entire experience has exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, the buying and leasing process was seamless, with a knowledgeable, attentive sales team who made every step clear and straightforward. Driving the i4 is a true pleasure ? the car feels responsive, smooth, and well-balanced, combining sporty handling with a quiet, refined ride that makes both city driving and highway cruising enjoyable. What reassured me most in choosing the i4 was how it ranks among the top automotive evaluators. I relied heavily on Consumer Reports for reliability, safety, and owner satisfaction, but I also considered ratings from J.D. Power, Edmunds, MotorTrend, Car and Driver, and Road & Track. Consistently, the i4 eDrive 40 emerged as a top performer in the luxury EV sedan category, validating my choice. It?s rare to find a vehicle that excels in driving experience, luxury, and industry ratings ? the BMW i4 delivers on all three fronts, making it a truly satisfying purchase.
Hidden EV gem
My wife picked up the top of the line version used a year after it was released for under 40K. We have a level 2 charging system in place at home as we anticipated getting one EV. We immediately did a road trip from Denver, Colorado to upper state New York. I knew enough about EVs to know we'd be taking our time and learning as we went. We had some close calls as new EV owners, but always made it to our next level 3 charging station. We made it through some flooding roads in Chicago and our return trip was even faster as we'd learned much from the drive out. I loved the car so much I found the exact make and model (different color) and bought it six months later for under 30K. I wouldn't recommend anyone else road trip unless you've got time to stop frequently, but I use this daily to and from work as well as local excursions. I've had many vehicles over the last 30+ years and this is the nicest, most intuitive & fast (never leaving Eco Mode). I think the reason many are currently hitting the market and substantially lower prices than that initial $48K is most likely a leasing situation, so take advantage of the prices dropping on these very rewarding EVs.

Got Oil Change.
Got Oil Change. cost $125. Good Service. Took over an hour to do the job and the day before the system went down.
Great little car.
Overall an amazing car. 36,000 miles in just over 1 1/2 years (about 2,000 miles per month). Handles wonderfully, zero repairs so far. Gets 3.5 miles/kW on average in the NYC area - worst in winter, best when using no heat or AC in stop and go driving, but 3.5 is the average. Points taken off for reflective surfaces in the cabin that can blind you when sunlight hits them at the "right" angle. Some stupid head-unit and HVAC quicks (which car doesn't have them?), including settings that -should- stick when re-starting, but do not, and poor control of instrument lighting, which is not consistent across the dashboard. Lots of cargo space with rear seats folded down, and ample legroom in front AND back for passengers. So, I do love the car and love driving it. Would easily consider another Kia EV in the future.

I am very happy with my experience at Jim Marsh Kia.
I am very happy with my experience at Jim Marsh Kia. "Pacman" was my salesman and he was very curtious, proffessional and made sure I was very happy with my purchase. And I am !!
You're going to keep paying after the sale.
We've had our Niro for just over a year. That's when we got the notice that Kia Connect "Ultimate" the tech package was being disconnected. We no longer have remote door locks, remote starting and other features unless we're willing to pay $150 -200 per year after dropping $40,000+ for these features. This must be their definition of "service after the sale."

First EV - 2022 KIA Nero EV
Picked up in February 2022. Great commuter car, 200 + miles per charge, but lack of level 3 charge stations restricts long distance trips. Even in Economy mode car can be QUICK off the line! Driving / handling is good. Quick start in a turn, front wheel torquing can be an issue but this is with any front wheel drive car. No inside release for charge door. Have to get out, open charge door then go back to drivers door to lock the car doors. Charge door on front of car so it can get snow packed in winter. Not tow or bike receiver rated. Bottom line: Fun & economical car to drive. Enough head & shoulder room. Comfortable drivers seat. Gauges/ dials / buttons EASY to figure out. Regen brakes and paddle shifters take a bit to adjust to. If Kia gives the Niro a tow rating, I would buy it again.

Lana is the absolute best! I trust her and would follow her anywhere. She is my Chevy experience and it has been fantastic! Thank you Lana!
Charging issues
Performs flawlessly but charging technology is badly designed and takes too long. If Kia had their own chargers like Tesla, that would be better. But they don't.
