April, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with purchase of our used Honda. Within a day or so discovered faulty VTC Actuator. We are from out of state and had to remain in area for repairs during the worst of the wildfires. But the amazing service manager Celine ( who was also covering jobs for absent co- workers) seemed to be able to make magic happen!!!! Within 30 minutes determined it was a repair that had to done at a local Honda dealer, arranged a ride to our RV for us, had our car taken to the Honda dealer. Knowing we could leave town and the awful smoke when the car was fixed she said she'd try her best to get our car back to us the next day which was a sat.( and her day off). Gave us her personal cell no. and set up in computer the details for our return ride to Carmax. Sat. was moving on but one call to Carmax for an update, they saw Celine had arranged everything for us to get our car on Sat. and BAM, magic happened!! Had our car within an hour, repairs completed, and we headed home to Florida. Yes, Carmax was great with fulfilling their warranty policy but it was Celine who put the efficient, professional, friendly face to implementing it. Thank-you Celine for being great at what you do!

We bough this car used in August from a Nissan dealer. There were some hidden problems that unfortunately the dealer did not disclose right away. Window regulator apparently are a problem with this car as well as engine burning oil prematurely. I performed a two-day cylinder soak and upgraded to a higher quality oil and the oil burning is no longer an issue. Apart from these problems, the car has been great for us. No other issues and the EX version is really loaded (it even has ventilated seats). Multimedia gets slow after being updated, be aware. But updates adds some features like, for example, lowering the fan speed when you get a call or ask to read a message. It is compatible with android auto and apple car play, not wireless but you can get one of those adapters.

I am sure they wanted to go home to their families but stayed after hours to make sure the deal got done. It didn’t go unnoticed and was so appreciated. I bought this car used from friend they did have motor problem but they bought it new so kia replaced motor and my daughter drove it couple years then when she graduated I took Kia and bought her new car for her and grandkids and I have been happy with it. It's my everyday car because it gets great MPG. It's got 160k miles about 50K on new motor. So far no issues just keep her up to date on oil changes and stuff. It's 1st Kia I ever owned and I would definitely give them another go if time to buy another vehicle.

I love my Kia Optima, yes there's been a lot of recalls for Kia "but" they stand by there warranties. ("As long as you have followed warranty guidelines.")

I have bought about a dozen vehicles in my life. I called a couple days ago to ask about the truck I wanted to buy and started working with Kent, who went over the Carfax with me then went out in the rain and cold to send me pictures of it. I got busy over the next couple days and didn't have a chance to make it in, and Kent was so polite and friendly in following up with me. When I finally made it in to look at the truck a couple days later, Kent was on vacation so Larry and Brian helped me with the purchase. I’ve purchased new my 2013 Kia Optima back in May 2013. It’s been a fantastic car. I haven’t driven it a great deal & have just 20,463 miles on it as of July 2025. It’s stylish & very comfortable. I still enjoy having & driving it.

I love my optima but sunroof guide is broken little part is coming out and hitting my grandson head now I can use I put black tape because is not close right I go to the dealer and he said I need to fixed asap also associated from there love my car is so clean please I need help is my family car also I take my wife for doctors appointment she have stage 3 leaver

Very happy with this vehicle all the way around. Rides nice very comfortable for long distance not bad to travel in. Plenty of pick up also pushing Sport button the vehicle speeds acceleration is quite good.

This is now the second optima I have owned and I have to say that I am truly impressed with how KIA has improved over the years. The leg room in this car is fantastic and it's quite comfortable on long rides. Handles nice, has nice acceleration, rides smooth, it's great on fuel, and has very few problems. The interior gets some criticism from some consumers but what I love about it is that it sacrifices flashy exotic dashboard designs for genuine comfort and space. I would argue that the value of the newer optima models exceeds that of the almighty Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. I literally love driving this car and I miss it when I'm riding in someone else's car. The only issue I ever had was with my last optima, which was a knock sensor issue. Kia fixed it free of charge rather quickly and gave me no problems at all about it. My current one has over 50k miles and runs like brand new. You can't even feel the motor running when it's idling. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for more bang for their buck and for anyone who has 1-2 kids.

15000 mile maintenance. Oil change and all the other maintenance done very quickly. Always bright and cheerful when we come in. They do a great job and I’d highly recommend Makayla!!

Just traded in my 2013 for a 2018 with less than 18,000 miles on it. I loved my Optima and wanted another. This one is nice, but missing the heated steering wheel my other EX had. I like the looks of the cabin on my 2013 better than this one, but it’s not bad. It’s a smooth comfortable ride, good on gas and has some nice safety features. Definitely not disappointed.

There's pro and cons with this car. I love the fact that this car is very good of mileages save so much fuel , I lived in San Antonio and we drove this car with full tank to Corpus Christi its about 2 hours and half, almost 145 miles away, then we came back still have half full of a tank. My deslike about the car is the front passenger set, its kinda very low and there's no other way of adjusting it. ( Blind spot)When changing lane specially to your rare left side ,you literally turning your head making sure there's no other vehicle. Other than that??The car is good to drive.
