2021 Kia Rio review
2021 Rio S - bought new 2021, had for 2 years, no issues. Great commuter car / student car. Positive: Comfortable with good leg /head room. Gas mileage excellent. Excels at speeds around 55-65mph. Gets 46 mpg at this speed range on longer trips. Negative: Does not handle as well at higher speeds versus larger cars > 65mpg.

2021 Kia Rio review
For its price point, the Kia Rio delivers and has *been* delivering for a couple years now. It is a very simple car with modest interior design but an exterior design that makes it stand out a bit more from the crowd, something that people complaining of cars all looking alike these days might find interest in. The ride is comfortable enough, and its performance on the road is enough to keep up with other cars without trouble; it is very easy on the gas and the steering wheel. The Rio is a reliable car. Mine had a leak in the transmission pan fairly early on, but that has been the only issue. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a simple budget car, especially one for a teenager.

2020 Kia Rio review
I rolled my 2002 P T Curser and needed to get another car so I wanted to get a Kia Ive never heard of a Reo nor had i ever seen one. The car lot pulled out the Reo and after i drove it I fell in love with it so far it runs great no problems good gas milage. I have only had the car for a month tho so time will tell.

Having purchased only new vehicles my entire life, I found myself in need of buying my girlfriend a certified used vehicle from a local Honda dealership. After the salesman ignored our desires and instead try to upsell us, however, we decided to try Carmax instead. From the start, Carmax offered a helpful hand online and friendly service over the phone: they were quickly able to find what we needed and provide attractive financing in a flash. (Thanks to you, Lesly.) Moreover, I found scheduling of a meeting to finish the deal at the dealership efficient. Once at the dealership, Haseam did well in helping us -- his knowledge and friendliness were impressive, especially since I havevworked in the service industry for many years . Because he did not try to upsell us, but rather did his best to educate us on what would work well, (coming in on his day-off to finalize the deal), I must commend Carmax and its associates for providing a memorable experience. Also, I was thankful that Dashau helped expedite the process when we completed the paperwork; what a breeze! 2023 Kia Rio review
We have been driving our Rio for just over one year. It's not a luxury car, but we didn't want to spend a larger amount. Our most pleasant surprise is the gas mileage: it has consistently been between 42 and 45 MPG. We do live in the country, so we drive about 15 miles each way to town on a country highway that has a speed limit of 55. We did have an intermittent, annoying electrical problem, but our dealership was able to resolve the problem by the next morning. All-in-all we are very pleased with the performance and comfort, and the acceleration is quite satisfactory.

2021 Rio Hatchback- I am quite happy with this car. Handles fine, great fuel milage, plenty of power for it's size (and I love its size) Wish it had a telescopic steering wheel, but you adjust. Apple CarPlay and 8" touchscreen is great.

2023 Kia Rio review
Sadly, this review won't be worth a hill of beans, as Kia has decided to no longer offer/make it in the USA. I wanted to replace an older (electric!) subcompact car with a new, full-warranty automobile that cost less than US$20k. The Rio checked all those boxes. Surprisingly, it's got some very nice features, like Apple CarPlay. My "S" model has 60/40 fold-down rear seats, keyless entry and a center console. For a small, 4-cylinder engine, the 1.6L, 120hp gets the job done. I use it for town driving, but I feel it would be comfortable on the road as well. And with 38mpg average, a 400 mile trip on one tank isn't out of the question. The back seat is large enough for my two grandchildren, and the front seats give me ample legroom and comfort. If this is what a "plain" daily driver goes for these days, I'd buy it again!

2022 Kia Rio review
Fuel economy on the Kia Rio is better than sticker. The only real negative to the Kia Rio that I have experienced so far in the 10,000 miles I have driven is the lane follow assist and Lane keep assist do not work worth a hill of beans. They are pointless and should not have even been put on the vehicle until they were done correctly. I have another vehicle that is a Hyundai that outperforms my Kia Rio 100 to 1. I cannot say enough positive things about my Hyundai and enough negative things and how disappointed I am with my Rio in the sense of the lane follow assist should be keeping you centered in your lane and it does not. You're lucky if it doesn't drive you clear off the road. Unfortunately my Kia dealer said that there is nothing they can do about that oh well. I told them well that's the reason I purchased it because I assume that it worked as well as my Hyundai does but it does not. The biggest redeeming quality about this vehicle is the Comfort overall for an economy vehicle and the mpg is above sticker meaning I get on average about 44 to 48 miles per gallon depending on the day and the speed I'm traveling on the highway.

2019 Kia Rio review
Have 48000 miles on it, runs great and fuel mileage is awesome. I average 36 in the city and 42+ on the highway. Drove 4500 miles in three weeks and got an average of 42 mpg. Tires have another 5000 miles before needing to be replaced.

2017 Kia Rio review
This car is perfectly fine in every way I needed except for one minor fix that I would like to ask for future models, the car is just too low to the ground. I am no expert by any means, just use the car to get from point A to point B, and this car is perfect for me. Other than it being too low to the ground for my road situation in Oklahoma. I use it for main roads mostly, (even those can be rough at times) and I enjoy the freedom that the gas mileage gives me. I would recommend this to any first time or even competent understandering drivers who need a cheap reliable car for at least a few years. I had my first Kia for at least 8 years, and it was wrecked as some more elitist drivers would say "beyond repair," but it held up and it required minimum work and cost on my part at the time to keep it running. That'll do Kia, that'll do.
