2008 Saturn Vue review
I have owned two 2008 Saturn Vue. First one had a accident where was hit by a pickup truck doing roughly 45 mph, in the rear. The deck behind rear seats and chasis observed the impact. No one in car was hurt. Second Vue now has 213,000 miles on it. Just replaced replaced radiator. Replaced wheel bearing, caliper, rotors and tires all way around car. Good inexpensive transportation. Engine could use more guts. But it gets you down the road.

Love my big babi is what I call my 2012 Lincoln mkx. Few issues but still love my Lincoln 1.rear camera: goes in and out 80% of time it's upside down 2.A.c: blows hot air on passenger side and back 3. 2004 Chevrolet Malibu review
I bought my Malibu new after trading in my minivan, I was sick of minivans and have been very impressed with my Malibu. The car is large enough to fit everything I need, it accelerates quickly and still runs strong! I love how quiet the engine is and how smooth it drives. It rarely needs repairs and seems like it will run forever. The only ongoing issue it’s had that no mechanic can fix is that it has a tendency to die on me when I am backing out of parking spaces and my driveway. Sometimes after it dies I have to fight it a bit to get it started again and sometimes it starts right backup. I would highly recommend this car to anyone.

1996 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight review
This was my first Olds. Had 58k when I got it and it was a great car. Handled great, roomy, very comfortable with lots of room in front and in back. Leather seats, AM/FM cassette & CD player. CD player was glitchy and I quit using it. The digital information control was also intermittent & giving error codes. Other than that it was a solid car and great to drive. I took it on several road trips and wow...500 miles to empty, avg 35 mpg on a long trip with air ride for added comfort. I was amazed and loved this car. Not so great to look at...a big boat but oh so nice to own!

2009 Ford Focus review
This is the second 2009 Ford focus SE that I’ve owned. The first one had 147,000 miles on it with nothing needed but regular items. Tires, battery, regular oil changes at 5000 mile intervals and never used any oil between changes. If I kept my foot out of it, I got 38 to 41 miles mpg, if I pushed it I still got 35 at 80 mph. This one has 79,000 miles on it and I have not done anything but tires. It’s nearly as clean as off the showroom floor, as I keep my cars clean. I am very happy with this car. Depreciation is so low now, insurance is low, no payments with interest, make this an exceptionally cheap car to own. Reability has been second to none for me. Highly recommended but very hard to find a nice one with a regular maintenance performed and no rust. You can’t go wrong with the value of this car, great commuter car or for a new teenage driver. It’s rated safe. It’s also very comfortable to drive for a whole day.

2007 Toyota Corolla review
This is my third Corolla. I thrashed the first one (1990) for 20 years after I bought it at three years old, and gave it to a family member at 200k. The second ('98) was given to me by a friend who had bought it for someone else who didn't pay for it. It was totaled at 178k miles, in nearly perfect condition. This one came from an estate of a fellow parishioner. He bought it in 2010. When he passed in 2022, it had 141k miles. After it sat for a year, I bought it. Although I've only put a few hundred miles on it, it impresses me with its solidity, pep, and crisp handling. Based on past experience, I expect to get at least another hundred thousand out of it. Based on my driving habits (>10k/year) and my age, it may be the last daily-driver I ever own. Interior is a bit cramped compared to the Sonata it replaces, but high quality and comfortable. The initial surge of acceleration is a little startling, but easily controllable with a light foot. Styling is nothing to write home about, but is acceptable. Paint is chipping on the hood and fading on the roof, but overall presents well from twenty feet. I would prefer the optional alloy wheels, but I may find a set over the years I expect to have with this car. The stock stereo was malfunctioning when I got it, but I upgraded to an aftermarket 2-DIN unit with rear-view camera. The stock six-speaker setup blends nicely with the new head unit. Neither the bodywork, or the undercarriage exhibit any signs of corrosion.

2010 Subaru Forester review
This is a follow up review, I did have to change the head gaskets out on my 2010 forester. I've seen this is common, once again, the work is able to be done by a DIY mechanic. Since 2020 Ive had to change the ignition coil, spark plug wires, head gaskets in February of 2024, and also the crankshaft position sensor. The car had 165,000 miles when the head gaskets needed changed. So far it has 173,000 miles and still runs well. Also changed were the clutch and throwout beairng, and another timing belt change. It still runs very well, the exhaust is getting rusty and have had to fix that, overall its been a good car. I've owned it for 12 years and the ability to work on it yourself is what I really like about it, it isn't fast, but its quite utilitarian and my dog loves it as well. So if you don't mind working on your own stuff its one of the easiest cars to work on with the way the engine is oriented in the longitudinal position. I've always changed the oil every 4-5000 miles since I've had it, the heads and valves were completely clean. I'd say if one keeps up the servicing on these they are good vehicles to own. Not looking forward to when it blows, they don't make plain cars like this now adays.

2008 Honda Civic review
Bought 2008 with 94k miles on it and have owned it for 2 years (115k on it now). Great value car, great Dave Ramsey car(read the Total Money Makeover), great car value to avoid debt(buy one off a “grandma” (=low miles and not driven hard(it only went to church and the grocery store🤣😂)). 2007 Honda Civic review
LOVED my 2007 Honda Civic LX, 2 door coupe, 5 speed manual transmission...great gas mileage and very fun to drive! Bought it used in 2020 and over the years, I did have to have the engine mounts replaced in 2023, a new clutch in 2024 and new struts in 2025. Unfortunately in August, 2025 I was in a wreck where I hit a tree head on and spun backwards down an embankment where a bush stopped me from going into a river. I blacked out and don't remember most of it but I do know my air bags deploying and my crash bar in front saved my life! Unfortunately she lost hers and was totaled in that wreck. I have missed her every day and would recommend the Honda Civic to anyone...

I was looking at the Subaru you had, and I was told that you will not find it. Five thousand dollars , but I feel at the application , because the car I was looking Was three thousand something something You told me you do not finance. I am a man Raising my 2 granddaughter. 9 at 10 Also, I'm dealing with cancer and heart problems and need a vehicle. I can afford $78 a month. And according to your website, I qualify, but when I called, they said they will not give me a loan. Because the car was under the amount used to take loans for broke my heart, cause I needed to get back-and-forth to my hospital visits and taking my granddaughters where they need to go friends of mine said. These are very reputable, and I was hoping it was something you could do for me. I'm a little heartbroken that I can't get a card from you, I know my credit score in bed, but when it came down to paying Certain things like my medication, they destroyed my credit rating. I just like to say thank you.\n And then if there was ever anything you could do get me in a vehicle. That is between 3 and 4000 dollars. With a payment of 73 Dollars A month, I appreciate it. Not 43 big Just asking for a little freedom by driving And trying To stay alive for my girls and my family. Thank you for listening. 2008 Mazda Mazda3 review
We bought a 2008 Mazda 3 Touring hatchback new. We have driven it for over 15 years / 150,000 miles and have never had anything major break on this car. We change the oil about every 5,000 miles and had to do some work on the C/V joints at about 100K miles. We didn't even need a new clutch until 140K miles. This car handles great, has plenty of acceleration with the 5 speed manual and gets great gas mileage.
