2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
I’ve driven a lot of cars, but this one? Hands down, the quietest I’ve ever been in. It’s almost surprising how little noise makes its way into the cabin, even when you’re cruising down the highway. It’s like driving in your own little bubble—super peaceful, and perfect if you’re not into the constant road noise. On top of that, the ride is crazy smooth. It just glides over bumps, so you barely feel anything. Super comfy, too—whether you’re on a long road trip or just running errands around town, it’s one of those cars you actually enjoy being in for a while. The seats are really supportive, and there’s plenty of space for everyone inside. Looks-wise, it’s got that sleek, modern vibe going for it. The exterior turns heads, and the interior feels super premium without being over the top. Everything’s where you expect it to be, which makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the ride. If you’re into smooth, quiet drives and want something that looks as good as it feels, this car’s got it all. Would totally recommend it for anyone who likes a chill, comfortable drive.

Great communication and friendly people. Although the buying process was a little sketchy. If you DON'T FINANCE through them, there's a $1500 fee. In my instance, when I looked at the car the price was $X, when I went to purchase the car, it was $3000 higher (10 days after the initial inspection)...Look and BUY BEFORE the end of the month...(I looked on the 28th and bought on the 10th of the next month). They DID NOT honor the original price, and I showed them a screenshot of the price change. Financing was easy and the manager was very friendly and honest. He just couldn't adjust the price but offered deals on other packages (maintenance and service). Ultimately, I didn't mind paying the extra 3K because I asked and they agreed to replace all 4 brakes (about $6K) so if the car didn't need that I think the manager would have budged...or I would have waited for the end of the month again and possibly miss out on the car. Again, both managers and the salesperson were very helpful with great communication and I would buy from them again. I would just insist on the price or walk away.

2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
This car has a specific target audience, and for those people, it’s fantastic. Many buyers criticize the range, and don’t understand that highway speed will significantly reduce the range. As commuter car for 10 miles each way, you can easily go all week without charging. I don’t understand people who buy EV’s as their only car or expect to be able to road trip in them. The quiet luxury comfortable interior is best in class and fully lives up to the Lexus brand. We have an ICE Rx as well, but we take the RZ as much as we can because it’s so comfortable and fun to drive.

I did the entire transaction online, which can always be a bit stressful as the dealership is 10 hours away from me. Mike was my sales rep and I cannot imagine anyone being more responsive, thorough, and upfront about every part of the transaction. Professional, polite and personable, I always felt like I was in good hands. He picked me up at the airport, drove me back to the dealership, and I was on my way within an hour. I have purchased Mercedes, Audi, and other luxury brands, but this was by far the best customer service experience I have ever had purchasing a car. 4.95 Stars. Recently found a vehicle that I wanted, located on PricePro's lot in Ohio. (Im from Michigan) Communicated with John Velez, whom answered all my questions promptly. The car was priced low enough where no negotiations were needed. The dealership was able to do remote documentation for the sale. My only complaint, mild as it is, I bought a EV that should have been charged and ready for me when arriving. I drove from a state away to be informed their staff failed to plug it in over night. They rushed it down to a lvl3 charger and resolved the oversight! Besides the little xxxx up, I would buy again, I would recommend John Velez to you if your in the market for one of their vehicles.
2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
Already owning an EV, the time came to make our "fleet" 100% electric. I've always been partial to Lexus, and figured that the new RZ450e would be a game-changer. In a phrase, very, very close but not quite 100%. Performance and style are superior to others I looked at. Technologically, the Luxury Edition has every conceivable (and a couple of inconceivable) bells and whistles known to man. Comfort is outstanding ... so where did Lexus go wrong? 1) Range ... just a bit over 200 miles, far less than much of the competition. It's not a big deal for us, as we have a hookup at home ... but if you're looking to travel a distance, it could well present a problem. 2) Seating material ... rather than leather (either faux or genuine), seats are covered in a man-made suede, as are accent pieces throughout the vehicle. Again, it's not a dealbreaker, but I much prefer the leather in either form. This stuff also retains more heat when the vehicle is parked in our triple-digit climate. It actually takes longer for the ventilated seats to cool off, even when I remotely start it. 3) No glove compartment ... Lexus states that the space is necessary to house the new radiant heating system. Living in Texas, I have no problem with the traditional forced-air configuration (use it for just a relatively few days per year). There's a small storage space below the console, and a good sized catch-all under the armrest. Overall, though, it's a pleasure to drive. At $67k+ for the loaded version, it's no bargain, but is in line with the competition ... even a bit better than the major player. I don't expect any significant issues ... and if I decide to keep it a while, I just may have the front seats reupholstered to my liking. If the drawbacks aren't a major concern for you either, you'll certainly be very pleased. Before you decide on a new EV, drive this one. Those little issues may just somehow become almost irrelevant for you, as well.
