2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
Buttery smooth drive. Super quiet. Luxurious interior. Was deciding between RZ and Y and this car was better fit for me. I don’t need it for road trips. It’s my daily driver and I enjoy every minute in it.

2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
This car has a specific target audience, and for those people, it’s fantastic. Many buyers criticize the range, and don’t understand that highway speed will significantly reduce the range. As commuter car for 10 miles each way, you can easily go all week without charging. I don’t understand people who buy EV’s as their only car or expect to be able to road trip in them. The quiet luxury comfortable interior is best in class and fully lives up to the Lexus brand. We have an ICE Rx as well, but we take the RZ as much as we can because it’s so comfortable and fun to drive.

Laguna Niguel Hyundai review
Laguna Niguel Hyundai had a 2016 Accord Sport w/ manual transmission they were still prepping for sale. I reached out to the dealership and Mia took pictures for me which she texted. Immediate, friendly and professional. Upon arrival, Mia was busy with another customer and had Alicia take care of me. The whole experience was delightful. I am not kidding! Alicia was awesome and took excellent care of me as we went through what can typically be an arduous process. Raul was our middle man to negotiate on my behalf and went to bat for me and knocked it out of the park. Finally, signing the paperwork with Max went smooth as silk. Everyone at the dealership was personable, a joy to engage with, and made me feel elated to be buying a car from them. I feel like I made four new friends! I joked with Alicia after she told me she has sold cars to relatives, to treat me like family and that is exactly how it felt. This sales team did everything absolutely right. Who thought buying a car could be an uplifting experience. 2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
I’ve driven a lot of cars, but this one? Hands down, the quietest I’ve ever been in. It’s almost surprising how little noise makes its way into the cabin, even when you’re cruising down the highway. It’s like driving in your own little bubble—super peaceful, and perfect if you’re not into the constant road noise. On top of that, the ride is crazy smooth. It just glides over bumps, so you barely feel anything. Super comfy, too—whether you’re on a long road trip or just running errands around town, it’s one of those cars you actually enjoy being in for a while. The seats are really supportive, and there’s plenty of space for everyone inside. Looks-wise, it’s got that sleek, modern vibe going for it. The exterior turns heads, and the interior feels super premium without being over the top. Everything’s where you expect it to be, which makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the ride. If you’re into smooth, quiet drives and want something that looks as good as it feels, this car’s got it all. Would totally recommend it for anyone who likes a chill, comfortable drive.

What impressed me the most was the trade-in offer for my Honda CR-V ? he was able to give me a better price than two other used car dealers, which was a very pleasant surprise. The whole buying process was smooth and stress-free. He was attentive, patient, and made sure to take care of everything I needed along the way. I really appreciate his professionalism and support. 2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
Already owning an EV, the time came to make our "fleet" 100% electric. I've always been partial to Lexus, and figured that the new RZ450e would be a game-changer. In a phrase, very, very close but not quite 100%. Performance and style are superior to others I looked at. Technologically, the Luxury Edition has every conceivable (and a couple of inconceivable) bells and whistles known to man. Comfort is outstanding ... so where did Lexus go wrong? 1) Range ... just a bit over 200 miles, far less than much of the competition. It's not a big deal for us, as we have a hookup at home ... but if you're looking to travel a distance, it could well present a problem. 2) Seating material ... rather than leather (either faux or genuine), seats are covered in a man-made suede, as are accent pieces throughout the vehicle. Again, it's not a dealbreaker, but I much prefer the leather in either form. This stuff also retains more heat when the vehicle is parked in our triple-digit climate. It actually takes longer for the ventilated seats to cool off, even when I remotely start it. 3) No glove compartment ... Lexus states that the space is necessary to house the new radiant heating system. Living in Texas, I have no problem with the traditional forced-air configuration (use it for just a relatively few days per year). There's a small storage space below the console, and a good sized catch-all under the armrest. Overall, though, it's a pleasure to drive. At $67k+ for the loaded version, it's no bargain, but is in line with the competition ... even a bit better than the major player. I don't expect any significant issues ... and if I decide to keep it a while, I just may have the front seats reupholstered to my liking. If the drawbacks aren't a major concern for you either, you'll certainly be very pleased. Before you decide on a new EV, drive this one. Those little issues may just somehow become almost irrelevant for you, as well.
