Never a "have to have it" kind of car guy until I saw, researched and drove this car. It's a solid, powerful, and super slick cabriolet that only catches the eye of the passionate. It has a beautiful saddle leather interior with gorgeous wood details and a really good stereo that rivals todays' car stereos. It has strong and silent 4.3 V8 that is top of the list reliable. I bought my 2002 in 2023 and fixed a few things with the audio system and is now a low-mile like-new car. I love driving it when I can and will til I can't drive anymore.

For its age, it is a very Comfortable ride, powerful V8 engine, Reliable, and still in great condition. I have replaced the ML factory sound system with new speakers, sub and amp. Overall Love this ride. Hoping to have it for many years to come.

I have had a Lexus 430 SC for 8 years I love this car.I had a Mita before,.wanted a heavier car to drive on the interstate.this car is a dream very smooth ride. Easy top Down....had very little problems. It's unique and beautiful....I love the back seat..great for a dog or child or your coat and purse. . The mita had nothing...no it's not for everyone, but I like it....better than any new car....Getting ready for a new timing Belt , which they say will take care of most of the maintenance for long time. It is a 2004. They only made this car 2002 to 2010..

I read the previous reviews carefully and was concerned since I was planning on flying from South Carolina to pick up a vehicle of the year and make I had been looking for. I worked primarily with Dave, he was honest and forthright on the condition of the truck. He even took extra photos of some dents the listing might not have shown. The price was very good, and though I wanted it for less, they were willing to negotiate, so we both got a good deal. Nate, the owner was easy to work with and walked me through Oregon DMV procedures since I was from South Carolina. Everything was straightforward and above board. Dave even picked me up from the airport. Nate offered to assist me with the title should there be problems with Oregon DMV processing the new title. All in all...a very good transaction. I drove the truck 2400 miles in 3 days and had absolutely NO PROBLEMS (1998 Toyota Tacoma). I would recommend this dealership if they have what you're looking for.

I looked for a sc430 for about a year finally found a 2002 that was owned by a retired dentist this thing is cherry it still needs struts and a radiator along with timing belt. Already fixed oil leaks and tires along with control arms.153 thousand miles and it turns heads fun to drive love this car much more than my 350 Z

I purchased a 2002 SC430, black on black, with only 49,000 miles on it. Love everything about the car, it's looks, how it drives. I keep it in ECT Power mode to get that bit more impooh when I hit the accelerator. Since it's a Lexus, I'm not worried about reliability and only having to do basic maintenance. The only major upgrade to the car I've done is new tires and a rearview camera. Minor upgrades have been bluetooth and some new lighting.

I previously owned a Nissan late model 370Z. My wife stressed about riding in it even when driven with her anxieties in mind. I replaced it with a 2002 SC430 with an indigo blue paint job, that I love. Like many other reviews, I had all struts replaced, new timing belt and water pump and new tires (got run flats but regular pneumatic smoother). Engine and tranny runs smooth as silk. A/C is ice cold. Mileage was 145,000, no accidents. Interior is extremely clean with white leather seats. In four months ownership, I have had several inquisitors ask about the car. Complements too. Drive this for the design beauty, quality ride and sound mechanical attributes. I don’t put much value in calls for classic status, just as I doubt Beanie Babies value. Own it for your personal satisfaction.

The Lexus SC430 should rank among the best cars ever made, in spite of what the hosts said in Top Gear many years ago. It is a design that was ahead of its time. The convertible mechanical top on my 2006 has never failed me. The upholstery has held up flawlessly - and every button works. Admittedly, the wheels on the production models were unattractive, but that was an easy fix and I replaced the run flat tires for standard Michelins. The V-8 engine purrs and works effortlessly. People think - 18 years later - my car is brand new. This car is hands down the most solid vehicle I've ever driven and was destined to become a classic from the first day it rolled off the assembly line. BTW, wasn't the host that did the Top Gear review eventually terminated?

Felix and Mina were great! I called in at about 10:30am and Felix got me the info I needed immediately and was able to test drive 30min after our call. I explained to Mina on our test drive I was crunched for time and he got me off the lot in my new car in approximately 45 mins! I thought I was only going to have time for a test drive but these guys made everything happen that was needed for me to get into my new ride. It was hands down a great overall experience and I definitely recommend everyone to give these guys a visit if you’re looking for a car. These cars are an amazing value. Quite simply many people hate the styling. Hence a low price. Nothing I write matters on this. You like it or don’t or put up with it for the value. The interior is simply stunning. Other than a Bentley I had no other car I’ve seen is nicer inside. Quality materials. Nice leather. Stunning real wood. And unlike anything else a way to cover the nav screen with a wood door. Stereo is excellent. Ride quality is fantastic for long trips. No. Not a super fast car in corners. Fast enough and very comfortable. Engine is silky smooth and whisper quiet. Except when you floor it you get that v8 growl. Again not a dragster but plenty powerful enough. The roof is magic. A hardtop coupe most of the time but a fantastic open top with minimal buffeting. Reliable. Very reliable. Excellent Lexus service if needed. Our 2004 has merely 60k miles and zero repairs. Many of these are low miles. Toyota reliability is a great comfort. Big and heavy and safe. Plenty of airbags and great brakes. Mass is safer than lighter cars. Do the negative? It is not easy on gas. Styling is either love or hate. Navigation system cannot be updated and CarPlay is not available although there are kits to add it including nav music and phone. So the electronic toys are dated. To give you an idea my new car is a Porsche 911. Modern. But on long trips or just getting from A to Z the Lexus is first choice. Porsche is more modern and exciting but … not as beautiful inside nor comfortable. I totally recommend this if the styling and gas mileage and electronics are not an issue. The value is unbelievable and unbeatable.

If you want to address the acceleration concern look to sc430mods.com they sell an accelerator modulator $99. It turns this car into a beast! and you can vary the rate of acceleration. This makes the car xxxx and git. love the mod, plug and play too. Also someone ask about backup camera, they also have a plug and play camera set up that lets you go right through the nav system, come on in reverse and goes back to nav all the rest of the time. Also added a bluetooth receiver $20 on amazon. my 2002 has a aux in the back so it plugs right in, press fm if aux comes up on screen it has a direct connect, sounds awesome. only early models had this I think. This is one great car!

I have an ‘05 in indigo ink pearl, it drives super smooth and looks great! A lot of people have no love for the wheels, but I think it just adds to the unique quirky nature of the car, personally I love them. A good thing about the wheels, is they can be changed to something even more hideous, if you like. This car is never going to light the world on fire, but most people that see it, have never seen one before and I get compliments all the time.

I am writing ANOTHER review for Trend Auto since I continue to use them for maintenance issues regarding my used Toyota Sienna that I purchased from them years ago. This Beast is my favorite car ever! nobody believes me when I say its a 17 year old car. So comfy, and reasonably quick. Drop the top, and you experience an entirely different car. I hope to have this car forever as my weekend warrior. I don't drive crazy and fast, and I am averaging about 22 miles a gallon.....not too bad for a V8 rear wheel drive car. I still get compliments almost everytime I drive it. This car can brighten your day just by dropping the top (takes about 25 seconds) and cruising. Sure, you basically don't have back seats, but you know that going into this car purchase. Get one, you will be happy! And to those people ragging this car out....have you ever driven one? It's looks are definitely polarizing, but I find it to be retro and current at the same time. It has actually grown on me since I do not see them very often these days.

I recently purchased a 2007 Honda CRV FWD LX at the Camp Hill location, with Barry as my salesman. He helped me purchase the vehicle as quickly as I needed, as I was in a pinch and liked this one a lot. However, I noticed it pulled to the right a bit while driving it. Barry offered to take care of the alignment issue, no questions asked. His mechanic Scott took care of everything and my car now drives better than any SUV I've driven in my short lifetime. A lot of these reviews I see are known issues for the type of vehicle they were buying, so I'm not surprised. I'd recommend this place and Barry/Scott anytime.

Aside from the hideous wheels, the car looks great, but in a non conventional way. The build quality and materials are excellent. The smoothness of the purring V8 is a pleasure. The car does not pretend to be a sports car, so if you want go cart handling, look elsewhere. Personally, I don’t take the corners as if I were in a road race, so the smooth ride is good for my needs. Overall, a unique, reliable, and satisfying vehicle.
