ASE Parts Specialist and Mercedes tech retired. 2016 mkz 3.7 now with 60k miles. Throttle position sensor went south. Part of the throttle body. Simple job. Only issue I’ve had. Don’t understand why there is no front windshield chrome strip. Almost looks like it starting to delaminate ! Hmm Luxury car with no window trim odd I think. 3.7 pretty fast handles good. Car is very quiet inside and with the adjustable suspension you can make it from soft to firm. Plenty of power and got 25.9 mpg on the highway doing 75 mph. 19 speaker Revel is the best sound system I ever heard in a vehicle. Much better ride than our Escape had or even the Edge.

I bought my Signature Town Car new in 2007 and used it as an airport limousine for four years I kept it as my private vehicle after the airport contract expired and have driven it daily ever since. It now has 510,000 miles on the original engine. The transmission was rebuilt at just over 300,000 miles. The car runs like new, with regular maintenance. The oil change guys freak out when they hear how quiet and smooth the engine is. Best built, best riding car I've ever owned. Amazing vehicle.

I have not owned a domestic car since 1986. I've owned mostly Mercedes and Jaguars for the past 35 years. The Continental compares very favorably to the Jaguar XJ-L and Mercedes Benz E-Class. I needed a 4-door sedan that could be serviced near my home which left mostly domestic (GM / Ford / Chrysler) brands to choose from. I relocated to an area about 85 miles outside a major metropolitan area and didn't enjoy the 1.5 hour drive to and from my servicing dealers (Mercedes and Jaguar) after a decade of doing so. I'm not a fan of Chrysler styling so I test drove a Cadillac and the Lincoln Continental. After comparing both cars, In 2022 we chose a 2018 Lincoln Certified PreOwned Continental Reserve AWD with the 2.7 twin-turbo under 20K miles. This car was a special-order with most every available option offered. The build quality is on par with Cadillac, Jaguar and other makes that I've owned. Comparing the Infotainment/technology to both Mercedes and Jaguar, the Lincoln tech is so much easier to set up, navigate and use. Engine response and performance is excellent! Interior leather and trim is top-notch with the 72-thousand position front seats, revel sound system, back seat package, technology package and other features. I absolutely love the exterior styling of the car...it looks expensive and feels expensive. The original msrp of my car was just under $70,000 when new...so perhaps it simply was expensive!
