2013 Audi Q5 review
Very responsive handling, which makes it fun to drive. You'll get a sport feel in an SUV. The panoramic sunroof is great for summer evening cruising. Seats are a bit stiff, but you almost don't notice because you're too busy enjoying the interior design.

2017 Cadillac XT5 review
We purchased this vehicle from a cadi dealer. At $31,200 it was reasonable. Today, 6 years later, you pay 10 grand more for new mid size cars. It had been a leased car with 25,000 miles. Have now owned it for 6 years and have driven it only 22,000 miles. Dealer was poor but that has nothing to do with the automobile. VERY comfortable, quiet, nice riding. Very good sound system. Has the V-6 and for a vehicle of this size and weight gets excellent gas mileage. Driving hwy. @ 60 mph gets 30 mpg, mixed about 23-24. Good visibility and backup camera. Lots of safety features. Beautiful paint. Just had to have a small engine part replaced. Part cost $27, labor $500 from my honest mechanic. Would have cost $200-$300 more @ dealer. Only repair so far and nly complaint. I replaced battery, as maintenance, 2 years ago. Air and cabin filters + oil changes are maintenance issues. Just discovered tranny service required at 45,000 miles. Will be done.

A very pleasant experience even before we looked at the vehicle with helpful & informative calls and messages with photos of the car we were interested in. We purchased a used Volvo and we will certainly consider buying from these people again. I felt the experience was authentic & not just trying to force something on us.

I have owned dozens of cars, trucks and minivans. This vehicle is the most versatile of them all. The V6 AWD is great on the hwy. And the steering is nimble in street driving. I would recommend to anyone to purchase. Stow and Go seats are best in class.

2010 Subaru Forester review
This is a follow up review, I did have to change the head gaskets out on my 2010 forester. I've seen this is common, once again, the work is able to be done by a DIY mechanic. Since 2020 Ive had to change the ignition coil, spark plug wires, head gaskets in February of 2024, and also the crankshaft position sensor. The car had 165,000 miles when the head gaskets needed changed. So far it has 173,000 miles and still runs well. Also changed were the clutch and throwout beairng, and another timing belt change. It still runs very well, the exhaust is getting rusty and have had to fix that, overall its been a good car. I've owned it for 12 years and the ability to work on it yourself is what I really like about it, it isn't fast, but its quite utilitarian and my dog loves it as well. So if you don't mind working on your own stuff its one of the easiest cars to work on with the way the engine is oriented in the longitudinal position. I've always changed the oil every 4-5000 miles since I've had it, the heads and valves were completely clean. I'd say if one keeps up the servicing on these they are good vehicles to own. Not looking forward to when it blows, they don't make plain cars like this now adays.

2020 Mazda CX-5 review
I love it! Bought it new in 2020. Grand Touring Reserve with the turbo in Soul Crystal red metallic. I'm currently at 56k miles with zero issues. I do oil changes every 5k miles. Originally I test drove a CRV, RAV4, Forrester, and CX5. I picked the Mazda bc it looks, feels, and drives like a luxury SUV. 320 |b/ft of torque for a compact really gives it the edge over anything else in the class. Four years later and it still feels as solid as the day I bought it. The handling's amazing, and the ride is great! Some people have called the ride firm but I would say it's super compliant. It settles very quickly over bumps without feeling upset. The Bose system sounds "good" but only has bass and treble adjustments with no mid which would make it even better. The ventilated seats work better than in other cars I tested as well. It's also one of the quietest too letting in very little wind and tire noise.

Hertz Car Sales review
I bought my mom a car this week and was blown away by how stress free it was. Shandra Martin did an absolutely wonderful job making things easy and quick. We discussed my moms situation and looked at several cars, I ended up test driving a 2020 Nissan Murano with 35k miles on it. It was perfect! Shandra did all the paperwork, was able to meet my price budget and had everything completely ready when the final paperwork was signed. I couldn’t have been happier with my car buying experience at Hertz.

I bought a Ford Maverick a couple of days ago. Sales Rep Joel Bechtold expedited things as much as he could -- he even swapped the vehicle we'd discussed for its twin due to a mechanical issue. The finance/title officer got us through the stack of papers as neatly as it could be done. My sweetheart now says I'm having an affair with the truck.
2017 Kia Sportage review
I purchased a good deal, but it turned out that it had an almost brand new engine, so the deal was much better. Why the new engine? Because the old one was leaking oil. Yes, oil leaks and oil consumption is the major issue people on this car, I had read about it. As having a new engine, I don´t have the issue yet, but I am aware, and I care the oil. Other than that, it provides power and it is reliable. On the left hand, the habitability and visibility in the interior is not the best to say something. To enter I have to bend my head down a bit, and I am a short guy. Also, at high speeds, it is not very stable on the steering; you need to grab the steering wheel and correct a little bit. In summary, I am happy because of what I got for very cheap. But for a regular price, it wouldn´t be my first option, nor the last one either.

2014 Dodge Durango review
When I bought my 2014 in 2015 every was great until just a few years ago. The injectors started failing and needed replacement. The passenger seatbelts stop working. The Third row seating isn't for seating it's for luggage or dogs. It has its issues but it's still very popular. If your warranty expires get the diamond plan or top tier plan to cover repairs as the repairs are expensive.

Chas was a dream to work with. He was patient, kind and super knowledgeable about everything we asked about. He took the time to learn what we truly needed vs what we wanted. Then made a recommendation to drive another vehicle with no pressure. He was so right! I took a week to consider since it wasn’t originally on my list and decided to go with Chas's recommendation. Moving into the buying process both Chas and Victoria worked hard to create a fair deal for all. Victoria was sweet and personable and truly listed while we worked to close the deal. What a wonderful team Archie Cochrane has - ask for Chas and Victoria!!
2020 Subaru Ascent review
Practical. We love our 2020 Ascent Limited and we live in the south. We have a large family and this is great while the kids are small. Once more than three are teenagers, we'll definitely need a larger vehicle that provides more leg room if you're sitting on the back row. Love the convenience and ease of how the rear seats fold forward when I'm shopping and/or loading up from the back. The 10 year 100k mile warranty was reasonably priced at less than $2.5k. Haven't had to use it yet (knock on wood). Again, it's practical so the seats aren't as plush as premium vehicles but they're nice and comfortable. This pretty much describes the interior. The electronics are comparable to most vehicles. It has everything you need but nothing over the top. (Again, practical.) Greatly appreciate the cabin air filter and ease of changing it. I like smelling a fresh interior all the time. We're in the south where it's high in pollen, so the HEPA cabin filter is perfect. In my opinion the Ascent is a great mid-size SUV option that looks nice, is practical and has that Subaru reliability.

2008 Chevrolet Avalanche review
We are really loving our truck. It has been on many camping , fishing, hunting , and photo taking adventures. It pulls our boat well. Have had to replace bearings, brakes, and heater fan, but it is 12 years old. The tonneau cover has been appreciated in the rainy area we live in to protect our camping gear. The way the window in the back seat area comes out and has built in storage is another plus. It’s a very comfortable ride. We are very happy with our choice of an Avalanche.

2016 Dodge Journey review
I bought this car with 70,000,when it was one year old. It has been very reliable, I still use it and I am at 250,000 miles right now. I did have to do a transmission repair at about 150,000, and I do have a small oil pan leak right now at 250,000. Both of these fixes are not unusual for the number of miles they have. I use it for my every day commute of about 50 miles/ day, and have traveled all over the US with it and used it as a ride share vehicle for a period. So I will say I am very happy with the overall purchase and reliability of the vehicle. It has been great for my family of 5.

2017 Subaru WRX review
Fun daily driver with nice response time. The exterior is sharp (especially compared to the new models). The exhaust has a great throaty tone to it. My biggest complaint is the interior air controls. All subarus have them and they are not intuitive.

2007 Subaru Impreza review
This car has been the most reliable, toughest car I've ever owned. It has never let me down. Maintenance is very affordable. Plenty of power for all your lane passing needs and plenty of stopping power even in the most slippery conditions. The AWD system is perfect for washington winters! All electronics still work! I've only had to replace bulbs. Anybody who drives this car will totally love it.

Got 104k miles . Did the recall with the power steering. Oil change 2x a year. Just a great car for me. Someone with skinny arms can change the headlight without taking off the whole front.

Urban Motors Blue review
This purchase from Urban Motors was my first sight unseen experience. Tyler was extremely patient answering all of my texts, of which there were many. I appreciated his willingness to work hard with a distant purchaser. The delivery truck arrived on time- thanks for making a stressful purchase work well!
2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse review
I kinda feel in love with the GT 3.0 model when I seen how cool vin Diesel looked zooming around if the fast and the furious I love almost everything about this cat, starting with how it fits like a glove, and envelopes my body when I opening the door and getting in . There could be a slight headroom issue if you're 6' or taller That's easily overlooked because once seated adjusted and buckled it feels almost perfect. The satisfaction continues when I start the 3.0 liter naturally aspirated v6 engine and heat it's throaty growl. It accelerates nicely ,but leaves you wanting just a bit more .handled superbly on the freeway and in traffic.I can handled some hairpin turns at 50+ mph where lots of other comparable cars have to slow down to 25-30 mph . ( however I don't recommend that you do that .I tend to push performance cars to their absolute limits .the car is moderately easy mechanically speaking to work on .The engines oxygen sensors are a pain in the neck and can really throw a lot of other stuff crucial to high performance for a loop if I don't stay after it. Seems like it's quite a bit more difficult to satisfy the service engine soon light after the odometer goes pass 130,000 or so .the one big bright red flag with these cars would be the timing belt and how the motor is pretty much toast if I breaks while driving .Any driver buying this model should immediately replace the timing belt upon purchasing if the odometer has 80 thousand or more.

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 review
Bought a 2001 Dodge ram from a small car dealership in Boise Idaho with about 95,000 Original miles and it was a very fun truck. The only things i didn't liked about it was the factory headlights suck especially driving around at 9:30. I also didn't like the fact that my truck radio didn't have the cd player but I got over that almost instantly. In my opinion if your looking for a fun off-roading truck or a daily driver these trucks are ideal.
