This is no luxury car but if you are looking for a smaller car with great reliabilty and lower maintenance costs this is a great option. I am a petite female and the car is quite comfortable for me. I drive 18 miles one way into Minneapolis and the ride is enjoyable enough. This is my 2nd Mazda 3, ironically same color as my previous only because of availabilty. This model year all wheel drive was available and served me well in our Minnesota winters. Standard safety features are appreciated. I don't need all the bells and whistles but I do like connecting my phone to my car.

I purchased a 2022 Mazda 3 Select from Cochran Mazda in Wexford, PA. The sales lead Ben Schuster was awesome to deal with and really knew the product. The car is amazing, a step up in quality over the German made 2015 car I was driving: more power, better mpg, better fits, the best modern tech, and all the comforts.

Johnny and Adam are THE BEST!!!! I bought my first Subaru Forrester there 10 years ago. But my experience today at was.....I have NO words to explain how awesome they both were. They were SO helpful with EVERYTHING. I hated to let my Forrester go, but it was time. 😟 Those are two of the greatest guys OMG.....They had us feeling relaxed. I haven't owned a 4 cylinder in a long time. I had a turbo 5 Volvo, a 6 cylinder accord, and a Mercedes c300 6 as my last three cars, then before that I owned a last model year RSX (2006, I wouldn't count the new ones) for a long time so that's the closest comparison to this. I think the RSX felt a bit more sporty (I didn't have the Type S), but as for power they're a pretty close match, and I bet the Mazda 3 would smoke it off the line with it's torque heavy engine. I think the RSX looked more sporty too, it had probably a more mature styling to it that I appreciate now even more than I did when I owned one, but I will say every time I look at my Mazda 3 I like it more and more. I've seen a thousand of these on the road and never had a strong opinion on them, but my girl in red keeps growing on me, and when I take the dog out for walks I circle the car and look it over and understand it more and more. I have a 2018 fully loaded GT, and the interior is mostly it's strongest positive. The facelifted w204 is easily the nicest looking interior I've ever been in, and the accord maybe the most comfortable, but this is incredibly close to the accord in terms of comfort and only lacking in slightly worse seats and less room. The seats are great though, but the 2012 accords were some of the best I've say in. The fake leather has a great balance of firm and give to it, and what's even better is the whole interior is wrapped in a similar nice synthetic material that's a joy to be wrapped in. I've never owned a car where my arms are supported on both sides in such a comfortable manner. I'm 6'1 so I keep my seat low but I feel like I have a good deal of room, in fact, I test drove a 2023 (gen 4) Mazda 3 that was an incredible price, about $800 off from my 2018 and even less miles but the new interior design is nowhere close to as good as what we get in the gen 3. You have almost no room to spread your legs out in the newer models and that's a deal breaker for me. The one major weakness of the 2018's interior is the tablet on top of the dash looks hideous. I think I mentioned earlier my model is fully loaded, and I mean it. But what's that mean, a premium sound system, some exterior trim pieces tacked on? Nope, here we have some genuinely cool features. Adaptive headlights that turn with the wheel, a heads up display that's projected on a piece of clear plastic that raises up when you start the engine and can show speed, road signs, blind spot info, next GPS heading, etc. We have automatic windshield wipers, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a great Bose sound system, paddle shifters. My car has more bells and whistles than my wife's high trim 2023 Tuscon. I really love my little Mazda, and I'm hoping to take it down some back roads to see if I can enjoy the driving part as much as some others do, as I've mostly spent time on the highway or in stop and go so far. This was a purchase I was unsure of 3 days ago when I made it, but every couple waking hours something pulls me to that car, whether to drive it or just to sit in it. I know now I've made a great choice.

Bought 2017 Mazda3 Touring 6 Speed Manual new. It now has 180k miles. Fun to drive, great on fuel, great handling (Way better than Toyota Corolla), more than enough technology including Android Auto & Apple Car Play, easy on maintenance, very reliable (More reliable than Toyota in my opinion)

I've been driving Mazda3 for 6 years. It is the best car among all the cars I've tried in the same price range. The sound system is totally the best, which is important for me as a musician. I have rented even newer models of other car brands and the sound system were trashy, also I had to carry the actual key, which is annoying. I like that Mazda3 has a sensor lock and starts with a button, and I don't have to carry a bulky key. Never had any failures with this car.

I Went with my mom to get a car here at north hills auto mall and we had a wonderful experience! The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We would highly recommend getting a used car here! We unfortunately did not have the same experience at other places we went in the area, and we really appreciated the service we received here!

This so now the 2nd, Mazda 3 I've owned, The first being a 2005 hatchback, this one now the 2010 sedan Overall this car is a great car, in both Mazda 3s I've had now, they've had no major mechanical failures and the work has been routine work, owned the 2005 one for just over three years before it got totaled on an accident back in 2021, the car probably still had another 10 years in it, The 2010 one I have now is the 2nd gen Mazda 3 of course, and its a significant upgrade (excluding it being the sedan instead of the hatchback which does negatively impact storage space) The 2010 Mazda 3 here has great handling, is sporty for it's class, and is very fun to drive, but if you're looking for a car that rides smoothly, this car doesn't, it does have rather stuff suspension. The exterior (in my opinion) is a lot better than it was on the previous body style, I get the "big smiling" front end isn't for everyone but I love the look I did briefly mention storage space earlier for the sedan - the storage space is better than other cars in it's class, and the truck is quite big for a vehicle of it's size, but the opening is small and makes it difficult to fit really any big items in, as for the hatchback, it does fix that issue, I was actually able to fit two full sized bikes inside the vehicle (after putting the back seats down) Although this car does have 1 major issue, The dashboard, Mazda made it out of a rubber plastic material, that when left in the sun, melts and creates a shiney sticky mess that can impact your vision with glare, getting a dash cover at least hides it, but to properly fix it, it requires replacement of the entire dashboard, (which Mazda does not have a tsb or warranty for)

We bought a 2008 Mazda 3 Touring hatchback new. We have driven it for over 15 years / 150,000 miles and have never had anything major break on this car. We change the oil about every 5,000 miles and had to do some work on the C/V joints at about 100K miles. We didn't even need a new clutch until 140K miles. This car handles great, has plenty of acceleration with the 5 speed manual and gets great gas mileage.

Most reliable car in my 37 years of driving! NO problems. Biggest negative are brakes grabbing at parking lot speeds. Biggest positive 39 mpg average. I had software upgraded and replaced USB module from Walmart for Android auto and Apple carplay

My experience at Lot#1 Robinson location of #1 Cochran was simple and quick. I walked the oot for about 5 minutes before I was approached by a Salesperson. This afforded me an opportunity to examine the 2 vehicles that I was interested in without any pressure or interference! The Salesperson was complimentary and almost apologetic about the condition of the cars, which explained the great price posted online. The issues were mostly cosmetic ( peeling clear coat) and foreign sealant surrounding the rear tire wells and panels. Pictures provided online were okay but perhaps a more realistic depiction of problem areas would have been useful.

Great first car. I only had my 2014 for about 2 years before I wrecked it but in that time but almost 80k miles on it, driving it hard, from Florida to Maine to Montana and just about everywhere in between. She did me so well that whole time, only having some fairly minor transmission issues a couple months after I purchased her used. Acceleration/shifting could be a litttttle janky sometimes too but it was nothing I ever worried about and it wasn’t much worse than most used cars I’ve driven. Super comfortable with amazing fuel economy and great tech for the year, and handled like a dream.

Contacted the dealer for a test drive of the Tesla and they told me 1 PM would work. When I showed up, the car had not been detailed (it had just been traded in a day ago) and was dirty on the inside. I wish they would have told me that it hadn't detailed and let me decide whether to wait until it had been detailed. Took it on the test drive and the salesman helped me figure out how to do things like adjust the side view mirrors (never drove a Tesla before). A decent experience, but since they don't emphasize Teslas, they couldn't answer all of my questions.

The sound system is amazing. I upgraded my old Mazda 3, 2015 to a 2023. The inside is much quieter. I love my heated seats. We've owned many Mazdas and have loved them all. The reliable little cars with great gas mileage.

had the best experience buying my new CX-5 Carbon edition at #1 Cochran Mazda North Hills. I found a vehicle I loved on their website and was very pleasantly surprised to stumble across a great financing offer! I reached out Friday afternoon and worked with Ben Schuster to set up a test drive this morning and was able to come home with it by this afternoon. Ben was outstanding to work with, very knowledgeable, understanding, and had a very non intimating approach. Everything was seamless from the test drive to the paperwork. I also appreciate the dealership’s clear and straightforward approach to pricing and financing. I had an estimate of the car payment in my email within 30 minutes of reaching out Friday…made it much easier to move forward with the process knowing exactly what I was getting into ahead of time. All in all I highly recommended Cochran as a dealership and Ben as a salesman!

Previously we have owned a 2016 Mazda Hatchback with the 2.0 liter engine and manual transmission. Our biggest complaint with that car was the lack of power. We were not expecting a performance car, but the 2 liter engine in that car was just anemic. My wife didn't feel safe trying to pull out into traffic. We recently purchased a 2024 Mazda 3 Premium with 2.5 liter engine and manual transmission. While still not feeling like a sports car (it is not one) it does have considerably more torque than the 2016 we owned previously. Things we like about the 2024 model: - the bump in power - fuel economy - the interior. the seats are somewhat firm, but comfy. The dash is nicely layed out - the buttons on the console are useful - heater/AC controls are buttons and knobs - easy to use - the heater fan! We have had several Mazdas, and the fan has always been underpowered. the fan in this car is adequate - two driver settings that will put the seat in the correct position, as well as let you set the brightness of the heads up display - seat heaters Things we don't like: - auto sensing wipers. the only way to use the intermittent wipers is with the 'auto' setting, and it operates properly only intermittently at best - the door for the gas filler. it is not difficult, but if you don't know how to do it, you may need to google (what I had to do at the gas station) - Fully electric parking brake - I would prefer a manually operated brake. - The pedal area is somewhat narrow. I have somewhat wide feet, so I have to keep that in mind, as some shoes make driving cumbersome. The reliability question was required, which is a rather lame requirement when one has owned a car for a month. I gave it 3 stars as I have no idea yet as to the reliability.
