This car is in excellent condition. The body and convertible roof are in great shape. The paint is in great shape, wheels and tires look great. Everything on it is original and in good condition. Everything has been well maintained since 1988. It is still a go getter, smooth ride.

Just a quick note of thanks. Every time I shift through the 6 speeds or exit a corner I have a greater sense of appreciation for this Porsche. You spent a considerable amount of time and were very patient with me during the buying process. I realize it was a small sale for Motorcar Classics but I felt as if I were buying a Carrera GT from you. There were no surprises, the delivery you arranged was smooth and I just love this car!

This is a great classic sports car that hugs the road and is pure fun to take on a drive through mountains or coastal highways! Great for getting away for the weekend a enjoying the country.

I was looking for something for my grandson (cheap) and I saw the 1999 f250 which caught MY attention. It looked beautiful to me and when called about it… I was too late. So still looking for him because he is driving my F150 to Shelton until he finds a ride. At least he’s got job.? Rock solid reliable, this MLC convertible has the performance and handling to sauve my MLC angst. With the top down it's like a motorcycle only safer, with heat and a killer stereo. What's not to love? Jerry's Little Car Shop is overhauling the engine and replacing the clutch after 120K blissful miles. Despite my wife offering it to anyone who passes by our house, I hope I never have to sell this beauty.

My wife have had this care for 25 years . We are only the second owner of this car since it was new. Has been parked in our garage most of this time. Very peppy fun car to drive . Year stated above is wrong. It is a 1987 model. Could not change on input form

We love this rare, beautiful, classic sports car but need something more practical with two kids in college. Given the age, it's in excellent condition, with lots of recent maintenance (rebuilt transmission 2020). Much TLC has gone into it. I think you'll love it, too! This is a 1989 FC Convertible. this review is more about a dealership than a car which is a 1988 mazda rx7.. this car was bought in Michigan and delivered to Cleveland with a final destination of N.Y. The dealer was Schafer Chevrolet and the salesman's name was Jared who even became my friend during the transaction. The car was solid but had a few issues, having no warranty I thought i was basically screwed. But after i contacted Jared with my concerns i was floored when he said Schafer Chevrolet would make it right. I live three states away from this dealer so you can imagine my surprise . Schafer Chevrolet in Pinconning Mi is a dealership i would buy from again , that is refreshing in today's cut throat world ..thanks Jared and Schafer..

This is a great, fun, solid car. I can't stress that enough, the steering, power, weight ratio, is just perfectly balanced. The 1.3l Rotary engine is just amazing, and so much fu to drive. I've put over 12,000 miles on my Rx-7 and the only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I have a baby on the way. If it had a backseat, I'd probably keep it! The only thing is the reliability. I've had 3 problems within the last month, all little things, and easily fixable, but annoying when it's your daily driver. Thankful that I have a motorcycle as a backup vehicle.

Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.

It's actually very comfortable and very fun to drive! The sterero has headrest speakers, so hearing your music with the top down is no problem. The car is not to big, easy to park, but feels bigger than your tiny convertibles. Oh, the top is really easy to put down. Half power and half manual. I always get alot of "NICE CAR!" where ever I go in it.So get one if you can, their are not many around.

It was sexy love at first sight! Beautiful baby blue pearl color and babes magnet. I could not be more happy than that. smooth and powerful drives but short live on the engine. I can still hear the sound of the engine when I'm cruising and pulling into the garage. will buy it again if my wife let me!
