December 2024 bought a 2023 Mazda Miata Grand Touring with 34,500 miles. Drove the car from South Florida to the SC coast, 10 hours. Fantastic fun drive! 6 speed manual with a soft top only weighs 2350 pounds, spirited ride, excellent power and fuel economy, 35 mpg. Good tech with blind spot monitors, cruise, power windows and locks. Push button start, heated seats and navigation just enough tech. Puts a smile on your face just looking at it, lots of compliments and you are just happy driving this magnificent, magical machine!! Just love it! 🥰

At first glance you ask yourself... what did I buy. It looks small and very low to the ground. You manage to get in and start the car. The engine roars to life and it's louder than what you might be used to. The seat hugs your body and you begin to get comfortable. First gear sprints the MX-5 into what feels like a roller coaster ride. It's lively and fun, and you tell yourself... yeah, I can get used to this. Is you're looking for excuses to take it out for a ride.

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. I moved up from a 2015 Mazda 3 sport to the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring soft top in May of 2020. It is soul red with tan leather interior. I have received many compliments from people who say the car looks more expensive then it really is. I prefer the soft top over the hard top model because it was almost 5 grand cheaper and I get more open space when driving with the top down. Takes me about two seconds to drop the top even while I'm sitting in the driver seat at a stop light. It is a lot of fun in sport mode on the highway as you can easily pass about anyone in seconds. Sometimes people move out of you way when they see you in their rear view mirror, lol. I turned off the lane departure feature as it beeps too much for me. I love the blind spot feature, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, seat heaters, and rain sensing wipers. There is a lot of wind noise in the cabin even with the top up and it is not as comfortable on long rides like the Mazda 3 was but I wouldn't go back. The trunk space is only good for one week of groceries or one carry on suitcase. There is no spare tire so I recommend having roadside assistance. CarPlay for iPhone works seamlessly and the Bose system sounds awesome. Build quality is top notch on this car, nothing feels cheap, and everything is laid out well. You have storage behind your seats but be aware the glove box is in between the seats and can be blocked by anything in the cup holders. I'm 5 foot 3 so this car fits me perfectly.

I'm still orginal 2006 owner.Great little mousee Everyone loves the orginal color.Color name kept private. Lots of wanna buyers.I don't want to let it go because of issue one problem.. this start of yr.noticed fluid leak from transmission its rear main seal,instead of replacing this part, it's highly possible gonna replace whole rebuilt transmission.Thinking of not replace rmseal because engine and transmission may have to come down and would have to pay twice, We don't think will owe another mazda reason no transmission dip stick and can't check your fluid like we have oil dipstick.You would have to go in pay for fluid fill up n pay for gasket plus labor

There are a lot of professional reviews that state the absolute fun of driving this vehicle. After owning this car and driving in multiple traffic conditions in south Florida, I have to say that the reviews are completely correct. I've owned my share of cars, including some sports cars, like a 2021 WRX (manual tranny) and a 2004 RX-8 (auto tranny). This 2022 Miata MX-5 definitely beats the WRX hands down in drivability and fun. It also edges out the RX-8, but the rotary is something in its own class. My favorite thing about this car is the gear ratio. It fits in almost every driving condition. There's plenty of room in 1st and 2nd while in rush hour traffic, and if you want to step on it, holy cow! This car is F>A>S>T>!!! It's reportedly set to go to 60mph in under 6 seconds, and I believe it. After 500 miles on the odo, the car seemed to open up and got even more fast and fun. At first I thought the cockpit was too small. After getting into this car from my Mazda 3, I felt cramped and a bit claustrophobic. That lasted about three days. Now it feels totally natural and comfortable. I'm 5'9" and slender build, so I really fit in this car. Someone above 6ft tall and larger build would probably feel tight. This is a glorious go kart, with a Bose stereo, terra cotta leather seats, and platinum quartz color. It corners like no one's business, and if I turned off my traction control, it would drift beautifully. With the traction control, it catches and corrects in an intentional slide. The turning radius is ridiculously tiny. Throwing the top open takes about 3 seconds, literally. The seats have speakers in the head area for calls and the higher pitch of the Bose sound. This is my daily driver, and I love it. If you have a partner who has a larger car for the more practical notions, go get one of these before you turn 80. You'll be glad you did.

The seller was very helpful and upfront. I was made extremely comfortable in his knowledge of the vehicle and the vehicles they were selling. Even though I was an out of state buyer they worked on a deal that was good enough that I was going to move forward with them in purchasing and then have them deliver the car to my doorstep. I decided on another vehicle that came up closer to home and didn't purchase from them but the courtesy they provided and the experience that I had with them is worthy of a good review and would recommend doing business with them.

2011 retractable hard top touring our fourth Miata to own gives us affordable driving enjoyment. Well designed and quality assembled Miata’s prove there will always be a market for small rear wheel drive manual shift sport cars. We like our Miata!

John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. Every time I have sold or traded in my Miata I have regretted it. We relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas from Salt Lake City, Utah last November. We had three cars including a 2008 MX-5 that I had bought in 2020 with only 36,000 miles on it. We sold the 2008 MX-5 and after moving I decided to get another one, my fourth. It took about a month but I was lucky to find a 2010 GT PRHT WITH!!! just 1500 miles! I had it shipped here from Garland, Texas and am so glad I did. This Miata must have been in a car collection since it looks like it just came off of a showroom floor. The engine still smells like a new engine breaking in and there is not a scratch on it. Love this car and will never sell this one. This 2010 handles better than my previous three did.

I’m 6’3” and 250 lbs and fit perfectly in this little car. Very fun to drive! I always drop the top and go; very easy to put up and down while sitting in the drivers seat. Very quick and I love the standard 6 speed. The older ones I didn’t fit in. It does not fit much, but it is a lot of fun to drive and also has a premium sound system and ice cold air and CD player. I always wanted an MG when I was young. This is even better.
