The engine roars to life and it's louder than what you might be used to. The seat hugs your body and you begin to get comfortable. First gear sprints the MX-5 into what feels like a roller coaster ride. It's lively and fun, and you tell yourself... yeah, I can get used to this. The first time I bought a car (not from CarMax) it was a terrible experience and I was stuck with a hunk of junk that was worth far less than what I owed. I’m 6’3” and 250 lbs and fit perfectly in this little car. Very fun to drive! I always drop the top and go; very easy to put up and down while sitting in the drivers seat. Very quick and I love the standard 6 speed. The older ones I didn’t fit in. It does not fit much, but it is a lot of fun to drive and also has a premium sound system and ice cold air and CD player. I always wanted an MG when I was young. This is even better.

I bought my 2017 Ford Fusion here. I love it and service here was exceptional!! Alex was very professional and attentive. The financial rep was very polite and professional as well. Very efficient. Test drove car, handled paperwork and drove away looking fine in my new ride in a little more than an hour and a half. Truly efficient. Would recommemd to everyone!!

I've done a lot of research on this model and I've never seen a poor rating. Now I know why! This is one of the most fun cars I've ever driven and it rides really well!

So I owned my 2007 Miata for one year and two months until someone hit it when it was parked, and it got totaled. I bought it for $7000 and it had 213000 miles on it. The first year I spent around $1500 on repairs, maybe this number is so high because I wanted to take care of it well and others don't care to repair something immediately when it needs to be repaired. I also did all repairs with my dad so labor costs were not an issue. I talked to many friends who have cars like mustangs, enclaves and maximas and they pretty much all spent under 1,000 on repairs in the first year (they spent an average of like 400-500). Their cars ranged in years and miles. I assume the high milage on this car made the more frequent repairs needed. Anyway I loved this car gas milage was good and there was a few leaks like the rear brake light needed new gaskets under it. Great car but I feel like I was cheated a bit.

So my wife Christine and I were looking for a specific used car for our 16 year old daughter Angelina’s first car! This is my second Miata. I also own an ‘03 NB and have put a lot into it over the years. I’ve eyeballed ‘16+ Miatas for years and finally found a ‘21 Grand Touring with 2k miles on it and bought it. Aesthetically, it is a beautiful car. Ergonomically, everything is in its proper place and I fit perfectly at 6’. I have the seat pushed all the way back so anyone taller could possibly find themselves uncomfortable. I swapped the original rims and tires out for some Konig rims and Continental all-season tires. The stock rims are 7” wide and the aftermarket are 8” wide: more traction on the road. Off the line, you can chirp the tires so the power is certainly adequate. The manual gear box is tight and shifts cleanly. It is an extremely fun, nimble, and reliable car. The Grand Touring has the leather, backup camera, and Bose stereo. I have driven this car hard through the “twisties” and cruised it 500 miles with no reservations. There isn’t anything really needing done to this car; it is a fantastic ride out of the box. I did, however, give the performance a “4” because I know there is room for growth with aftermarket products. Nevertheless, you won’t be disappointed. Be careful though! My buddy wrecked his ‘19 Miata RF two weeks ago pushing it just a little too hard.

Having purchased only new vehicles my entire life, I found myself in need of buying my girlfriend a certified used vehicle from a local Honda dealership. After the salesman ignored our desires and instead try to upsell us, however, we decided to try Carmax instead. From the start, Carmax offered a helpful hand online and friendly service over the phone: they were quickly able to find what we needed and provide attractive financing in a flash. (Thanks to you, Lesly.) Moreover, I found scheduling of a meeting to finish the deal at the dealership efficient. Once at the dealership, Haseam did well in helping us -- his knowledge and friendliness were impressive, especially since I havevworked in the service industry for many years . Because he did not try to upsell us, but rather did his best to educate us on what would work well, (coming in on his day-off to finalize the deal), I must commend Carmax and its associates for providing a memorable experience. Also, I was thankful that Dashau helped expedite the process when we completed the paperwork; what a breeze! Finally, I know I will come in buy my own used car in the future when my Honda Fit finally gives out. Thanks again, Carmax!

I purchased this car to have a small convertible for pleasure use and it's perfect for my needs. The Soul Red color is beautiful. I am a big guy but after a little maneuvering of my body to enter it, I feel very comfortable in it. It's a 6 speed manual with a short but smooth shift knob. Lots of extras and features and still have to learn to navigate some of them. It has enough power for my needs and great gas mileage. Only wish it had automatic climate control and a little less road noise on the highway. The lane departure alert is very sensitive and irritating but is a good trade off for safety. It needs a cabin trunk release knob and if it has one, I can't find it. I would prefer leather seats and Bose radio system but my cloth seats are comfortable with excellent quality fabric and the 6 speaker radio is acceptable to someone who's not an audiophile. Lastly, would love automatic headlight dimmers so I don't blind oncoming drivers at night! Overall, I now know why it is so highly rated and I love it already.
