Bought this model in 2014 brand new, it's 10 years later, at 100K miles, still runs like new , only items done are maintenance so far.Tires, brakes, battery, wipers, etc. Has never been in the shop for anything else. Period.

2006 Mazda5 five speed in red, 61K miles. It's a mini- mini van with a stickshift and a good 16V four cylinder that torques well at midrange. Niche vehicle, for sure. Most van buyers will want more room. Most won't consider a stickshift. And you can find more HP in a V6, or more MPG in a subcompact. But where else can you get something fun to dive that seats 6? Where else can you get a minivan with the longevity of a manual transmission? Also got 30 mpg on the road. Love it.

I only dealt with salespeople on phone. He was prompt at responding to my phone calls and answering my questions.

Tons of leg room. Absolutely quiet while driving. I wish we would have found this van before. It allows for transporting and helping my family. Definitely well made.

I installed a hitch that i bought on Amazon for $120 and can carry 3 bikes on the back and can haul a 10 ft kayak in the back with a hitch Tee bar extension I use. I also had a trailer light kit installed so can pull a kayak trailer too. I bought the 5 new in 2012 and have 115k miles. It is super reliable and I use it to haul the family, bikes, and kayaks.

I replaced my 2009 Mazda 5 with a 2016 model. There was some cost cutting to maintain the price point but it is a very practical vehicle with great value and economy. I like the loaded GT package with leather interior, sunroof and the 6-speed manual transmission.

Great family car! Perfect for getting my toddlers in and out with extra room for flea market finds or the in-laws. My husband doesn?t mind driving it, either. Decent fuel mileage and fun to drive.

Love that it holds 4 car seats and 2 adults. Easy to understand console. Can turn into a huge storage vehicle when seats are folded down. Looks good for the outside. Small width so parks easily. I'm short and the driver's seat gets very close up. Powerful pick up in traffic, too.

It’s a good car. Just the dealership did me dirty by not replacing a bad tire that they promised in writing that they would. Now I have to pay for one. The front underneath must be extremely low because it drags when I pull in or out of a driveway curb.

Chris was great. Honest and accommodating. He stayed late to help get paperwork done and was easy, not pushy at all. Although, the check wngine light did come on during the drive home, it was expected and discussed ahead of time as they were able to work on the price with me a little. Mazda is the only car I have ever owned that just doesn't break down. My first one was a 626 purchased in 1986 and owned for 13 years and it broke down 1 time after 10 years, unlike most US manufactured cars at the time that broke down even before I would finish paying for it, but after warranty expired. I now own a 2007 Mazda 5 and it's now 2023 so it's nearly 16 years old and it's never broken down. Very reliable car and I love the room in it. Its the only car brand I haven't wanted to get rid of after a few years.

We loved how the 3rd row seat folds flat for extra cargo room. The compact design makes it easy to park and maneuver. Reliable and economical choice.
