2016 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class review
The GL450 is a roomy vehicle with a usable 3rd row that quickly folds away flush into the floor for spacious cargo room. The car is stable on smooth roads and comfortable, potholes, man-hole covers and other obstacles in the road can cause the suspension to jump around a little more than expected...the rear will jump over a few inches one way or another, but overall it drives well. Acceleration isn't what it used to be with the larger twin turbo V-8, but it's still very respectable. The biggest advantage and worth the trade-off is the much improved fuel economy. Front seating is sufficient, not spectacular though...I've take a few 700 plus mile trips and I'm happy with the comfort level, just wish the front seat bases could tilt a little higher in the front. Gauges and instruments and radio are easy to use and fall within reach...the temperature controls could be a little more modern for a 2016 instead of the rotary dial...but they work. NOT a fan of the transmission shifting on the column...it frees up the center console, but it's easy to confuse early on with blinkers, wipers, etc. The seats are heated but at this price, they should also be ventilated/cooled. I haven't had it long enough for reliability, but from what I've read it's decent. Towing capacity is 7500#...I have not tried that yet, but would think that's a little more than an SUV this size should be towing...my intentions will be much smaller adventure trailers and possibly a boat, but no large car haulers even though they may fall within or under 7500#. I'm looking forward to this car as it's my first Mercedes, a departure from our Audi and BMW stable of cars we own and have owned in the past.

very pleased with the service. Customer service is very friendly and helpful. Maggie is our go to representative, if she isn't around, we feel that the staff is just as helpful and courteous. Minneapolis: 3AM: Awake, Can’t sleep. Doom scrolling nationwide for a new Mercedes, and after being dismissed by my local Mercedes dealers, I found the car I wanted at Sisson Mercedes in Washington, Pennsylvania. Filled out the “I’m Interested” tab, not expecting to hear anything back, and a few hours later…It was 3AM after all…I got an e-mail from Kristin Presutti at Sisson Mercedes about the car I was interested in…Being we are both Italian, She made me an offer I couldn’t refuse and I now await my new Mercedes to arrive in Minneapolis from the suburbs of Pittsburgh. It’s now days later and I have yet to hear from my local Mercedes dealers…I have been buying cars since 1979 and Kristin is truly the best salesperson I have ever dealt with. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Simply outstanding.

Bought it used 7years ago. now 200k miles still going strong. love the car!! I owe sprinter with same motor and 600k+miles on it. If you maintain them- they will last for ever.
