1997 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
W140’s 97 S320 is one of the best S class ever produced, i have owned W140 92 S500, that was a good first edition, but ran into transmission issues, owned 95 S420 super of a car loaded with all option but transmission issues at 60k or so miles, Had a diesel S350, wonderful experience and what a commute range. The S320 97, or i say all after that year were just superb of S’s, all flaws what the previous years saw were eliminated. i had no trouble whatsoever for the 80k i drove on , sold it at 267k miles and the current owner is enjoying it even more. A marvel of automotive technology !!

1997 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
At 200000ks&1 previous owner this w140s420 ls the best car i have driven in 65 years driving. Have owned several range rovers jaguars mercedes rovers.my current mb w212 e350cdi is excellent car but does not match the w140 (low profile tyres have spoiled the comfort on modern cars).best features of the w140 excellent ride quietest car of any ,interior&general flnish is as good as it gets ,even for 25 year old car. Problems.....engine wiring(replaced)&moisture forming inside dist. Caps (i thlnk i have the remedy). 5of my cars cars are classics,which i will be reducing in numbers. The w140 will be the last to go when i no longer drive

1997 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
I have owned a 1997 Mercedes S320 140 since 1999. I bought it as a Certified Serviced Pre Owned car from Mercedes Benz "Carriage House" now South Atlanta Mercedes Benz. When I bought it, the delivery person told me "this car will last you a life time if you get all the services". He was right! I am taking it to have it painted because the clear coat has some blemishes in the finish on the top, hood and trunk lid. Other than a few minor electrical issues the car has given me the best for the price I paid. It has out lasted several of my relatives newer Mercedes models. It is 28 years old and running perfect. Motor and Transmission are perfection. Smooth ride on long trips. Very quiet inside. A battle ship feel when inside.
