2019 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 review
With retractable roof you get a sexy luxurious convertible for the summer and a reliable bulldog hardtop in the winter. Unbelievable comfort, gorgeous walnut burl dash, and plush leather interior (on my mine), excellent stereo. If you can afford it, there is not much more you can ask for. I traded in a 2006 Carrera S and have never regretted it.

2017 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 review
There were tons of features we expected especially based on it being a Benz but after owning it now for about 2 months I can say with confidence that this is the best roadster we’ve ever owned. Over the years we have had five other two-seaters and have test drove another half dozen - from corvette to Jag and even Prowler. Nothing comes close to the luxury, comfort and performance. I was shocked at how quick it is. That’s not why we bought it but it was a very pleasant surprise.

2018 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 review
Just a joy to look at. Just a joy to be seen in. It's a hardtop convertible so I have the best of both worlds. Powerful bi-turbo v8 is quiet and smooth. Dont even know there is a transmission it's so seamless.

2018 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 review
The most comfortable and luxurious sports car I have ever owned. I have has Porche's, Z cars, and B'mers but love this the most. Just fun and easy to go cruising in. Pure class! Added bonus...I can get a back massage as I drive. Oh yeah, it parallel parks itself.

2017 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 review
I wanted the look and feel of an expensive luxury sports car without the $135k price tag. But after 2 and a half years, I have to sell it for an SUV to haul the grandkids to school. Otherwise, I'd keep this low mileage beauty for a LONG time. So FAST! NEVER EVER had a problem other than a cracked windshield which I just replaced.

2018 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 review
Purchased the car new Oct 2017 ( 2018 SL550 ) . I traded in a 2012 Corvette ZR1 . PROS- very good build materials and quality construction , almost constructed of all aluminum , good engine ( good sound and performance ) , the retractable hard top ( great in warm and cool weather -large glass sunroof ) , good fit and finish all around , audio and back up camera both good quality , wife loves the car , nice treatment at MB of Smithtown LI NY , very comfortable ride and interior , nothing has gone wrong with the car since purchase . CONS- initial price a little high ( 125K ) , yearly service too high , handling could be a little better , the looks took a while to grow on me . The car has 6000 gentle miles on it , is very nice to drive if you are taking a relaxing cruise . It handles pretty well if not pushed too hard . If you stay within the limits of the car the turns feel good , you just won't be going all that fast . I have other cars that handle better , but I do enjoy this car a lot . In the right weather I always come home with a big smile on my face . Did not really love the looks initially but they have grown on me over the years . Overall , I like the car a lot and will not sell it (ever) . I guess that's as positive a review as you can give. Hope this is helpful
