Got the 2005 FWD V6 with 212k on it for $2,500. During the 3 years I owned it the only problem I ever had was one wheel bearing. It was fun enough to drive and handled decently in the snow. My only complaints: its handling was pretty rough at speed, it's mpg wasnt great, and the interior was cheap and falling apart. Then again, you expect this sort of thing when a car has that many miles. This car never failed me and always got me where I needed to go though. In the end it came through for me again and I sold it for the same price I bought it for.

This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)

The Hybrid system is great I use the car for work it has gone though many snow storms and rain storms even an ice storm. It's always worked very well

I got my 2008 Mercury Mountanier after my 2003 Pontiac Grand AM transmission first gear broke. I had trouble with it with after getting stuck in the mud the transmission first gear broke the next day and the wheel bearing was not working so I just got it fix full last week and the vehicle is working at full capacity. I truly love this car and hope it last.

Excellent experience overall. Bob was very knowledgeable, honest, patient and genuinely a kind person. Never was I pressured or questioned and any concern I had was taken care of. I highly recommend if you are looking for a clean, well maintained and valuable used car at a fair price. Nothing on his lot is below these standards. When I purchased the car it was used but with low miles. The miles are still low and the car is starting to show its age. I am grateful that the work was able to he completed in my driveway. It's still a good car and i am glad i bought it!!!

It needed a right front bumper molding and Frank agreed to send one to me. This dealership requires consideration if you want to buy a well serviced car of any make or model. This dealership has a remarkably great reputation an I agree that it is one of the few So Florida used car stores who are honest, service the car BEFORE selling it and takes careful steps to insure good relationships with customers. I may even buy another one from them, and spread the news of his store to my friends up here in the North who may want a "rust free" Southern car! Great store, nice people, as a retired dealer I'm showing my respect for Frank & team! Imagine buying a 35 yr old car from someone 14oo miles away "sight unseen" and be happy! I DID! YOU SHOULD!

So I just bought a used 2010 Mercury Mountaineer, with a restored salvage title. Typically I do not buy vehicles that don’t have a clean title. Obviously this vehicle was in an accident, and restored. I test drove the vehicle twice before deciding to buy it. I have to say there are a few quirks I have to work out of the system, but the engine and transmission is solid! With just over 100k miles this vehicle is by far one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever bought used, inside and out. I upgraded from an 03 Ford Ranger that had the 2.3L engine 5 speed manual. I wanted something automatic and with more HP. The Mountaineer doesn’t disappoint. For $4,500 I feel this vehicle was a smart purchase even if I have to put some time and money into fixing the weird quirks. I wish there was a way to submit pictures in this review to show just how clean this vehicle is. I would not hesitate on buying another one.

I am 6'1 and while I am not a big guy I feel cramped In most cars . The mariner gives me the most space I have ever had in the driver seat. I still feel relaxed after a long drive. It has a stylish look and the hybrid is great on gas and still provides space and convenience for family.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We were met as we drove onto the lot and helped immediately. We were shown a wide range of options within our parameters. I I’ll l and walked through the process of choosing the right fit for us! Discussion felt like talking to a friend and made the process less daunting. We will be going back for all of our future vehicle needs!

I got the car like a few months back. I am second owner for it.I bought it from a private owner. It has 50K on it and looks really new.So far it looks good and easy to get used to it.It has a great interior and It is giving me around 27+ city/25 Highway.The only hitch in this over all great car is the driver's leg area.Its a bit congested.I am an average person and I felt the pain initally becuase of that.But now I got used to driving it and its perfect ..I love it and the way it changes from hybrid to engine and back to hybrid is really awesome.I SOME TIMES like to drive more than 5 miles just on electric drive and its a real fun.especially early in the morning .In all over this car a lot and I am happy with it by all means.

I bought my 03 Mountaineer used in July. I didnt know ANYTHING about these SUV in fact I was unaware of their existence before I found this one. I paid $1,300, it had 108,000 miles on it. Ive owned it 6 months now and yes I have put some work into it but it's a 20 yr old vehicle and so far everything ive done I would've expected a vehicle with that many years to have going on, they just happened to me right away. But you can get the parts for these cheap. I have the 4.0 V6 and I love this car! It has so much power, it is fast as xxxx for a big heavy SUV. It flies down the highway and even handles curves like a sports car. I have to be careful because it takes off right now and I can be doing 90mph without even trying and be at 80mph coming onto the highway. It tows like a champ no problems. As long as I turn the overdrive off when in town and on when I'm on highway it gets great gas milage, I love the big moon/sun roof, the pedals move to me, leather heated seats. I like that I can either open just the back window or the whole hatch depending what im doing. The negative, typical ford rusted out rocker panels, I just filled my tank today and when leaving the station I noticed my fuel gage isnt working, could be the floater is stuck but it only has 110,000 on it now. Because in the 6 months I have owned it it has been in my shop getting the tlc in deserves and im feeling confident that this Mountaineer is gonna be one that goes the distance and some. I hope so. It is a real pleasure to drive.

All I can say is WOW! Being a woman and buying a car has its own difficulties and paranoia's due to the fact that most places take advantage of the typical woman's lack of knowledge about cars. However, Boston Road Best Motors has to be the most honest used car dealership I have ever been to. I originally came in after hearing from friends about the reputation of this place and how they truly care for the safety and well-being of the customer. But what happened when I got there was beyond anything I could have imagined. So I come in to purchase a 2008 Nissan Rogue, after being shown the car by Andrew I took it for a test drive and instantly loved the car. Andrew allowed me to really take as long as I wanted during the drive and insisted that I give a very thorough inspection of the vehicle before I make any decisions. The vehicle showed no signs of having any mechanical issues. After taking my time I decided that I would take the vehicle so I left a deposit in order to come in the next day to pick up the car. When I came in the next day was when I was shocked by the honesty of this dealership. I walked in and they told me that when they put the vehicle into the mechanic for further inspection they noticed some signs that would indicate that the transmission may need replacement in the future. They offered me my deposit back and deeply apologized. I have a lot of car buying experience, both good and bad, and I have never seen a dealership cancel a deal that they could have closed due to mechanical errors. I truly believe that Boston Road Best Motors cares about ethics over making money. That is when I told them to hold my deposit until they get another Rogue which I ended up taking home! I purchased my 2008 Marina new off the lot in 2008. It currently has 256,223 miles without any need of major repairs. I had to change the ignition switch a year ago and just now began to have transmission issues. I love this vehicle and it has given me great service.

The car was perfect for all of our needs. Excellent looks and styling. Interior is roomy and more than adequate for our needs. Being a used car there were some imperfections but overlooked because of the great value and minor aesthetic issues.

I got my used 2006 Mercury Premier Mountaineer V8 that had 262,410 miles on it, I'm at 336,710 now, years later, bought her I 2020, I'm in 2025 now, she's still going as strong as any mustang it feels, with minor repair needed in the near future, like a fuel pressure sensor and new struts. Amazing vehicle! I've gone places only jeeps would go, pulled double axles trailers, even drove for 20 hours to the Pacific Northwest, definitely a vehicle I would recommend, if you want something reliable for years to come!
