My grandson, Cody Broughton, helped me to find a newer vehicle. I was welcomed by the owners and staff at Kain’s Ford and I was so impressed with how well the purchase went. I am enjoying driving my Ford Escape.

So I just bought a used 2010 Mercury Mountaineer, with a restored salvage title. Typically I do not buy vehicles that don’t have a clean title. Obviously this vehicle was in an accident, and restored. I test drove the vehicle twice before deciding to buy it. I have to say there are a few quirks I have to work out of the system, but the engine and transmission is solid! With just over 100k miles this vehicle is by far one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever bought used, inside and out. I upgraded from an 03 Ford Ranger that had the 2.3L engine 5 speed manual. I wanted something automatic and with more HP. The Mountaineer doesn’t disappoint. For $4,500 I feel this vehicle was a smart purchase even if I have to put some time and money into fixing the weird quirks. I wish there was a way to submit pictures in this review to show just how clean this vehicle is. I would not hesitate on buying another one.

Great vehicle, ran amazing until the transmission went, lots of cargo and passenger space, loved the third row seating.

This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)

So far car is great. AWD will be nice in the snow. It has plenty of interer room and adaquate power. Color is nice and tires are new.

The Hybrid system is great I use the car for work it has gone though many snow storms and rain storms even an ice storm. It's always worked very well

The Mariner is great, performance, mpg, very little maintenance repairs and best of all manueverability. If I could insulate the cabin area to subdue the road noise I would not think of replacing it.

I came in expecting to get laughed at and they accepted me with open arms and worked with what I had at the time and got me into a car. The car I got was used but it still gets me to point A to point B and they sat down with me, talked with me and listened to my story, and said this is what we can work out and what we can do. When I purchased the car it was used but with low miles. The miles are still low and the car is starting to show its age. I am grateful that the work was able to he completed in my driveway. It's still a good car and i am glad i bought it!!!

I've owned my mountaineer since 2013 and I never had any problems with my car and I would definitely recommend this vehicle to other people who is looking for a good reliable used car. The mountaineer drives well in the snow and it never skidded in the bad weather, I have the 4.0 V6 engine and it has great gas mileage and I would never get rid of it.

Brandon was great! I was buying a car for my oldest son, Inlive in AZ, my son lives in IN, and the car was in Michigan. The car was perfect for all of our needs. Excellent looks and styling. Interior is roomy and more than adequate for our needs. Being a used car there were some imperfections but overlooked because of the great value and minor aesthetic issues.
