So far car is great. AWD will be nice in the snow. It has plenty of interer room and adaquate power. Color is nice and tires are new.

This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)

I want to give the highest marks to Al Ghazel and Dino his sales manager. Al went beyond my expectations to make me happy with my purchase and Dino backed him up. Due to a catastrophic engine failure on the mid-sized 4DR Sedan/hatchback I was driving, I made a crisi$ purchase of a 2008 Mariner in Jan 2019. The price was low, as it would soon need all new tires, new front brake pads & rotors, as well as both front steering control arms w/ball joints replaced, and, an alignment, of course, AND it had 239,ooo miles on that CD4E transmission. But inside was clean, and I was on a limited budget, and this car left me with some cash in hand for parts, and it would carry the stuff I need for work. So, I spent a weekend rolling around on the garage floor, replacing all the hard parts, got some good rubber on it, and paid for an alignment to get it driving straight: 25 months/25,ooo miles later, that V-6 is still going pretty strong, starts well in subzero (F) cold, and the transmission is still hanging in there, too! Runs pretty quiet: have to watch my speed! Just wish the upper display worked: if I bump the radio channel button, it takes a while to get back to my station!

I went to a few dealership on Saturday with my wife looking for a car for my college bound son. We were both impressed with Arko and how kind and easy going they were. A few places we went to didn't even bother to come out and say hello. When we told Arko we weren't looking to purchase quite yet he still gave us the same attention as he did when he thought he'd maybe have a sale that day. We will for sure be back.

I’ve had my 2008 Mercury Mariner VOGA Edition for 5 years and it still runs fantastic! It has 167,000 miles on it and is the best-looking vehicle I’ve ever owned. I love it so much that I had the opportunity to trade it in for something newer but I just can’t part with it. Great small SUV and great gas mileage.

I purchased my 2008 Marina new off the lot in 2008. It currently has 256,223 miles without any need of major repairs. I had to change the ignition switch a year ago and just now began to have transmission issues. I love this vehicle and it has given me great service.

The dealership did an excellent job with the maintenance job. I went in earlier than my time but they took care of it right away. The waiting area was comfortable. They updated me about how much longer I would have to wait and answered all my questions.

The Mariner is great, performance, mpg, very little maintenance repairs and best of all manueverability. If I could insulate the cabin area to subdue the road noise I would not think of replacing it.

Great safe dependable vehicle. Only issue was front struts replaced after 138000 miles. Battery seems to last forever no maintenance needed. Milage is 21 low end to 38 high end.

So I just bought a used 2010 Mercury Mountaineer, with a restored salvage title. Typically I do not buy vehicles that don’t have a clean title. Obviously this vehicle was in an accident, and restored. I test drove the vehicle twice before deciding to buy it. I have to say there are a few quirks I have to work out of the system, but the engine and transmission is solid! With just over 100k miles this vehicle is by far one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever bought used, inside and out. I upgraded from an 03 Ford Ranger that had the 2.3L engine 5 speed manual. I wanted something automatic and with more HP. The Mountaineer doesn’t disappoint. For $4,500 I feel this vehicle was a smart purchase even if I have to put some time and money into fixing the weird quirks. I wish there was a way to submit pictures in this review to show just how clean this vehicle is. I would not hesitate on buying another one.

This truck has lasted me a long time. I’m just looking for something smaller. Motor runs great. Just needs a new shift solinoid. The exterior is a maroon color. And this inside is a tan color.

The Hybrid system is great I use the car for work it has gone though many snow storms and rain storms even an ice storm. It's always worked very well

Bought the 2011 Mercury Mariner Premier from a dealer with 91,000 one owner miles on it. Initial thoughts are the vehicle is well built, attractive, the 3.0 V6 is peppy and responsive, love the interior and exterior presentation. This is a 5-Star crash test rated SUV. Has front wheel drive with ABS braking which is adequate for our driving habits. Had some technical issues getting our Syrius radio activated but did get a 3 month free trial period. Dealer installed a new set of tires which was appreciated along with some a/c repairs and a few other miscellaneous items. Time will tell if this Merc will hold up but initial impressions are very favorable.

I've owned my mountaineer since 2013 and I never had any problems with my car and I would definitely recommend this vehicle to other people who is looking for a good reliable used car. The mountaineer drives well in the snow and it never skidded in the bad weather, I have the 4.0 V6 engine and it has great gas mileage and I would never get rid of it.

I am 6'1 and while I am not a big guy I feel cramped In most cars . The mariner gives me the most space I have ever had in the driver seat. I still feel relaxed after a long drive. It has a stylish look and the hybrid is great on gas and still provides space and convenience for family.
