This was my first car and it was great. It had plenty on cargo space and leg room in the front and back seats for passengers. This car is a great midsize SUV and is not too big or too little and feels safe while driving. The 4WD was also a great feature to have in the winters.

So far car is great. AWD will be nice in the snow. It has plenty of interer room and adaquate power. Color is nice and tires are new.

For the price range you can find this vehicle in it does offer quite a few great features. The model I bought did not come with Bluetooth what does offer and auxiliary cable input. The third row seating option and the amount of cargo space available when the third row is flipped down is GREAT. The model I bought also came with a ceiling mounted and detachable DVD player Gameboy Advanced combo which initially I thought didn't work but it just was not charged... it comes with wireless headphones and controller for gaming. I love this feature! Also this vehicle comes with adjustable pedals and seat with multiple saved options which make for a very comfortable ride regardless of how many people drive the vehicle.

June, 2015. Vehicle has 89,453 miles. The car has original brakes. Very good SUV. I just drove 245 miles today and average 35.1 MPG at 62 MPH. Push this hybrid to higher speeds and the MPG suffers. I rather save gas. Rust on fenders, single tone horn upgraded, ABS sensors on front wheels replaced, EV battery coolant pump replaced which Ford paid for. Otherwise, very happy with the vehicle. Interior in excellent shape. I cannot see replacing this SUV any time soon.

I've owned my mountaineer since 2013 and I never had any problems with my car and I would definitely recommend this vehicle to other people who is looking for a good reliable used car. The mountaineer drives well in the snow and it never skidded in the bad weather, I have the 4.0 V6 engine and it has great gas mileage and I would never get rid of it.

I was in the market to purchase a reliable used car for my daughter for under $5k. We had been all over town for a couple of weeks. I got my used 2006 Mercury Premier Mountaineer V8 that had 262,410 miles on it, I'm at 336,710 now, years later, bought her I 2020, I'm in 2025 now, she's still going as strong as any mustang it feels, with minor repair needed in the near future, like a fuel pressure sensor and new struts. Amazing vehicle! I've gone places only jeeps would go, pulled double axles trailers, even drove for 20 hours to the Pacific Northwest, definitely a vehicle I would recommend, if you want something reliable for years to come!

Was looking for a very specific Tesla. Used, Dual motor, low miles and not grey or black! 405 motors had one, an excellent car, but lost out to my wife’s choice, a blue one, at another dealership. 405 was prompt responding, with a fair market price. It took two requests to have them discontinue notifications once we selected another dealer/vehicle. I would not have hesitated purchasing their car if I could have convinced my wife that the red was better!

I got the car like a few months back. I am second owner for it.I bought it from a private owner. It has 50K on it and looks really new.So far it looks good and easy to get used to it.It has a great interior and It is giving me around 27+ city/25 Highway.The only hitch in this over all great car is the driver's leg area.Its a bit congested.I am an average person and I felt the pain initally becuase of that.But now I got used to driving it and its perfect ..I love it and the way it changes from hybrid to engine and back to hybrid is really awesome.I SOME TIMES like to drive more than 5 miles just on electric drive and its a real fun.especially early in the morning .In all over this car a lot and I am happy with it by all means.

I got my 2008 Mercury Mountanier after my 2003 Pontiac Grand AM transmission first gear broke. I had trouble with it with after getting stuck in the mud the transmission first gear broke the next day and the wheel bearing was not working so I just got it fix full last week and the vehicle is working at full capacity. I truly love this car and hope it last.

Great vehicle and good value. I bought this vehicle 7 years ago with 15,000 miles on the odometer. It was like new inside and out. I have only had a couple of mechanical issues with the vehicle: First off, If it doesn't shift and downshift correctly, take it to the dealer, as there is a TSB out on this issue. Secondly, make sure to change the coolant every few years. Coolant only lasts so long, so at least every 5 years have it changed. On my Mountaineer the coolant aged and clogged up the radiator, resulting in a very expensive repair. Otherwise the vehicle is great and still looks relatively new despite being 18 years old. Overall very good value for what I paid for the vehicle.

The car is all we wanted and more. Lot of inside space. Lots of extra electronic to get used to. Car rides like a new car.

I’m really enjoying the vehicle. It runs well and is enjoyable with its size and sunroof. The stereo system works well, it’s just a good car. Came when great tires, too!

Due to a catastrophic engine failure on the mid-sized 4DR Sedan/hatchback I was driving, I made a crisi$ purchase of a 2008 Mariner in Jan 2019. The price was low, as it would soon need all new tires, new front brake pads & rotors, as well as both front steering control arms w/ball joints replaced, and, an alignment, of course, AND it had 239,ooo miles on that CD4E transmission. But inside was clean, and I was on a limited budget, and this car left me with some cash in hand for parts, and it would carry the stuff I need for work. So, I spent a weekend rolling around on the garage floor, replacing all the hard parts, got some good rubber on it, and paid for an alignment to get it driving straight: 25 months/25,ooo miles later, that V-6 is still going pretty strong, starts well in subzero (F) cold, and the transmission is still hanging in there, too! Runs pretty quiet: have to watch my speed! Just wish the upper display worked: if I bump the radio channel button, it takes a while to get back to my station!

This vehicle has served us well. It has a rebuilt engine (Jasper) and a rebuilt transmission. Well-maintained with moderate wear and tear. Selling because we got great deal on a Ford Escape hybrid.
