Used Mercury cars for sale near Whiting, IN

When I purchased the car it was used but with low miles. The miles are still low and the car is starting to show its age. I am grateful that the work was able to he completed in my driveway. It's still a good car and i am glad i bought it!!!

Best car to buy very reliable hardly no problems and I'm sad a man crazy driving hit my 2009 Mercury Milan and I'm sad no longer runs from accident. But I'm going to buy another one just like it very dependable car.

I visited to look at a 2013 Sonata and ultimately decided to buy a 2022 Palisade for my whole family. I am impressed by the courtesy and service they offer. It is on another level. I will strongly recommend them to any friends or family members. This is their new location, and the staff, vehicle selection, and prices are excellent.

The only issues I have had with is vehicle are the interior door handles and a front wheel bearing. The bearing starting showing its age around 180k. I haven't changed the plugs, but the car still runs fine. Mechanically speaking, the car is worth the money, has not let me down yet. But I do keep the fluids changed the regular. I only abused it once, it does reach 120mph, but I do not reccomend this, it's not a sports car. Comfort wise, the seat padding goes soft after about 70k. No big deal.

Today I purchased a 2017 Nissan Sentra SR and it was a great experience. My salesman, Arman met and exceeded my expectations. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. Kevin is the finance manager and got me out the door in about an hour or less! Straight forward pricing! Best prices I have seen in a long time! I definitely recommend this place! Great thing about Premier Auto Works, you don’t feel pressured to buy or feel like you are being held hostage like at other dealership!

This car was the most reliable car I have ever owned. have had a number of new and used cars, I found the Mercury Milan to have great styling, handled beautifully, and never broke down. I always wonder why they stopped making this model.

For what it's worth, I am in my 50s and have bought about 20 cars over my lifetime. I live in NY have bought cars online/remotely from FL, CA, UT, PA, OH and MA. I'm a particular fan of 1997-2001 Lexus ES 300s so I was very interested when a 2001 Lexus ES 300 showed up on Wheels Unlimited's website. The car listed at Wheels Unlimited had only 54k miles but the price was a bit higher than I wanted to pay (having purchased more than 8 of these cars over the past 15 years, I knew what a good price was and, like every customer, I was hoping to get a better deal than what was listed on the website). Like everyone else, I tried to find customer feedback wherever I could... google, yelp, cars.com, facebook, cargurus, you name it... The fact that the overwhelming customer feedback was so good was both encouraging but also caused concern that the results might have been "scrubbed" or manipulated. The only negative comments I saw were from customers who said that the dealership was asking too much and unwilling to come down on price (no idea how much reduction they were asking, just that they were displeased with the unwillingness of the dealership to accommodate). Almost all of the responses gave high praise to John Steffens and the dealership for reasonableness and ultimate satisfaction in the transaction. Cars were listed responsibly and accurately and the prices were consistent therewith. The asking price for the 2001 Lexus ES 300 that I was interested in was significantly higher than any of the figures I could find from Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, NADA or any other online valuation tool. From an online perspective, pictures of the car looked immaculate and the overall condition was impeccable but I have had bad deals before. I called John and asked about the car and he told me it was excellent. I believed what he said because everything about him is very professional and honest, but was still a bit apprehensive because the car was more expensive than any of the others I purchased previously. Bottom-line is that although I was apprehensive in buying an older car without seeing it first-hand, I trusted John's description and the way he worked with me to accommodate my flight into Chicago and bus ride to Valparaiso. I've never been more delighted! The car was even better than John described - truly immaculate! John is an excellent salesman and I actually trust him completely. Not only would I do this deal 1000 times out of 1000, I would actually consider commissioning him to purchase other cars for me because he truly cares about the cars he sells and the folks to whom he sells them. The fact that he did not come down on price as much as I would have liked is not a negative, it's just quite reasonable because the cars are so good. I think that they spend time selecting only a few cars that they can represent with good conscience as opposed to flooding the lot and selling a poor product from time to time. The fact that they prescreen their offerings so conscientiously makes me want to buy from them again and again - unfortunately for me, 1997-2001 Lexus ES 300s like the one I got don't come around too often. To whatever extent such customer feedback can help you in your decision, know that I sincerely loved buying this car from John/Wheels Unlimited and am stating that I believe you can trust him/them as well. I bought this car from an older gentleman who I'm assuming roadtripped with it and took very good care of it. When I bought it it had just under 200k and was in perfect working order. I am now approaching 250k and the car has only required basic maintenance and repair (alternator and a couple relatively cheap sensors). This car has been nothing short of very reliable. I could probably take it from Iowa to visit my sister in North Carolina and back with zero issues.

Large, comfortable, rides smooth, and isn’t terrible on gas for a V8. Only had it for a year but it was a great vehicle. Bought with 84k and sold at 92k without any major issues.

I have had two still do one with 300.000 miles on her must do general maintenance to get it to high miles . I use blended oil in them

Overall, the experience was very good. We purchased the car from Mo, a polite, soft spoken man that gave us zero pressure during the entire sales process. His communication was excellent throughout the process. The car needs a bit of work, but it was listed at a great price. He offered an optional extended powertrain warranty, and fixed a worn-out serpentine belt when a local mechanic pointed it out during a pre-sale inspection. Thanks!

I have a 2005 Grand Marquis LS, and this care is awesome! I did modify it slightly with a K&N cold air induction and custom made dual stainless steel exhaust. The car is so great for cruising because it is like sitting in your living room on the couch.

Due to a catastrophic engine failure on the mid-sized 4DR Sedan/hatchback I was driving, I made a crisi$ purchase of a 2008 Mariner in Jan 2019. The price was low, as it would soon need all new tires, new front brake pads & rotors, as well as both front steering control arms w/ball joints replaced, and, an alignment, of course, AND it had 239,ooo miles on that CD4E transmission. But inside was clean, and I was on a limited budget, and this car left me with some cash in hand for parts, and it would carry the stuff I need for work. So, I spent a weekend rolling around on the garage floor, replacing all the hard parts, got some good rubber on it, and paid for an alignment to get it driving straight: 25 months/25,ooo miles later, that V-6 is still going pretty strong, starts well in subzero (F) cold, and the transmission is still hanging in there, too! Runs pretty quiet: have to watch my speed! Just wish the upper display worked: if I bump the radio channel button, it takes a while to get back to my station!

My 07 Milan 2.3 has been through a small war. It has taken everything I have given it and given me trouble free miles. Bought in 2012 with 97k miles it now has 210k miles and I have never done anything other than regular maintenance. Transmission fluid drops with Mazda M5 fluid every third oil change, mobil 1 every 5k. One set of brake pads. One CV axle and one wheel bearing. The car has never not started nor has it ever left me on the side of the road. I am full impressed and idly look for another one every so often. The only downside is... Finding good shocks and struts now are a pain in the xxx. Everything is firmer than the original ones and only are comfortable for about 10,000 miles. So I have changed the front struts about 6 times now, which is not the car's fault. It literally takes me 10 minutes a side now! I have tried every brand out there. Thinking about air shocks on my next Milan.
