1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT review
About a month ago I bought a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 for just over $4000. The car had 145k on the odometer, but the seller had the papers to prove that the motor and transmission are freshly rebuilt with only 4k miles on the rebuild. Lucky me. I drove the car 2 and a half hours on ride home, and have daily driven it since. Comfort is not the greatest in these cars. The ride is stiff, and there is constant road noise, especially traveling down the highway. Performance wise, this car has it all. Straight line acceleration is stratospheric, and the brakes feel like they might rip your face off. All Wheel Drive and All Wheel Steering make the car handle very, very well. However, at night, the dim dashlights make it hard to see how fast you are going, and this car does attract alot of attention. Both good and bad. I will provide an update in a few months time.

Bought the car after it had sat in someone's backyard for over 5 years. Minimum effort to restore and is amazing.

1999 Mitsubishi Mirage review
I purchased my Mirage De Coupe used in 2005 with 85k miles on it. Currently is is at 180k miles and runs like the day I got it. Literally the only repair I've had to do is replace the struts. With regular maintenance and oil changes, the Mitsubishi Mirage has been the most reliable and fun driving experience I've ever had. I HIGHLY recommend this car to anyone on a budget looking for something dependable.

2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse review
I have a 2006 Eclipse GT and love it, but it's near the end of its life so I wanted another. I got this 2009 with 80,000 miles. Fantastic car, great acceleration. Supposedly it was "Certified", but in my test drive I noticed the A/C light wouldn't stay on. I asked the dealer to fix it. He said A/C worked, but light did not. That's wrong. Module was bad. Worse, Mitsubishi discontinued and offered no solution, so I had to get one from a junk yard. Also, Right Rear Strut was improperly installed (dealer's fault, not car), and after a few months the left rear strut was also bad. Not the worst thing that can happen, but it's loud when I hit bumps. Anyway, the exterior design is dated, but the 3.8L engine is still terrific (accelerates very well off the light, even though this car weight 2 tons). That's the primary reason I bought a second one. They discontinued the GT about 10 years ago, but you can get them dirt cheap, however do NOT buy one of the ones with the smaller engines, they have no acceleration and there is no reason to get one. Oh, another thing. My 2006 is orange. Great color, but notorious for having the clear coat peel and bubble (skin disease). It costs over $5k to get it repainted with the same dealer color, and $2,500 to get it painted a stock color, so beware of the orange Eclipses.

2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse review
I love my Mitsubishi. The only issue I have is due to its size, its got a lot of blind spots but otherwise its been a great car . It has virtually needed nothing throughout the 70 k miles Ive owned it other than regular maintenance like tires, oil etc. Nice looking, running, dependable car.

1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT review
Excellent car and fun for all ages! Reliable, expertly designed and engineered. Japanese collectible. Good for all uses, even has front wheel drive! You can drive this car in the snow and it is incredibly safe and stable. You can control the power in this car to conserve fuel by switch button and similar mechanisms within the vehicle for other options. It was very "high tech" for 1997. It is a shame that Mitsubishi stopped production in 1999, which it has been posted many times that they later regretted. It was a very popular car and now, sought after by collectors everywhere.

1997 Mitsubishi Mirage review
I bought my 1997 Mirage LS Coupe in 2010, from a lady that bought it new. She worked at a bank only 8 miles away from her home so it only had a little over 62,000 miles on it. I still own it to this day and use it as a daily driver. It still runs great and my maintenance cost has only been 1500 for the past 13 years. For a low cost vehicle the interior is in great shape. It came equipped with AC, power windows, door locks, am/fm cd player stereo and crews control. Mine has a 5 speed manual transmission. Matains it speed once set and gets a little over 40 mpg at 65 mph on the highway. Highly recommend this vehicle to anyone that wants a fun car to drive with great fuel economy. Cons A little noisy on unever roads but if the road is smooth then it's a pleasure to drive. I have the oil change every 3000 miles even though I use full synthetic oil because I want it to last forever. Take care of it and it will take you anywhere a $50,000 vehicle will in confort.

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse review
The interior is useless as a family car. Rip the back seats out, and just take the added trunk space. Performance wise, this model of GT is the fastest Eclipse to ever leave the factory, and in the GS form, turbos are easily installed on the 4G69; the big block of the 4G6# motor world, with the best flowing head of the series (sorry evo owners!). On an OEM evo intake manifold, it'll make peak power at 7200rpm, so it's a very happy motor to rev, with about a limit of 8200rpm on the stock valvetrain. Comfort wise, it's very nice on stock suspension without much float. Driving wise, in its stock form it's not as locked down as other sports cars, eg, Audi TT. Though that can be changed with fresh poly motor mounts, and stiffer sway bars or springs. Looks wise, it's bubbly. But once lowered a couple inches, it's there with the looks of a Porsche Reliability wise, with aggressive track use and 200,000 on the body (70,000 with me) total, 3 of the 4 wheel bearings are OEM, 2 sway bar end links had to be changed, and otherwise it has just been standard maintenance required. Keep in mind, the car is a GS running 500hp on a stock transmission, upgraded motor, and custom turbo setup. So when at the track, it sees far more abuse than a stock one ever would. For your typically daily driven car, it's fantastic. Commonly they last over 400,000km, but the main killer is the timing system. The timing belt AND balance shaft belt MUST be changed every 160,000km
